I agree with those Cheap. I think the one saving point with Sonja on NYC is that she's Ramona's BFF. Those two paired together create alot of mischief.
NJ's Jacqueline and Kathy should've worn dresses that cover their arms. Just saying

I agree that OC's Tamra is the trashiest of 'em all.

Wow, for the first time since I entered the Real Housewives world, I sat through an entire premiere episode of OC and was entertained! I love Gretchen. I don't care what her faults are, she's just so damn pretty and I love her laugh. I think she'd be better off with less make-up though. She's young; she doesn't need all that goop on her face.
Back to my favorite group, the Beverly Hills bitches: I totally agree with others that Splits and Rambles Richards were trying to twist Duchess Yolanda's words, but neither she nor Queen Lisa were going to fall for it. Yes, there were some comments made, but nothing as vicious or behind-the-back like Rambles tried to insinuate.
I do get Princess Brandi's point about Splits always discrediting Rambles' sobriety, but I can understand why Splits would be cautiously optimistic... it just comes off as pessimistic.
As erratic as she was, Rambles did more at the reunion than Taylor. There was just nothing for Taylor to even discuss, considering most of her storyline was cut out.
It was nice to see the girls cheering on Queen Lisa at DWTS. You can just see the joy on Princess Brandi's face; she is genuinely happy for her.

Excellent Top Ten choices my friend

OMG I can't wait for next week's Atlanta reunion.
"Come on, Wig!"
Kandi mistakenly admitted on WWHL that Kim and NeNe have a "lovefest" at the reunion. Andy tried to cover, but we all knew anyhow via tweets.
Kenya and that fan! LOL This woman is a character! But I love it.
I loved NeNe being the voice of reason to Kenya at the party. She's come a long way, and I love that none of the ladies have any issues with her being the smart one to reel the crazy ones in.
Porsha and her status update... I mean... You can just tell when Bravo doesn't like one of the ladies anymore. lol. Not that there's much to say. If it had been one week earlier, they'd probably say something like, "Porsha is still enjoying her pitcher perfect life. She and Kordell aren't pregnant. Yet." or some throwaway remark like that.
Huge props to Cynthia. She really turned it out this season and made herself someone that people actually care about. She looked stunning as always.

I really do not understand why Kyle would let her relationship with Lisa crumble, but I suspect it's show drama to some extent. Kyle seemed markedly nicer in season 1. I'm a little suspicious that the producers asked her to create more drama. idk.
I think Kyle believes she could or should be in the same league as Lisa, in terms of saying witty comments and being Queen Bee, but she is failing miserably. She's like Jill Zarin of NY, thinking she could be the smartest, sassiest woman of the show instead of Bethenny, but ended up sabotaging herself.

The smartest housewife to make a brand out of all of this, of course, is Bethenny.
Wonder if a couple appearances from her would boost interest in a new season of NYC.I think one of the smartest words of advice I've ever heard a housewife utter is when Ramona told daughter Avery that the best thing you can do is to make sure you get yourself an education and have a talent/profession of your own, because you must never rely on a man for wealth and security because you never know what can happen in the relationship and you have to be able to support yourself. (She saw her mother live a life of regret, being stuck in an abusive relationship).

I wonder what the issues are with NYC. It's very telling that it was supposed to start filming in February, then March, then April... and now this.
I think if they went back to focusing on all the fabulous perks of being a New Yorker instead of going on endless trips elsewhere, it'll bring back that old feeling again. The city, like in Sex and the City, is part of the charm of the show. Trips to locales near the center of the equator does not equal New York. Of course, that's one aspect. The dynamics between the ladies of course are a huge aspect and perhaps a huge issue with filming a new season.
-
And how pathetic was Kyle who spent an entire season "being there for her close friend Adrienne" now saying that she and Adrienne were never really that close? She had no idea what to say during the reunion and this time her only partner in crime was a crying junkie. Now all of the sudden saying that Yolanda talked behind Lisa's back and said some "mean things"? This is not a Lassie movie and you are no longer thirteen year old girls. Really sad.
Yes. That was ridiculous, backtracking like that. We saw and heard in her talking head comments how near 'n dear her friendship was with Adrienne. Nice try, lady. Loved how Lisa called her out on what the Kyle/Mauricio and Adrienne/Paul friendship was really based upon...

The finale and reunion were fantastic. All sorts of win. Queen Lisa, Duchess Yolanda, and Princess Brandi showed those catty wannabes who reigns supreme. I really hope Yolanda returns next season to shut down the Richards sisters (if they return too). It's so true that Kyle realized she's gotta buddy up with her pill-popping sister because she's lost all her allies.
P.S. I should replay it, but at the end, did Kyle reveal something we all knew? Did she accuse Yolanda of poking fun of Kim's relapse?
Can't wait for next week. Loved the cliffhanger ending with Lisa not believing the Kim/Kyle lies about Yolanda.
Oh. And Taylor was there too.
I can't seem to read Taylor's blog past the first page, and now it doesn't go to that page at all. Browser issue? Or did Bravo remove it?

Beverly Hills has been fabulous, start to finish, all season long! I could totally rewatch it as a marathon and not be bored, which is something I can't say for ATL this year. I think the BH ladies bring something that none of the other franchises have; they still seem fresh, not forced (for the most part). Obviously, you have grifters like Taylor and tagalongs like Kim, but overall it still seems realistic and not 100% forced. People like Kyle and Camille have genuinely become friends, as have Lisa, Brandi, and Yolanda.
So glad ATL's Porsha is leaving. She brought nothing to the show except stupidity. At least she's not sticking around to continue her stupidness onscreen like OC's Alexis.
I loved the juxtaposition between the booty workouts. Phaedra may have had a better view as a backdrop, but Kenya's looked authentic. She was using real terms to explain the workout positions and the muscles being used in the routines. Phaedra looked like she was just goofing off without any real replanning in terms of what she was going to cover in the workout video. And that outfit? Not flattering in the least! She had muffin tops all over the place! They should've just had Apollo lead and put her ass outside in the far background waving.

Bang? She went out like a clown!
Agreed. Well, if you want to consider the fight with Marlo a bang... We need someone to post a couple gifs of their fight with the hand gestures, LOL.
Afterward, she went out like a total punk trying to stir up drama with Black Babygate. In the end at the reunion, the only one saying "but it sounds racist!" was her. Nobody else agreed.

I love my campy over-the-top drama (hence, my immense love for Melrose Place), but surprisingly I find season one of Dynasty (granted, I've only watched seasons 1 through part of 5) the best. Yes, it's slow. It's like a different era of television (i.e. 70's) in the slow pace and the focus on character development (which is a good thing, just slow). I love the sibling bond between Fallon and Steven. As they pointed out in the reunion, their characters are opposite of what you'd expect. Fallon is following in her father's footsteps while Steven doesn't want to do anything with the company (and likes men!)
I do agree though that the 2 episodes where they focus heavily on the Blaisdel family, it's not very interesting.
P.S. I love the cat 'n mouse game that Fallon plays with Jeff and
Romanthe chauffeur. And also the fact that Fallon was more interested in romancing Cecil Colby.Aw, I think I'm gonna do a season one marathon this weekend

P.S. Did Heather Locklear have some sort of surgery on her nose sometime in the mid-80's? Not necessarily plastic surgery, but something that would clear up her sinus passages. She sounds SO congested in early years but it clears up later.

To try and squeeze out tears from her botoxed lion face? That's like trying to squeeze blood from a gnarly potato.
Oh my goodness... LOL
Cat, your summary of BH's episode last week just reminds me why this franchise is the best. There is literally something juicy nearly every week! Can't even say that about ATL these days. (Or Jersey)

I loved Lisa! (and her husband... mm mm yum, haha) That's why I liked Season 2 of ATL a lot because it had her, Kandi, and the other 3. I agree that NeNe's hair was best when it was short but brown instead of this blonder-than-blonde blonde she has now.
It is SO funny watching Sheree act all high 'n mighty in Season 1. I could tell she was a poser from day one. She tries too hard to make herself sound greater than she actually is. I wonder if all those friends she had over to her house in the first episode still bother to give her the time of day nowadays...
If you're still watching Season 1, Carl, be prepared to constantly see that clip of Kim saying, "My name is on the list. Nene's isn't...." LOL They flash back to that so often!

NY
Scary island; 3
Alex delivers a message to Jill from Bethenny; 3
The trip to Morocco; 4
Aviva vs Ramona in the finale; 5
In Season 3, I also liked the episode when Jill says "We're done!" to Bethenny over the phone, and then Ramona stages it so that they meet in her apartment to try to hash things out, but it only gets worse (I can't remember if that all happens in the same episode).
So much of season 3 NYC is delicious. And I'd have to pick 2 Scary Island episodes. The cray cray meltdown of Kelly and the next episode when Jill arrives and they kick her out (so awesome, ha).... oh hell, I'd probably want to pick the first island episode, too, just to get in all of Kelly's awfulness to the ladies and to see Ramona's "Turtle Time!"

DPFH was hilarious. Allison and Faye were just going at it, and I actually enjoyed Camille's sh-t stirring in that episode. Loved it!
What other episodes do you have near the top?
ETA: I just realized all my favorite episodes come from 2010. DPFH on Beverly Hills, Nene and Kim going at in Miami, Teresa and Danielle going at it at the PFS, Kelly's psycho ass on Scary Island. I really think that's when the RH franchise peaked. There have been good moments since then, but it just isn't the same. It was more authentic then. (Or maybe I have just become immune to the craziness lol)
I don't know about others, but I'd have to put Scary Island from NYC and the Bus Trip with Kim/NeNe from ATL on the list of top moments.
Maybe we should create a Top Ten Moments List of all RH franchises, just as Bravo did for Top 20 Reunion Moments.

LOL her and Nothin'ButAttitude (Brandon)... I was dead when Chit said Kyle needed to be roasted like the rotissirie pig she is or when Brandon said Lisa from MIA had a candle wax face, and called Wig, Wig Slutziack

Seriously.
You guys are better than the blogs... although I admit to only reading the episode summaries on Realitytea.com -
It was a quick flash. If you didn't look fast enough, you missed her.
And I'm sorry but I don't want trout mouth a** Lisa Rinna to hold a diamond, peach, orange, apple, pina colada--or whatever they hold in Miami, or her hands on her hips like the skanks of RHONJ. Just no. She tries too hard for me.
LOL This is gold.
Although I'd love to see Lisa Rinna on Beverly Hills. I know she tries too hard (and she laughs waaaaay too long at a joke), but I like her.
When watching Celebrity Apprentice, it took me awhile for it to dawn on me that Jack Wagner could've been on HER team instead of La Lucci, therefore reuniting Dr. Peter Burns and Taylor McBride

I think I have been pretty good to this ho, but she really grates!
This plastic two faced bitch couldn't even keep Kelsey happy.
He gets this tramp off of a MTV pole, buys her a new face and she thinks she's now one of the elite when, in reality, Camille is just an expensive whore!
Like I'm going to sympathize with a po ass ho who started in daisy dukes but is now worth about $50 million? Bitch, please! There are others who are in need of my sympathy! It would be nice if someone tossed this in her face while she is busy siding with losers!
You guys are on fire with the names! I'm loving catching up on this thread!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
in NBC | Peacock
I love how overall, there is still a love between the Beverly Hills housewives (minus Adrienne, of course, who nearly ruined the whole thing). Despite their ups and downs, they all seem to support each other for the most part.
I'm SO glad to see Ramona, Heather, and Carole back for NYC! I was getting worried they were gonna ditch this series! I'm indifferent about LuAnn, Sonja, and Aviva. I think Aviva would provide alot of drama for the other 3, so I'd bring her back. I'd say bring Sonja too, just as backup for Ramona whenever she's being cornered by the other ladies. LuAnn? Well... I just don't know how relevant she'd be or what drama she'd bring to the table...
NJ's Jacqueline looks like she's holding in her gut in that cast photo. She looks uncomfortable. I hear she pissed off a bunch of people on Twitter the other day for some remarks about Autism?
