David Jacobs home is very 1980s.

    And very, VERY KL, lol.

I wish I could buy that house.  One, because y'all don't know how much KNOTS has meant to me over the years; and two, because there is so much I could do with that space.

    😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Bradley, would you like to answer Khan's question?😂😂😂😂😂

For once, I'm giving Bradley Bell (and Kimberlin Brown) the benefit of the doubt.  Maybe Bradley didn't know (or didn't share with Kimberlin) his plan to bring Sheila back, or bring her back so soon.  Maybe he and Kimberlin truly thought that was "the last of Sheila."  If so, then how do you explain what occurred on Y&R with Lauren and Phyllis and "Sheila"/"Sugar"?

Yep I remember Michael Easton, when he was on OLTL, once said he heard that any buzz, good or bad, is GOOD to TPTB cause that means people are invested, what they don't want: apathy

On the other hand - and this is something I wish TPTB would understand - if nine out of ten people are telling you, in so many words, that your show belongs on the bottom of a bird cage, maybe you should try and do something about that.

Listen, all GH had to do is show Sasha's desire to do more than modeling and express her love of cooking more than like once.   Say that she's been saving up to move on to school or even have her try her luck at social media cooking and say she became a sensation.

That's true.  Look at Chrissy Teigen!

You may be referring to the Rauch years where he blazed lights at the actors, had the women in pastel pantsuits and loved the women being blond...that always made the show look so washed out and "fake" but the critics raved about it..saying he made GL looks like a Reinassaince painting..lol!

It's a similar problem Paul Rauch had at OLTL, especially at the end of his tenure there, when everything about the production - sets, lighting, costumes, makeup, you name it - became so garish-looking.

Sasha was also going to pick up and move to Austin where she knew no one, had no job, and had no place to live last year after the Gladys fiasco, so I don't think life planning is a strong suit of hers.

    LOL!!

But I am going to assume she can't afford culinary school?

Then she should get a job to help her pay for her culinary training.  Better yet, she should've kept going with modeling until she at least had saved enough to pay for school and other expenses.

You're right, Sasha sucks at adulting, lol.

Even with Gladys' shenanigans she was the Face of Deception.

Apparently, the only deception going on was in the girl's finances.

I don't think Sasha's career change is problematic - there are lots of pro chefs who transitioned from other 'bigger' careers.

I'm sure I've heard of at least one model who gave up the runway and magazine covers to pursue their dream of being a chef.  But I think the issue here, at least for me, is that Sasha is turning her back on her modeling career to cook for this wealthy family rather than hone her craft first at culinary school or as an apprentice to some famous chef (who could be a spoiler for her and Cody, he mutters under his breath, lol).  It's like, have we missed a few steps here, lol?

I've said it before, I'll say it again: the first time Tracy gives Sasha the business for [!@#$%^&*] up a dish, she's done.

So that means they have to find someone else for Lois.

Not an easy task, if you ask me.  Rena and Wally shared amazing chemistry.  It's almost like trying to find a new love interest for Laura.

I would still put her with someone diametrically opposed these days.

I see where you’re coming from, but I also see the danger in doing that with a character like Lois.  Remember when Lesli Kay’s Lois was paired briefly with Alcazar?  You couldn’t have gotten more “diametrically opposed” than Lois and Alcazar; yet, to me, it seemed OOC for the otherwise streetwise Lois to have anything at all to do with him.

    More OLTL transplants on GH.

More OLTL people? I don't think it's what GH fans are craving after three (four if you count Caleb) separate roles for two OLTL stars, among many, many other OLTL visitors lol.

Ah, okay.  I wasn't sure if you were referring to something else, lol.

And yes, I would have to agree.  As hard as it's been to let go of AMC and OLTL, I really believe GH/FV needs to declare a moratorium on that stuff.

    I can't even imagine Lois/Martin together.

That's what I'm saying.  I know it all begins with names on a paper, but even when I put their names together....  I'm sorry, but I just don't see it.

Now what I CAN see is Lois falling for someone she remembers from the old neighborhood, who now lives and works in PC, and is just a regular, salt-of-the-earth kind of guy.  A real Thomas Calabro type.

  9. 25 minutes ago, Vee said:

I am not going to get excited seeing "Lois and Tad" together.

I can't even see how or where or why pairing Lois and Martin would make sense, tbh.  There's "opposites attract," and then there's "random as heck."  (Sorry, John, but I gotta call 'em like I see 'em on this one.)

If you really want to take the time to give Martin, a recurring character, a new love interest, then give him Diane.  At the very least, the Diane/Robert relationship might come to a merciful end, lol.

I just want a man and a story for Lois, and Trina.

I want the same for Tracy - except, I want a man for her who ISN'T at death's door.

Poor Brenda, always getting left out in the rain.  And, you know, maybe I'm crazy, but I believe that a part of her loved Sonny for wanting to do the "right thing" for the sake of his and Lily's kid, even if it meant losing him.

But....working as a chef for a wealthy family that expects three gourmet meals a day requires some culinary training and technique that probably doesn't work with Sasha's one signature meal she makes.

ETA- Watching now, I didn't think Carly's dress was that bad.  It wasn't the most flattering, but it wasn't the worst thing she's worn.

Plus, working for the Quartermaines isn't like working for the Waltons.  They're a mercurial bunch, to say the least; and Tracy in particular would reduce poor Sasha to a puddle of tears before the end of her first shift.

    I miss Reginald Jennings, lol.

I loved the scenes between Sonny and Laura today. But I have to wonder what is the endgame here? An entire town against Sonny but him still standing will get old quickly. We have heard nothing concrete about him actually ready to leave like we did with Tony Geary.

Perhaps, the show is setting up some big "Who Shot Sonny?" storyline?  At least, that's where I'd go with it - and if not there, then maybe have him suffer a stroke or heart attack or some such event.  Then, I'd have Brenda return for a short spell and have her, Carly and probably Ava clash repeatedly over how best to care for the recuperating Sonny, lol.

I haven't seen the show yet and won't for a few hours, but what a weird trajectory for Sasha to go from a model to a Quartermaine Cook lol.

I know Linda "I Don't Wake Up for Less Than $10K a Day!" Evangelista wouldn't do it, lol!

I still think they should have Cody say he and Mac talked about it on Zoom, lol.

Why bother dropping the bombshell on Zoom?  They could just text each other, lol!

@DaytimeFan @Khan I am convinced Eileen took inspiration from that time Angela Lansbury played Jessica as a barfly.

    LOL!!

I'm sorry, but I'm just not buying that Ashley suddenly has DID - and for reasons that still aren't entirely clear to me.

But secretly, the end of the episode shows Jordan confined behind bars in the basement of the Newman ranch in the wine cellar.  Victor says there's no way out and nobody can hear her and he made sure of that years ago.

Anything to keep her from buying another cheap-looking wig!
