The ratings for the premiere were abysmal. By comparison the show was doing double when it went off the air with last seasons reunion. I watched but i know alot of people that said they would drop without Monica and it looked like they kept to their word As for the premiere, I was entertained enough bit the women were too performative. Mary was the only authentic one. Im convinced they all got together and agreed that they had to show up and show out to prove to Bravo that htey didnt need Monica. the fighting seemed stupid and fake. Lisa throwing a glass? That was over the top and did not land like she thought it did. Neither did Angie and her thirsty scroll. Why is she still here? Bronwynn cant dress. she's calling it fashion but she looks horrible Brittani...dont like her and peeped game with that passive aggressive jab at Mary I did laugh at Whitney trying to come for Lisa and failed as the rest of the women dragged her...lol. Its what she deserves Heather...F her

Never in my life did I ever think RHOC would be thebest show of the franchise but she is that girl. That dinner party was EVERYTHING and much better than what RHONJ gave. This is reminding me of RHOSLC last season where every episode was great Vicki needs to be a Friend. She adds so much and is a familar face that fits in Tamra is a !@#$%^&*]. I like her and find her enjoyable but the way she is going at Shannon who was her friend is disgusting. She is acting like Rinna and thats not a compliment Alexis looks so stupid but she makes for a good villian Katie...I like her but she's dying on the wrong hill. Who cares if Heather called paps on herself? Thats such an LA thing to do and they are blowing this up to be a big deal I love Jen's energy. I think Kyle is kept there bc she's the anchor love it or hate it. With her gone, I dont think any of the other women can really fill that role. On paper, Id want to say Sutton but she's not a central figure and they havent been building her up as such. I feel BH would feel disjointed without Kyle. The only way I can see Kyle gone and it working is if htey brouhght back LVP

Agreed and I completely forgot that Alexis' ex husband sued Shannon a few years ago which was a recurring storyline in the background. That adds another layer to this new feud they have that I hadnt even considered. I really wish Alexis was full time and not just a friend but regardless, it looks like she is clocking in. I only wisht his show wasnt on Thurs. I dont like the idea of RH shows being on so late in the week. It should be Sun, Tues or Wed

IA. It was just the right Im here for. As a former Alexis hater I love that she is owning this new villian role. She had me gasping with how bold she was. Shannon for what its worth, is handling herself quite well. This is going to be a GOOD season. Better than RHOP, RHOA, RHONJ for sure

Thats expected and i kinda feel like they had to. Beau isnt there to carry out his vision for season 3 so Im sure there are things introduced in S2 that would end up being dangling plots that make no sense. The rewrites will help allign things and make it feel more cohesive and less jarring when the show moves in a different direction. I think a change in headwriters will be a good thing. S1 was enjoyable but was TOO fast paced. Beau knew the source material well, almost too well to a fault. It felt at times like he was just throwing things in there just for the fandom without having any intent on developing it. It was like dude, you are burning through so many plotlines; lets save some for future storylines. In fact his style felt like what you see when writers dont know they will get multipl seasons so they write each one as if its the last. I think the show would benefit greatly from slowing down and takin proper care to developing the characters bc at times it felt lik they had no room to breathe. That style of writing really hindered the show and it would have been much stronger had it not been so fast. The new weriter definitely should not try to follow Beau's style.

RHOA Im believing more and more that the Kenya departure is a publicity stunt. Bravo took a long time to confirm she was signed on or the show and i think they didnt give her a full season. Maybe her contract was for 7 episodes or so (similar to what Nene was offered but turned down). If thats the case, I can see this being a storyline they use to explain why she's off the show for half the season, only to make a dramatic return towards the end to film the remainder of her episode count. Im going to save this post and come back to it if thats in case what happens. They've never come out and said she was fired FYI, Bravo did the same thing with Quad on M2M. They "used" the women to vote Quad off the show but the reality is she only signed on for 7 episodes so they were going to have to come up with a way to explain her absence and baked that into the show as to not break the 4th wall. Im seeing the same for Kenya as she's probably expensive as the longest running housewife
