That’s the best they can do for the Horton ornament hanging? Pitiful. I can’t stand Julie, Doug, or Maggie. Xander is the second murderer to have his ornament on the tree after Ben. Is this dude ever going to pay for shooting Marlena? I and many other Jarlena fans are so very tired of seeing them attached at the hip with Patch and Kayla. These couples are not the same nor do they share the history fired guy thinks they do.

No she wasn’t. Marlena wasn’t married to a Horton. Her relationship with Alice in particular was mother/daughter. I think it’s important to remind you, Donna, that Roman only exists because of Marlena. He was brought on specifically for her. Bo, Kayla, and all the others owe their existence to Marlena and Deidre’s popularity. She is the star of the show after all.

I prefer Marlena as a standalone character. Plus she was like a daughter to Alice and Tom.

Because I like Ron and Susan Haskell? TBH I hate Ron for what he did to Marty on OLTL, turning her into a crazy, murderous all over McLame and all to prop Gnatalie. I only watched his GH when Genie was on. He just happens to write Days similarly to my favorite writer JER.

I won’t, but I would love to see Susan Haskell temporarily play Brooke.

I thought Krista brought a lot of infectious energy to the role and was fun to watch. I wouldn’t wish her paired with Thorsten though. No one deserves that. Unless it’s Patrick and Marty. 😍

Their parents made brief appearances. I’ve seen a blurry screencap of Frank Evans at Marlena’s wedding to Don, and I’ve seen a clip where Roman phones Martha after Marlena is seemingly murdered (remember, he didn’t know Marlena had a twin).

Her main rivalry was with Lauren. Either Lauren should be back on B&B or Sheila should be back on Y&R. I just think the hatred for Ron is so over the top and mostly unwarranted, especially when he’s blamed for things he’s not even responsible for. Out of the four soaps, he’s the best of the head writers. I’m also not “kissing his ass”. Speaking as a Billie fan and Bope hater, Ron is the first person to write Billie properly since the 90s.

Ron did a great job with Billie in 2018 and especially Beyond Salem. (also, Ron isn’t the devil)

I prefer Lisa but I’d welcome her back to Days. Not sure who they’d pair her with, though. Maybe bring back Nikki Alamain?

While I never liked Lani I do think she has spent enough time in prison for her crime. She and Eli deserve their offscreen HEA with the kids. Gabi on the other hand did not spend enough time in prison for murdering Nick. However, I’ll admit my bias because I could never stomach Banus.

This is very true. I was also pleased when Joey spent years in prison for murdering Ava. I don’t like murderers walking around free. Absolutely hated it when Andre was allowed to not only walk around free but run the DiMera company. Xander belongs in prison next.

At least Lani is actually paying for the crime of murder unlike Ben. I like Leo but as I said in another thread, I don’t want him as a romantic lead. I like him best as a snarky, pot-stirring supporting character. He should be the Ivan to Theresa’s Vivian. They could also use MPD to explain that Leo Stark is the dark alter ago of Matthew Cooper as a result of being abused by his father. Then the true, toned-down Matthew could re-merge, thus making Greg’s role more viable.

Will Alan grill them on their silence regarding Alarr?

Alex having been married to Sam and then going after Marlena for revenge makes sense. I like it.

FYI, Peter Porte was at Day of Days in October so he must be coming back soon.

Leo is truer to life than any of the previous gay characters. I like him.

Li’s murder story was put on pause because of the strike.

Yes, a lot of Jarlena fans have speculated that she could have been pregnant when she was presumed dead in 1987. Stefano would have had to have done something with the baby. The Gemini Twins was such a missed opportunity. They should have been Orpheus’ children that Marlena took care of on his island. They eventually showed up as Evan/Christian and Zoe. Marlena’s foster son was named Johnny so they’d have to change his name if he ever returned.

Just bring back Andrea as Sam! I’d actually bring her back as Hattie and then reveal Hattie has been Samantha with amnesia all this time. Stefano wasn’t on the show when Sam died and he hadn’t even seen a picture of Marlena until his very first episode. I don’t like back from the dead stories but Sam is the only character I’d bring back from the dead if I ran things. With Andrea in the role of course.

Nothing’s going to change my mind either. Stalemate. We will never get Eileen back as Susan if something happened to Ron. I’m backing the writer who will feature/bring back all of my faves: Marlena, John, Eileen’s characters, Lisa’s Billie, Bonnie, Mimi, Carrie, Austin, Hattie, Dr. Rolf, Edmund, Jack and Jennifer (Missy), Jan, Vivian, and Ivan.
