Fun fact: When Anjelica was on in 2017, Days was going to cast Alexander and bring back Matthew Ashford with it being revealed that Anjelica had faked his death. Unfortunately, this was all scrapped when Ron replaced Dena.

She saw Bonnie having sex with Lucas and literally dropped dead. Pretty easy to reverse by Days standards. Judith was the most recent actress to play Anjelica when she appeared as a ghost to Hattie in 2018, but Days has reversed ghost deaths before as well.

With AnnaLynne McCord likely a recast for Abby, I’m hoping Judith is playing Anjelica and that she is responsible for faking Abby’s death.

She hasn’t lived in LA since 2006. She also returned for several episodes in 2021 and 2022. She’s obviously open to returning so I’d love to know why she’s not back for Abby’s resurrection. Since it’s likely McCord is Abby, I am hoping Judith Chapman is playing Anjelica and has had Abby for the past couple of years.

Folks may have special feelings about her from those boring East Coast soaps but she is just not capable of playing Jennifer properly. I’m a 30+ year JnJ fan. I know of which I speak. This begs the question, why didn’t Missy return? She didn’t return for Abby’s death because she didn’t like that they were killing Abby and didn’t want to play those scenes. But this is Abby’s resurrection so why would she not want to play that?

For what it’s worth, the Days instagram refollowed Matt (yay!) and Cady (yuck!) so the chances are high that Marin is Abby. As a true JnJ fan, I’ll be FFing through all scenes with the faux Jennifer. Cady’s just a lame AMC leftover who has proven herself incapable of playing Jennifer Rose Deveraux. She plays her too harsh and is not able to capture the innate sweetness and likability Missy brings to the role. Cady plays her like a depressed bitch. Susan Haskell and Kristina Wagner would have been suitable Jenn recasts.

Everett is Blake Berris’ middle name. I don’t know if that’s been pointed out before.

If she’s Abby then hopefully Matt and Missy are returning on contract. You can’t do this story without Jack and Jenn.

That’s not the kind of story that belongs on Days, certainly not for a larger than life character like Paulina Price.

They didn’t bring Lisa Trusel back for Rogers’ 50th anniversary so they clearly aren’t interested.

I would prefer a Belle recast but I’ll take anything that’ll get Matt and Missy back on the show.

Why do you hate him so much? You act like he ate your first-born son. Days films six months in advance and writes seven months in advance. So when he was fired in August they would have had about a month’s worth of his “writing” to film.

I can’t think of any Evans, Horton, Brady, Dimera, or Kiriakis she could be playing. Obviously she’s not a Carver. There are no girl Alamains. Oh gawd, what if she’s Melanie?! Omg….if she’s a Belle recast that is some MAJOR upcasting!!!! Now I’m convinced she’s Belle, lol

The cast wanted Sonia as EP which is why I’ve been dubious of Janet. My fear is that she’s Albert’s crony and we’ll continue to get the same poorly-produced version of Days. That being said, I’m curious to see how Ron does not that he’s not shackled by Albert.
