  1. Yes, he played Theo between 2008 and 2015.
  2. He's been on constantly for two years. Time for a rest.
  3. I had no idea who Jackee Harry was before she joined DAYS so I have no reason to care or go gaga over her character. They seriouly have the baby christening at the park bench (or as they call it on the show "the private" part of the square) set. Sad. So tired of RSW's acting and his compressed screaming of lines.
  4. Are they still together? He was in her insta stories all the time and then just stopped. And they no longer follow each other.
  5. I think that random guy worked for Andre, who was calling Sami from time to time using a voice scrambler.
  6. Yes, that is correct. "Hope's Mystery" and "Who Is Gina" are from the the 1998 soundtrack. "Kiss of Death", "Discovery" and "Theme for a Princess" are from the 2010 soundtrack. "Racing Against Time" is from Brent Nelson's website. It first played in 1996 when John used virtual goggles to see Marlena and Stefano in Paris. But I included it here because like you said it played in that iconic scene of Hope laying in the snow and having flashbacks of both Hope and Gina. Then when she opens her eyes part of "Kiss of Death" played. The rest of the scores have been edited from different scenes by me and my friend StefPhoenix. I have another playlist with scores from other stories and characters. I update it from time to time with new uploads. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyEu8OzxhqW_gF4QWNH9GXD12Au_d-Lnx And my friend also has a playlist https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLe46gLHYt5QV6QRh8eGOj7Im6HRxp3KcM
  7. A playlist with 12 musical scores from the original Princess Gina storyline back in 1998-2000, and with some themes continuing to play in 2001-2002 during the Baby Switch storyline and around Greta's Coronation. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyEu8OzxhqW98AC8-1-4mTe5kIbF_8UXg I was meaning to post these last fall when the new Gina story started but I never got around to it, until today. I'm not a fan of the new Gina story but one good thing to come out of it was a couple of scores. But I don't have those yet.
  8. John Aniston had such swag back in the days. I love it!
  9. Stefano did cut his losses with Marlena... when JER left as head writer. Stefano got more involved with other ladies again: Vivan, Celeste, Kate. Joe was happy with that because he was also tired of Stefano kidnapping Marlena so many times. JM thought the quality of the writing went down when Pat Falken Smith left as head writer. And that was like three months into his original run as Stefano, LOL. But like you said, he ran with it and played it with great gusto.
  10. I meant too old for John. Not too old to be front and center in stories. Again, this is one of the things I've heard over the years. But I think the longer Reilly's tenure went on, the more power he had to write what he wanted to write.
  11. I haven't watched those years but it's my understanding that Alex was the main bad guy in 1979-80, no? But watching 1982 and onwards, he felt like a secondary antagonist taking orders from players like Stefano and Victor. I don't remember him doing much his last six months on the show after Emma's death. I think if it hadn't been for Quinn Redeker's portrayal, Alex would have been written out much sooner. Speaking of which, his exit, torching the Salem Inn and being taken away in handcuffs, felt kinda lame for a character who had been on for eight years. But then again it seemed like many long-term characters were tossed aside back then. Don and Neil being the two infamous none-exits. I have to say SSH was smoking hot when she returned in 1990.
  12. I've heard over the years that it was NBC who thought Marlena was too old for John but that Reilly was pro-J&M. Don't know what's true or not. But wasn't it after Maison Blanche and before the possession that John really courted Kristen when Tony was blind? I think he slept with Kristen before becoming a priest again. I only have 1994 episodes up until August so I haven't watched Sep-Dec since they aired. Going by memory here.
  13. Maybe his time frame was about writing or shooting the episodes? Because like you said it started right before Christmas on-screen. I recently tweeted to Greg Meng (co-executive producer and creator of the app) about the geo-blocking, and many others have done the same. He liked our tweets so hopefully they're working on it, but so far no luck. It's not just Canadians but everyone outside the US.
  14. The transitions are fun to read or rewatch. Even in more recent years when the show has been crap I find transition periods somewhat fascinating.
  15. At least on GH his peaks were really good. I feel like on DAYS he's never even reached that, it's decent at best. The only good time periods IMO have been September - November 2017 and October 2018. That's not much in almost two years.
  16. And back then they worked much longer hours. I remember Drake once said in an interview they could start working 7AM or something and be done 11PM. Go home and sleep for a few hours and then back to the studio, and they also worked on weekends when they shot big events. These days an actor can be done for the day by lunch, or they don't start until after lunch. Plus they have alot of weeks off when the studio is dark.
  17. So much THIS! Yep. Love him or hate him, but he gave the show a new successful era when it became apparent around 1991-92 that the Adventure/Supercouple formula from the 80s wasn't working anymore.
  18. Yeah that would have been a good time to reintroduce the Hortons. I think the show cared about Nathan around this time. It felt like they were invested in him. Didn't he get Tom or Bill's medical bag or something? His exit was abrupt, around the same time Stephanie and Philip were written off when SH and JKJ left. Though Stephanie didn't really get an exit. Her last scene was at the Brady Pub warning Dario (the new flashy guy!) to stay away from Melanie. The Nathan actor was fired and he whined and tried to drum up support for a return, and during the MarDar "reboot" in Fall 2011 (when John, Marlena, Austin, Carrie and Jack came back) he leaked a "rumor" that Nathan was coming back too, LOL! Anyway, I'm currently watching episodes from 1994 as I'm adding them to my playlist (link at the end of this post if anyone is interested). I haven't reached Tom's death and funeral yet but I like how JER had already given the Hortons more focus again. He brought back Laura, Bill and Mike all within a few months. This is the first time I'm watching full episodes from 1994 since I originally watched them back in 1998 and I thought Bill just returned for a couple of episodes during the Lucas reveal. It's been a pleasant surprise to have him around for a longer stay. I'm enjoying his presence in Salem and his interactions with Laura, Jennifer, Alice and Kate. So sad Christopher Stone died a year later at such an early age. 1994 playlist https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLgE6kU-2lps2mT7c3_EsOFjtEhz3EFMz8
  19. He played a thug that Dario hired to stalk Gabi in 2016. She played a nurse around that same time period.
  20. Here's part of an interview with JER where he talks a little about John/Marlena/Roman (although the question/subject was about Victor/John Aniston), still it's a good read. That being the case, why didn't you write for John Aniston? Victor used to be the bad boy of Days -- he was in everybody's business. Granted, that was before you got there, but still -- why didn't you make him a rip-snorting villain again? When I came back, Victor had already become the good guy and Stefano was the villain who affected everybody's lives. I looked at what we had -- which was Roman I and Roman II and Marlena -- and as a viewer I had to ask: Why wasn't there more of an impact on these people's lives when Roman I came back and Marlena found out she was sleeping with the wrong man? I mean, all they played was Marlena sort of looking at John when Roman came back and saying, "Oops." That was it? Hello? We're all going to make believe that Marlena, who had been sleeping with John for so many years and raised children with him, would just turn off her feelings? Yet that's the way it was written. It made no sense. Obviously, John and Marlena -- being basically very decent people -- had to put their lives and feelings on hold because they weren't going to destroy the family and hurt Roman and stuff. It wasn't their fault but it was Stefano's fault. I had to do surgery. It was the first story I had to address but to do that, I had to bring back Stefano because he was so crucial to it, and in doing that I could not have Victor and Stefano butting heads. I couldn't have two villains the same age. They'd be like Villain One and Villain Two. And the momentum of the baby story with Aniston and Debbie Adair got killed because Debbie wanted to have her own child and was out at various times when she was going through the in-vitro fertilization process. I've seen alot of fans say this over the years, but when I watch clips from WN's original run in 1981-84, I think Roman's the same kind of jerk that he was in 1991-94.
