  1. Mini spoiler......Kim gets worse and her exit in season 5 was pretty ugly. Im glad you already hate her bc I was over her and her lying in season 1.

I LOVED Nene and Lisa. Its a shame Lisa left the show bc she brought good energy especailly in season 2 where she got more involved with the women.

I swear Im the only one that ever liked DeShawn. I thought she balanced things out from all the fighting and negativity.

I hated Sheree in season 1. She made for a good love to hate type of villian though as I loved the feud Nene had with her.

I loved Lisa! (I loved her hottie hubby too!) I always knew Sheree was a poser from day one. She always came off as trying to sound and look greater than she actually was. NeNe was love from day one. Never was interested in DeShawn... that benefit was hysterically pitiful :)

Oh I'm all for Bravo bringing Jill back despite my disdain for her; however, I want Alex back too. Those two should've never been scrapped. Should've been Cindy and Kelly that got the boot.

Agreed. Alex is very needed for this crowd, despite the fact that they always dismissed her (well, the brunettes did). If this report IS true, I really hope Jill doesn't come back with this huge ego trip. I can't imagine they'd pay her NeNe money (i.e. a million bucks) so if she's back with an average salary, that would hopefully humble her and make her realize she should be happy with what she's getting and savor every moment, cuz it could be yanked away next year all over again!

I know. Wishful thinking. I'm sure her ego will be the size of Texas regardless. I hope Heather goes at her just for her stupid Jewish comments (and if her and Ramona teamed up against her, well, that'd be my RHONY heaven)

  3. I know I have gotten into TBBT through syndication and see they broke 20 million for the first time this year, NBC should ditch the one camera sitcoms and go back to shows they used to have. Love Nene, but TNN isn't all that..

I agree that they should return to the 3 camera format of sitcoms... although to be honest, I haven't watched a CBS sitcom since... The Nanny? But still, I prefer that format: 3 (or 5) cameras, canned laughter, etc.

I checked TVBytheNumbers.com and although The New Normal had only 3.1 million viewers, the competing sitcom on ABC had only 2.8 million... Geez, is this how low network television has sunken in viewership? Wow... (I could understand if it were reruns, but not *new* shows)

  5. I wonder if anybody will look into this again. It really shocks me that Dallas seems to have done well, yet nobody is trying to reboot anything else. All of the networks seem to have trouble launching new primetime soaps, yet nothing. It's especially shocking that Dynasty hasn't been brought back since Joan Collins remains popular and Revenge is doing well.

They really oughta do something. We've already lost John Forsythe. As much as Joan seems to be ageless, she's not going to last forever...

  6. Having a MP marathon today on netflix, watching Season 4 from the beginning ;D

Hubby and I have been watching Season 4 the past 2 weekends. We're to the point where Amanda chooses Bobby over Peter, Brooke tried to kill herself, and poor wheelchairbound Jane was almost shoved into a nursing home by dear sister Syd :)

  7. I'm over Nene arguing. She's outgrown that and I love how she's evolved. It would be a regression IMO to have her back to how she was in the earlier seasons. We have Kenya for that type of messiness now

I agree. I like this new approach with her being on the sidelines watching the crazy unfold, and we get her delicious & witty commentary.

Kenya is BRINGING IT. Cynthia has surprisingly won me over. Phaedra is looking worse and worse. Kandi talks out of both sides of her mouth. Portia is a definite clown.

Im not saying she isnt beautiful. Pictures last forever and you only get one shot at wedding (well theoretically, you go into a marraige expecting one), which is why brides typically gear up prior to their weddingwith transforming their look specifically for that day. She's gained a bit of weight since she joined the show, which she has acknowledged and failed to lose while on the show. This will be her first and god willing, only one. Im sure she will want to look her absolute best and fit that day, not to mention be able to fit into the dress. This is all assuming she is even planning on a big wedding and not a quick trip to the justice of the peace

I agree. It's a [supposedly] one-time thing in life. You wanna look your best, not blobby, in photos. When they flashed back recently to Kandi and her daughter from season two, I was like, damn she's gotten a lil bigger. She still looks good though, not obese or anything tragic like that. But I see your point. smile.png

Re: BH Lisa vs. Papa Smurf. LOVE her simple "Chill". That is the best icy response someone can give, and so appropriate considering his multiple tweeting.

  9. Aw darn I missed Kim on WWHL.

I think there was speculation, based on Twitter (and was it already discussed here?), that Danielle Staub had something to do with whatever event they were all at, some sort of White Party. Danielle coyly posted a photo of herself on Twitter, all dressed in white, saying she was going to a party of sorts... I really hope it's true.

  10. I grew to really love last season of NYC. It took awhile for things to heat up, but the new girls really grew into their own, created drama, and eventually integrated with the vets very nicely. I do agree though that it didn't help that they didn't showcase the new women's homelife and really introduce us to them in the first place. I definitely look forward to the next season, no matter what they throw us, as long as crazy Ramona is there :)

Well it took her 3 seasons, but Cynthia has really become a force to recognize on ATL this year and I am actually enjoying her a lot. Her tiffs with the various ladies, her hair, and the lack of internal drama with Papa Smurf and her sister is all major plusses for her this year. Meanwhile, Phaedra is showing us that she can dish it but can't take it. She's really lost her spine and credentials this year.

Loved all those Sheree gifs, LOL! I kinda miss her, but merely from a trainwreck standpoint. It's just so funny to watch her from season one when she thought she was top dog, and now she can't even afford a mattress for her growing son.

Kenya brings the right amount of crazy to garner another season, for sure. Porsha can go. Her time-filler storyline is even worse than Cynthia ever was in season three.

    NeNe is love. wub.png

Beverly Hills is just so good! ITA with what everyone's saying... Mauricio was getting all riled up for no reason and being a huge hypocrite. I'm glad someone (it was Lisa, right) brought up Adrienne's comment last year that "friends don't sue friends." Adrienne is just a vile creature, and hearing all the things she's done since this season was taped (false allegations that Paul was abusive to their children) really shows what vindictive, jealous shrew she really is. I did not miss her AT ALL these past 2 episodes when she was barely shown.

Taylor and Kim... I can't decipher who's more loaded on pills. Taylor is so irrelevant and I think Bravo knows that there's no viewer interest in her. We've seen Camille twice as much as Taylor and have had more talking head interviews from Camille too.

With Kim, it's like "one step forward, two steps back." As soon as she says something really telling and meaningful (like her relationship issues with Kyle), she backpedals into crazyland, like with her argument with Taylor. Just like before when I thought she had settled things with Brandi, but then ran to Adrienne to gossip about Brandi and stir up trouble at Kyle's event.

Brandi may have gone over the line with her comment, but everything else since then she has been in the right about.

Side note: I do love how most episodes these days basically feature Lisa, Brandi and Kyle as the main storylines, and all the other housewives are practically at the status of "friends of the housewives." It's so Lisa heavy and Brandi heavy (and yes, Kyle heavy too, I do like her despite her being the biggest two-faced [!@#$%^&*] stirrer of them all) and I LOVE that.

Yolanda? Okay, she's starting to amp it up and tell her honest opinions of the ladies' crazy antics. This could finally get good.

  11. I was team Marlo from day one because I knew why she was brought on the show. Fauxdra & SherMan aka SheAin'tGotNoJob--along with Wighead & log leg a** Kandi wanted someone to rival Nene. They knew about the "history" between Charles and Nene, and wanted to use it against Nene by bringing Marlo on; however, they didn't bank on Nene & Marlo becoming close, which is why Team Smalls all had egg on their faces at the reunion and all got shut down.

Well, Bravo, actually was hoping for that. Funny that they became BFF's instead.

It's quite telling that everyone is cool with each other, now that Wig and SheBroke are gone. But in all honesty, NeNe has mellowed drastically from the hothead she was in Seasons 2 & 3.

  12. Twenny Five ThouZIND!

    Heck, at least Dana/Pam had a catchphrase. What's Faye's?

"Ewwwwwww, is that what you do?" I loved the way she said that to Alison DuBois from the Dinner Party from Hell.

I guess I'm the only one who likes Faye as a [!@#$%^&*] stirrer. She's better at it than someone like Taylor or Kim.

I loved the transition from Beverly Hills to Vanderpump Rules. It was very AMC-to-OLTL during the babyswitch storyline in 2004. Remember?

The only thing I really like about Vanderpump Rules is Miss Vanderpump herself. I don't think I'll be watching for the kiddies otherwise.

I love those BH ladies, it's even more delicious than Atlanta this year, IMO.

There keeps being rumors on Twitter (or wishful thinking?) that Danielle Staub is coming back to Jersey. I hope it's true.

Dear God in Heaven LOL! I remember seeing that once but blocked it from my memory. Just wow. That's from a Madea movie, right?

Kim looks like she's playing a character on Saturday Night Live with that cheapass wig and clown makeup.

It's amazing to watch Atlanta Season 1 and see how busted up Kim and NeNe look... they both look atrotious! And even with the money, nobody told them BEFORE they started filming that they look a hot mess? lol Lisa and Sheree looked good right off the bat. (DeShawn isn't even worth mentioning)

  15. I liked how BH's Kim and Kyle were blaming each other for how the fight flared up. Kim makes a good point about Kyle being the sh*tstarter, but then again, don't they all have to discuss SOMETHING when the cameras are on?

I love Faye. Yeah, it wasn't her business to attack Brandi, but I just love the way she dissects the situations. She did the same thing at "The Dinner Party from Hell" ("ewwww, is that what you do?" she said to the psycho psychic). I'd love to see her as a regular "friend of" the housewives like Camille.

Oh joy. In the next episode, there's finally a story for Taylor and a glimpse into her sad lil' life.

  16. It's funny, watching the polls on WWHL where it's a landslide in Porsha's favor vs. Kenya... cuz even though Kenya's wrong, what's to like about Porsha? What is there to really root for? That's why I'd rather side with (and watch!) Kenya vs. Porsha cuz there's nothing for Porsha to offer us.

It's also a strange vibe, watching the new ladies fight while the veteran ladies try to diffuse the situation. It really is a feeling of RHOA: The Next Generation. It also doesn't help that Porsha seems so much younger and immature vs. the veterans. Sure, Kim was 29 when she began the show, but she looked 10 years older and had an old sugardaddy, so her age didn't seem jarring compared to the rest of the cast.

Nope, haven't seen her yet. I think I read she appears in like episode 8 or 10, or something way down the line (though I guess it'll be here before we know it!)

I just recently watched the whole season 3 of New York (love, love, love! So much I could say about that season... it is EPIC) and you can definitely tell that Jennifer was meant to be something more than just a casual friend. From the way they introduced her through Jill and then later when crazy Kelly is recapping her warped version of what happened on Scary Island, it was her, Jill, LuAnn, and Jennifer seated at the restaurant. Jenn didn't say much. Maybe she did in actuality, but we didn't see it. But knowing what I knew beforehand while watching it, you could definitely see her as being the 8th housewife. Can you imagine EIGHT in an opening?

It seems like they kind of test people out or have well laid back-up plans with castmembers, by taping scenes that may or may not ever make it to air. Didn't they film last year with Kesha Knight Pullium with the potential of her being an added housewife? And in season 3, it started out with Lisa Wu-Hartwell still being a castmember until things happened behind the scenes (lack of storyline, not willing to create a fake storyline, shady business, whatever the issue was) and she was dropped and we only saw her once in a group party scene at Kim's. Perhaps Porsha was one of the lucky ones who made it to housewife status after Kim left.

Wasn't that also the case with that Marlee Matlin lookalike who was friends with Jill in New York's season 3, a test spot that ultimately went to Sonja?
