Speaking of Capitol, was there a point in which Kimberly Beck, who played David Mason Daniels's lover on that daytime soap, might have fared well on Knots Landing? She did have a four-episode stint as Claire Prentice on Dynasty during the 1986-87 season.

Kimberly Beck, who appeared as Julie Clegg McCandless on Capitol for about a year and a half, played Trish Jarvis in the 1984 slasher film Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter. As a young girl, Kimberly had an uncredited small role in the 1964 Hitchcock film Marnie. David Hasselhoff and Catherine Hickland both appeared in the 1988 horror flick Witchery.

@Broderick You mean Catherine Hickland, right? For much of the '80s, she was married to Y&R alum David Hasselhoff. You do not think Ms. Hickland would have fared well on Y&R at any particular point, correct?

It's my understanding that the January 18, 2003, edition of TV Guide had an article by Michael Logan entitled "A Capitol Idea." It was about the late John Conboy becoming executive producer of Guiding Light, was it not?

Um, was there anything good about Marcy Walker's 1993-95 stint as Tangie Hill on Guiding Light? A certain Facebook friend of mine has told me that he enjoyed seeing Marcy on GL even though the actress herself has admitted that the stint didn't turn out so well.
