  1. And I wish I didn't, lol! And you're right. Even the dummy would make a better president than the dummy. (No, that isn't a typo.)
  2. Seems like an appropriate time to post this:
  3. I'm tired of it as well, @Wendy. It does no good to get outraged, because we know the government isn't gonna do a damn thing to stop more tragedies like this from happening.
  4. I would agree, except I have enough bad mojo in my life these days and am afraid of having any more.
  5. Well, I'm not gonna wish the man were dying, lol! But, yes, the signs of mental and physical decline are there. His father died from Alzheimer's complications, so if anything, the stress of being president might have accelerated the progression of a disease that was prevalent long before now.
  6. I might have to watch just to take in the hotness that is William Zabka. (Don't judge me.)
  7. Unfortunately, others (excluding Joe Piscopo, who was too happy to ride Eddie's coattails) during that time felt that Dick Ebersol gave too much airtime to Eddie to the detriment of everyone else.
  8. What was wrong with Meg (besides her being "overly concerned" with Howie and Jane's dull relationship)? An early example of Bridget Dobson's writing. It was a pretty good scene.
  9. "Cruise of Deception" was probably DAYS' last hurrah -- at least, until JER showed up.
  10. Like I said before, I'm willing to "believe the women," except when it comes to Al Franken's situation. I remain convinced that was a political hit job, orchestrated by the GOP on outright lies and innuendo; and Democrats such as KG predictably fell for it.
  11. Wow, it's like Christmas came early in July and stayed for the end of August!
  12. Boris is determined to have his "No Deal Brexit," isn't he? Yep. He's the UK's answer to Donald Trump.
  13. IOW, he'll do what he did for his last season as a regular cast member (1983-84).
  14. I think getting back into live performance would be a terrific way to remind people of how funny Eddie Murphy once was, and still is. His sense of humor has been buried for far too long in terrible, unfunny movies that were clearly ATM transactions for him.
  15. For once, I don't care, lol. I'm just glad to see him back on SNL after all these years.
  16. I'll get behind any ticket that doesn't include Trump or has an (R) beside it.
  17. Eddie Murphy returning to host...as Leslie Jones prepares to leave. Black Jesus giveth, and He taketh away, too. Meanwhile:
  18. I would vote for a wormy apple before I would for Trump. So, do I really care about any polls? Nope, not a bit.
  19. Verily, I say unto y'all, I have not a clue who this "Bret Stephens" is, nor do I care to take the time to find out.
  20. We have a long way to go until Summer 2020. Anything -- and I do mean anything -- can happen between now and then.
  21. Except Miranda. Although she, too, is probably way younger than Don Hastings, Elaine Princi appeared more age-appropriate to me than Anne Sward or Valekka Gray.
