I just hope Mo doesn't turn this around to make himself look like the victim

I think MB is too busy blocking people who called him out on being a huge ass. I included him on a couple tweets where I told him what I thought of his disrespect for others while demanding devotion and deference. Took him about an hour to block me. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

It is the age old casualty dilemma - Do they tell fewer teen stories because less than 10% of their 3.5 million viewers are teens? (or) Is less than 10% of the audience between 18-25 because they tell fewer teen stories?

Personally, I don't care for teen angst, but I would enjoy more early career stories rather than all of these nepo-babies and gold diggers where there is no conflict whether or not their businesses succeed because they'll just build a new one when inspiration strikes.

I want economic diversity and striving in soaps, rather than just more young rich kids (not that those are the only options, although it seems to be in Genoa City).  Currently most characters are either millionaires, married to millionaires, or have kids by millionaires.

Actually, we’re told they’re millionaires, but we don’t see it and they don’t live like it.

  3. Peacock might not be tremendous, but it’s much better than some people here give it credit for.

There’s more original programming all the time, and a big library of NBC and Bravo shows. There are sporting events. There are complete series runs of shows like Downton Abbey.

I get it gratis because my cable is Xfinity/Comcast, but I’d pay the $4.99 if I didn’t.

  4. I think the reason so many of us are talking about those Chad and Sonny scenes is because the director and production team INTENTIONALLY shot those scenes to be homoerotic. It's because Billy Flynn and Zach Tinker leaned into all of it.

They could have shot that same dialogue in a completely different "bro" way, never leaning into anything sexual at all. This isn't about us seeing something that doesn't exist -- it's about us seeing exactly what they gave us.

Watch those scenes again. The camera shots are often tight and close. That's perfect when you put Sonny in a tight shirt that shows off big pumped guns. Closeups on the guys' faces plays into this, especially when you see how closely Chad and Sonny sit together on the sofa. It's just not possible that Sonny would sit THAT close to Chad unless he was directed to do so.

Sonny gets up at one point, and when he sits down again, he AGAIN sits right next to Chad -- making it very easy to do a comforting hug that leaves A LOT open to interpretation. Of course, Billy and Zach play it to the hilt. They know EXACTLY what they're doing, and I think they want us to notice and to take this where we've taken it. Those hugs and embraces can be found in the dictionary under "homoerotic."

A while back, in a Billy Flynn Twitter thread, someone posted a screenshot of Billy's booty in tight slacks. I literally thanked Billy for wearing tight pants so often. Did Billy respond? Only with a LIKE, but that was enough to make my day LOL. He didn't respond to everyone, either -- that's not what it was. I see BF as evolved and more...a great ally who has NO problem flirting and more on cam with another guy. These are the straight guys I love hehe

Same with Zach Tinker. The guy knows he's lusted after, and he's fine with giving us his best assets. I think he's much more comfortable onscreen with the gay stuff than Chandler Massey is.

I might be wrong (and I hope I am) but I don't think DAYS will "go there." I think they're willing to tease and torture us but that they're afraid to go all the way and have Chad and Sonny do the deed.

Lord Chandler Massey looked so hot.❤

Lots of handsome guys on today's show. I'm still not liking JJ facial hair. He looks better shaved.

I didn't see any problems with Chandler acting today. The only time he smiled was when Chad was recalling the good times with Abby. I don't think that deserved some serious I'm crying look at all.

The simple holding hands scene with Will and Sonny.❤

I wish the writers would stop trying to make Lucas a suspect. We know he didn't do it.

Loved Jennifer's talk with JJ about Jack. I still thought Jack was a prick for storming out after JJ spoke the truth about Gwen.

It was a nice episode with a variety of characters . Not much happened but still a simple enjoyable episode.

We’ll have to disagree about Chandler’s smirks. They’re all over the place.

JJ does not look good with the facial hair.

Speaking of looks, let’s face it — Lucas lost his. He was never better than average looking to me, but the average days are gone.

Kayla’s speech (or whatever that was) about Abigail was so bad. Someone hates her.

Zende is shamelessly SIMPing over Paris.

The so-called love between Quinn and Carter has been poorly developed all that has been displayed is lust. I give them till December. We see how fast things went downhill for Finn and Steffy. Paris struggled to covey devastation in her scenes.

Love seeing multiple storylines per episode! The Sheila Mike flashbacks were a good touch. Mike gives me Dr Tim Reid vibes.

You're so right -- Zende is a SIMP and worse. I cannot believe how pathetic he was when seeing Paris after the wedding dump. He has no self-respect, and neither does Paris, frankly. She should have smacked Carter herself.

I have NO idea why Quinn and Carter are in love, but only that they're hot for each other. They're a joke, and you're right that they won't last a year.

The Mike flashbacks were good, except that once again we had a man who looks like a complete fool. Sheila has treated him like CRAP and he still commits felonies for her.

Not a single tear in Paris' eyes today yet she's so heartbroken 🤣

I thought the same thing -- no tears at all, along with close to a complete lack of emotion. Lousy acting.

Speaking of no tears, let me know when Sheila sheds one.

When Carter kissed Quinn right in front of Paris, it was such a dick move.  I do like Quinn/Carter better than Paris/Carter, but that scene and their reunion just didn't feel right with me, mainly because it was so rushed.  Quinn finding out about Eric/Donna and reuniting with Carter happened in just 2 episodes.

So on point with all of this. This long buildup...and then done in 2 frickin episodes. Jesus, what awful writing. That Quinn/Carter kiss in front of Paris was pathetic, although you'd never know it by looking at Paris, who NEVER shows any real emotion. She's like Barbie's friend on Trazadone.

The Carter/Quinn reunion was completely rushed, with no real discussion as to the impact of what they've done. I can't root for either of them.

And Donna? You mean no one is going to give her hell for breaking up a marriage? Or will she just disappear again for 4 months?

How come Doug Davidson didn't get a 40th anni episode in 2018?

He was still on the show at that time. Was he already marked for extinction at that point and they didn't want to draw attention to his status?

You make a good point about DD, but after seeing what a right winger he is on social media, I’m glad he’s gone. He’s now living on fumes — retweeting fans who want Paul back.

The special episode was exceedingly well done. The flashbacks were excellent, but so was the dialogue leading into and out of those flashbacks. It’s not easy to make those look natural and genuine, but the writers were at the top of their game — as were Eileen Davidson and Beth Maitland.

I am going to disagree.  She was bad.  She was bad at the morgue and bad at the pub.  I know Cady is a very capable actress, but this was terrible.  I can cut her a little slack since she's a recast, but it was a big NO for me.  I didn't really like Matt's take on this either, but Cady was the worst by far.

Glad I’m not the only one who thought she was awful. I don’t think a single thing she did connected. No way did I feel like I was watching a mother grieving her murdered daughter. She made weird faces, with emotion out of the 1940s — and no tears.

Matt Ashford was lousy, too. Cady saved him because she was so much worse.

A party that actually seems somewhat busy in Genoa City, where the crowd noise actually feels appropriate to the number of people shown on screen? They’ve been taking notes.

I agree. That was better, but….

That crowd for the launch IN THE HOTEL LOBBY??? I realize the set was extended a bit, but they’re still in the lobby. Awful.

Speaking of awful, who dressed Nikki? That blue sparkly thing could not look more matronly. Jill looks so much better.

Am I the only one that thought Cady McClain was not good today?  She was trying, but I thought it was A LOT.  This is a case where I actually think we needed Missy to get the emotions across.  Not because she's a better actress, but because I think I would have felt more if it was Missy's Jen.

Co-sign. I thought Candy McClain was TERRIBLE. And no, I’m not a MReeves fan, either. Candy made one odd face after another, and none of it felt like real grieving. Yes, it was definitely A LOT.

Billy Flynn fared better, but he went from “He’s doing great” to What the hell face is he making?”

On Twitter? Days fans are screaming EMMYS FOR EVERYBODY!! I get so tired of the Emmy crowd handing out the gold statues every time there’s sobbing over a soap death.

  11. These people spend all their time at the pool or at the club. It’s absurd.

Britt is AT THE CLUB complaining about needing sleep after being frunk the night before. GMAB.

I know GH has been praised for their sets lately, but those outdoor campground sets are awful. Who puts up a tent right smack up against the edge of the woods? None of it looked real.

And oh, that pool deck? Shouldn’t it be concrete? Instead it sounds like they’re walking on sheets of plywood.

He's so boring looking. And listen I'm not one to talk but idk why his first scene was shirtless, I don't think that did him or us any favors.

Josh Kelly is great looking. I don’t know what you mean by boring looking.

You are right about the shirtless scene. He was pasty white and looked like he was carrying Covid weight gain.

  13. I’d rather they spend money on extras than on updating Crimson Lights. There’s never anyone there except business people who wouldn’t have to leave their offices for coffee. The same goes for Society. It’s empty. The Grand Phoenix? Barren of customers. Compare that to GH. The pool set will quickly become overused to the point where it’s laughable, but today the place was FILLED with extras, making it all so much more realistic.
