The French Open men's final had higher ratings than Wimbledon. That hasn't happened in a while. I knew the match up was doomed for disastrous ratings. The last time Kevin Anderson was in a final it was at the US Open last year against Nadal and the numbers were horrendous. I guess not too many gave a damn about Novak's return either. He isn't a ratings grabber on tv or off......LOL The 2017 final between Rafael Nadal and Kevin Anderson had a rating of 0.96 HH and drew in 1.5 million viewers.

Considering the ESPN commentators did so much yapping and showed little to no tennis and the winner/matches were awful....it fits that the final would be dreadfully telecasted.

After this.... it's going to be the same sh!t from ESPN and TC....the big 4 all over again.....I didn't even bother watching the men's final. I hate/loathe Novak. I see John Isner already pulled out of The Hall of Fame grass court tourney....hoping he pulls out of Atlanta tourney the following week. He's got 500 points to defend and already lost 250 by dropping out of the grass reject tourney this coming week. Ha....TC brought up Justin Gimblestob coaching and pretty much brushed it off...saying John was use to it because of college....did they forget it was illegal? Tennis Channel even said Gimblestob was his coach....when did that happen?? Late in his match they mentioned that viewers had stopped complaining about his coaching. I guess I was not the only one that saw it on TV. Too bad no one ever got warned.

I would love to see Justin Gimbelstob face right now.....hahahahaha. He was so smug during the whole match and coaching John again with no warnings at all. Telling him to swing out and motioning other things to him. The winner of Nadal vs Joker will win Wimbledon. Anderson has to be out of gas. He'll only make an appearance on Sunday. I doubt he would have any chance after this match and the Roger one. And John Isner.....LOL...had the easiest draw ever at Wimbledon and couldn't even make the finals.......he's finished!! It will take him a long time to recover for the hard court season and he has so many points do defend right after Wimbledon.

This is ridiculous! Wimbledon needs a final set tie-breaker.

Well most fans see him as the villain and Edmund also complained about all the bounces too in the 4th round to which Novak was given a warning for taking too much time. I hate the bounces too. I also hate how long Rafa takes to serve the ball and he doesn't get warned at all.

Never gonna like the dude....like it was said on social media...he should be true to himself and show his true colors..no one is buying this love bit he gives fans after the match. Lawd Gimelstob is already being smug and gloating after his wins. I am looking at the company and not him for giving him so much money. Nike was wise to only give him unless he was still playing. I don't know if Roger is the GOAT. He has abandoned the clay season for some time now. He may have more majors but I am not sure if he should be called the GOAT.

He is talking about Serena's coach who is also named Patrick....LOL...not John's useless brother...LOL This happens a lot when TC and ESPN pimp it and pimp it with their talk and talk about how they want it and then do the documentary the weekend of Wimbledon. It rarely pans out anymore. Gawd seeing Joker win would be horrific. I was hoping Del Po would win. I have no fav left...Nadal for the win. I want him to chase Roger's major total and the GOAT status which I don't think Roger has just yet since he avoids clay like the plague. BTW people are saying Roger lost because he is no longer with Nike....LOLOLOL. I hate his new logo sponsor. So much money given to Roger for a career that will soon end. Funny you say that because Patrick's favorites are mine too. He usually goes for the opposite of what ESPN does...and yes he doesn't play favorites. As a TC commentator ....Gimelstob should not be allowed to set and cheer and illegally coach in another players box that he is not coaching. He stop coaching because he was having material problems and yet he got divorced and all of sudden starts sitting in John's box fully dressed in his TC attire but today I guess they gave him the day off because he wasn't dressed up. ESPN would angel the camera to Gimbelstob and he was coaching John and John would look up at him and acknowledge it and Mohomad did nothing.......absurd!

ESPN made him as another analyst. I thought it was ridiculous. Darren Cahill has the same problem with Simona and ESPN. They shouldn't be allowed to do both IMO. At least LD has the dignity to never talk about Madison's matches...she avoids it at all costs......The worst is Justin Gimblestob who isn't even Isner's coach yet apparently still coaches him and comments on his matches and does illegal coaching on the side like he did during his match with Raonic.

I am sure that the 10 people that stayed for the match enjoyed it. It sure was a ghost town during their match. Deserved considering how boring the match was. I can't believe how bad this tournament got. Either Isner or Anderson in the finals? Lawd....that's bad. The last time Anderson made a final the ratings were really really bad. Isner making the final....lawd we would never hear the end of it from ESPN or TC. Now they are saying he could win the whole thing. John Isner being a major champion is wrong for so many reasons. Raonic got injured again during the Isner match...lawd just retire early....... Since the 4 finalist left all suck....hell might as well open up more the wound to Roger and have Nadal win Wimbledon and question once again if Roger really is the GOAT. Lawd either Inser or Anderson at #6 after their match.....Anderson holds that spot right now......and if Anderson wins it all he could be #4 in the world with Isner #5 in the world.....awful.....LOL I hadn't realized how old John was already at 33......talk about having a good year and then next year his game turns back into that pumpkin.......LOL....... And Justin Gimbelstob coaching all over the place during John's match and never got warned....and he wasn't hiding it either......... And Rogerhe looked totally crushed after the loss.......glad he lost.

The big tournament will be the US Open when she breaks Margaret's record and goes ahead to 25. I am sure the finals will be sold out before the tournament starts. Too bad the finals isn't broadcast on primetime like it use to. The ratings will be big.

Is it US Open time yet? Talk about boring ...Kerber is a snooze to watch...Ostapenko hits the ball hard but has no serve. Jelena should've lost first round like she did at Paris...her serve is a big liability .....Julia Gorges.....eh...........and those that lost...Giorgi ...full speed tennis with nothing else to show.......Cibulkova..the little engine that could.....and as for Kasatkina ...I like her game but her serve needs work.

Wimbledon has been a dud this year....I am hoping Juan Martin wins it. The rest....blah.....
