  1. Welcome to the club!
  2. -- Anita going through Ted and Nicole's wedding album. Really??? -- Dani defending Ted in her conversation with Nicole. Really??? -- Bill wants a child with Hayley. Really??? -- Many people are saying "Dana can't be Eva's mother" because of the way Dana treats her. Maybe she's not her mother, but that biological connection has nothing to do with it. Dana has functioned as Eva's mother all of her life. There's no reason to believe giving birth to her makes the difference. -- Hayley is hilarious for being so clueless and tone deaf when she comments on others' mistakes and flaws. God, she's dumb. -- Alex Alegria continues to suck as Tomas. Soooooo wooden. -- Ambyr Michelle stole the episode.
  3. Today's episodes of B&B and Y&R are both up at cbs.com. No idea how this is a "full preemption." These morons need to get their ish together.

  5. -- Off, indeed. I wrote my rant while watching the show. Then I heard Dante mention manslaughter and Danny in the same sentence. Just over-the-top ridiculousness. -- Is Brad written off for good? If so, what a lousy exit. -- Portia is looking sooooooo dumb these days. Just clueless as to how she's coming across.
  6. -- This is maddening. DZ is acting his ass off, but the script is a mess. As you said, if Dante came down hard on Rocco, these outbursts would make some sense. Comparatively, though, Rocco got a pass, and that's just insane. Dante's not only criticizing Danny and Gio, but the people who raised them. It's just nuts. -- And then Dante goes to his father -- the mob boss killer WHO SHOT DANTE -- to declare Danny "reckless at heart." JFC. -- Kai was in the hospital for that dislocated shoulder about 3x as long as Sonny was in the hospital for his heart. Make it make sense.
  7. I agree with this. The fail is trying to make Joss some kind of heroine.
  8. It's a joke. If there's a way to put Joss into a WSB spy story that works, I haven't seen it. What they're doing is just ridiculous. Imagine trusting a huge operation to someone who "finished training" a month ago. I think they're trying to make this work by having a college-age agent be a part of the professor's class, etc. It might look acceptable on paper, but it doesn't work when you see it.
  9. I know the other soaps talk about staff help who we never see (especially Y&R with all those ridiculous "Mrs. Martinez" mentions), but I wanted BTG to do better.
  10. But why worry about something that might not happen? Right now, most things revolve around the Duprees. We have no idea if or how long that will continue. For now, it's working.
  11. Just watched the "Dante Screams At Gio" scenes. Jesus. Talk about overload and overkill. That was obnoxious.
  12. It does, and I don't get it. This feels like Josh Griffith's middle finger to fans. They're end game, right? That's how most people feel. So what reason could there be to keep them apart? Are we supposed to wait until Y&R is canceled and then see them reunite in the last month? Joshua Morrow and Sharon Case have FIRE chemistry with each other -- and they strain to have any chemistry at all with anyone else. Isn't that obvious by now? I can't explain it, but we've all seen it. A decent writer could give us Shick AND good stories with them.
  13. I think the shocker would be if he's NOT playing Dumas. That's where Josh Griffith plays most of his stories. Now they have Cole "self-isolating" because they don't want to put up that hospital set. Will Cole cough himself to death at the GCAC? What a "storyline." I can't believe how much JG is playing with us regarding Nick and Sharon. The teasing has become pathetic, especially for Shick fans who want them back together. My guess is that he'll reveal his real name once he is exposed.
  14. That's how I feel. Beats could have been played for the past couple months wherein Dante and Gio interacted and had a difference of opinion -- or something. I don't know. I do know that this crushing rant that blames everything on Gio is absurd. -- Reading over all the comments here about characters and couples, it's kind of amazing that we have any show left considering the number of times actors and writers and execs were given influence to make major character and story decisions. Too many cooks in the kitchen.
  15. Sorry, but this made me laugh. 😂🤣😂
  16. Have you ever heard "Know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em"? All you needed to do was apologize, say it won't happen again, and then make sure it won't happen again. Instead, you come back with excuses and defenses and distortions that no one believes. Even if you believe what you're saying is true and acceptable, by now you should know what this board believes is acceptable. Your explanation of your use of "apparently" had me smh. Just because you say a word means something doesn't make it so. Jesus. Just admit you were wrong already. You're not in any position here to call any shots.
  17. That would have saved the Anita singing segment -- having her by herself, singing quietly and reflectively. Belting it out like she was in church did not work. The black screens fade at the end was a mistake. BTG insists on being different with these fades for the sake of being different, and it's not working. I thought all of that was just fine. Worked for me. I'm going to disagree with this. Martin hasn't had many scenes with his parents, but he's been around family A LOT -- and that's what matters. We also know Martin is someone with a hair trigger response. He can be very emotional when discussing an issue before getting to the logic and reason of it all.
  18. Good to know I'm not the only one who noticed that. Strange and awkward, and I don't know what they're doing with those fades. -- Finally, had to laugh at how many Emmys this board passed out today. 😂
  19. That was bad. Product placement is fine, but not here, not now. Besides, no one carries their damn detergent to the living room. Completely and utterly disagree. I thought Brandon Claybon was excellent today -- maybe his best performance since the show started. No recast needed. Not unpopular with me. That didn't work. The montage was good, but 5 minutes of Amazing Grace? With all those verses? No. What kind of family breaks into a loud version of Amazing Grace after what just happened??? None. Anita's lecture to Leslie was great. Ending the show -- a really good episode with crackling dialogue -- like that was a mistake.
  20. But how is it "apparent" that she signed a new 3-year contract? Your wording had a voice of authority -- as if you knew it was true. A better way to post about it? Say you read online that she signed a new contract, but have no idea if that's true.
  21. Seeing this trash get good ratings says nothing good about daytime audiences. It's embarrassing.
  22. Another good show today, but -- Why is super agent Joss holding that thumb drive in plain sight instead of stashing it in her denim shorts? Make it make sense. -- Dante going after Gio (in the previews) for Rocco's alcohol poisoning is lame and cliche, just a contrived way to drive a wedge between father and son.
  23. Thanks -- you're doing God's work 😂🤣😂 The Gio reveal was everything I hoped for and more. GH got it right. Head to toe, GM is a stunning physical specimen.
  24. I agree -- I didn't suspect Ted, either. I think a lot of people are giving themselves way too much credit in predicting Ted's problems 😂 And can I have a different take on Ted here? Yes, he's made a huge mistake with this Leslie debacle, and yes, he has to suffer and pay for it. But does that make Ted a terrible human being? I don't think it does. He made a horrific mistake over 2 decades ago, and as far as we know, he's been a good husband and father since. As far as we know, he hasn't strayed or violated his marriage since. He didn't know that he fathered another child, and thought he "removed" Leslie from his life. I won't blame Nicole if she doesn't forgive him, but I also won't blame her if she decides what they have and what they've had more than makes up for what he did. Ted is getting dragged far more than Bill is on these boards, and I think Bill is MUCH worse as a husband and father. How many times did he cheat on Dani during their marriage? How many times did he do vile things in his role as fixer? How much did he hurt his daughters by screwing their friend and marrying her? With Keith Robinson coming in as Ted, maybe we'll see a character change in direction and we'll discover that Ted has many flaws and always had a dark side. For now, though, I'm inclined to both be angry with Ted for hurting his family while also sympathizing with him. I know what you mean, but I do think that was intentional. So much was going on in that episode, and I think they decided not to let Nicole's reaction be lost in all that. Nicole will get those scenes that you're asking for.
