Yea, it was so weird after the life she built up...one minute she was pushing Dylan away, and chasing Hart, and the next she is like "Oh, I'm going to go live with Dylan.." No goodbyes to Nola or her family, (but by this time she and Chele acted like they hardly knew each other...) Yea, that is weird..they could have had a short story where Bridget and Dylan get together again as she supports him through the Reva/Annie trial...(but then everything has to be ALL about Reva) This was the perfect time to have Jenna and Buzz leave town together happy..(after this they made Jenna a bad soccer mom, then killed her, and Buzz does really nothing) I am surprised that Ed got a party send off during McTavish...later on he just disappears.

Im good with that..they did have Nola say to Bridget..when asking who she was interested in but won't say, "Frank? I mean he has a nice body but he's married." My concern would be that they would make Bridget a Julie...chasing after Frankie while poor dull Eleni is at home, or as they made Nola chase after Buzz and made the Coopers look down their noses at the Reardons. Now if they sent Eleni packing, like they eventually did..say she goes to Greece to take care of that weird MaMa and those two dumb brothers for a bit...and Frank can't come for work, and Bridget and he eventually fall for each other...but soaps at that time didn't do triangles unless one side was EVIL and the cards were stacked for the good people.

Yea, they were setting him up with Alex and with Lillian. Stewart did not want to be paired with women his age...big dummy, and he was a bit of a pain..so Kobe took it as an opportunity to whittle the Bauer family down more, so she fired him. The problem was, that left Alex hanging out with her gaybestie Warren, Kobe recast Ed and killed off Hillary at the same time...so we really lost three Bauers at once. Kobe thought she could get rid of and recast the Bauers as long as she had Charita, but right after killing Hillary, recasting Ed and firing Mike, Charita was too sick to work and passed away. It was a mess and Kobe did nothing to climb out of it, (i.e brining back PS or MH, recasting Hope or Mike) then on the other side all the Reardon actors were quiting and then she wrote off Bea, who was the last character on canvas who could have filled it, at least for a while, for Bert. Kobe ranks up there with JFP as crippling GL at a point where it could have really gotten even stronger.

I LURVE Rick and Mindy..they should have gotten Krista back as she was one of the ONLY women that MOL had great chem with..you can see them as friends and more. Can't believe they waited until the end to bring her back and then had to have that Twitter thing after GL was dead where Mindy tries to settle into married life and being a new kind of Bauer matriarch..which would have been great to see on the show as the years went by. They both would seem to be the cute, nice suburban couple down the street, which just a bit of kookiness to make them interesting. I actually could see Bridget being the start of bringing in a new family to SF..another blue collar family, maybe a Latino family...(not the Santos) Maybe a cop who keeps coming into Company...in a perfect world that Zaz didn't get sick it could be a cop investigating Roger..causing friction..Anyway, Bridget should have stayed ..she didn't even need huge storylines, just behind the bar at Company and at BH connecting all the dots in town even as Ms. Exposition..as long as the Cooper don't stink up Company!

Speaking of Bridget, I know people don't agree but I think she had matured enough going into McTavish that they should have stared working on her being somewhat the new Mo. I think that the actress had a warmth along with the sass to keep her from being boring. I wonder how she would owrk with MOL...going from a sisterly relationship with him to something more...(both burned by people who don't love them and then Peter gets sick and Rick is his doc and they grow closer...) Roger would have a fit, Ed and he could have some clashes, and Bridget sees that Rog does care but doesn't take his crap....Rick needed someone with some edget to keep him interesting. Abby was just too damn perfect.

I think Susan and John would have remained viable characters without taking the edge off them too much. I loved how snippy Susan was when she first came back...and the perfect co-conspirator with John against the Hughes/Stewart "alliance" as John used to call it! Marland blanded EVERYONE out. And yes, John not being involved with James when he returned was a big miss, especially with James getting involved with Lucinda...(though I will grant him one of my fave scenes James in the Hughes kitchen lying out his teeth talking to Paul that he wanted him to grow up with the values that the Hughes have...with Kim with her mouth open and Nancy barely popping her eyes out..the Dobsons would never had James in the Hughes kitchen...)

Of course Buzzard had to be hogging in....what the hell was this deep friendship with Jenna too? Brown was supposedly put on recurring, why wasn't Nola around...(it almost seems that some of Jenna's scenes were written with Nola in mind, taking Matt's side at first and then coming around to Vanessa's side would have been much stronger with someone in the family and with history.

I think that they had a little too much zest to them and he had to sacrifice John to the altar of Snyder. He never was good at writing grey characters his villains were either cartoons or they reformed due to "twu love" and the need for "honesty" I have no idea how Lucinda survived all those years..but John got watered down..look at others..poor Lisa was strapped with "Earl" who despite being an agent was bland as hell....Tom and Margo lost all their sauce and became morose...

I remember back in the day, a poster on the old MD board called them the "Blister Sisters" but they meant it as a compliment, and I saw it for what it was...too drunk traitor trash mean girls teaming up and backing each other up...which would have been fine if people called them out on it, but they were always right. They had a chance when REva pulled the plug on Stiff Dickie but they glossed over that!

Great scene...John was upset that his old sparring partner wasn't up for it! Who WAS Ralph related to (I love that Lucy said the same thing...God I hate that Marland had to puss out and break up John and Lucy making mischief all over town) Ralph was so damn boring he made Whit the wig look good. That dialogue was so much better then Larry's "Well, he finds my wife as attractive as I do.." Okay, Lar..we still think your gay..

Dinah should have ALWAYS been angry and "bad" I would have originally written her as this carny girl who finds herself in a load of cash and then tries to emulate young Van..lording it over "River Rat" Harley,etc...to Van's chagrin. I can see characters changing, especially ill defined ones like Dinah...they just need to give a reason. As for Amanda...I know people are used to Cullens' drab version, but she was always chasing after men and having a mean girl background..she slept with her Mom's gross hubby so yea, she was no saint. Malibu Madame...no...but a mean girl who was not going to let ANYONE take her on, who had found her sensuality while away, yea, I can believe it.

And believe it or not...she kinda sorta wants to get with him, or at least have him fall for her like everyone else with a d*ck. She has a scene where she says something like "Oh, I thought you and I had something..." and Fletch is totally oblivious as he is love with Maeve. They were actually good together as buddies and I loved it when Reva had male friends who didn't want to bang (well, at least long term) and it makes sense that Reva would have guy friends more then women (Zimmer seems the kind of gal to like to go out with beers with guys instead of mimosas with the gals .)

This is a good scene...as dumb as Dinah obsessing over DuhHart and Cassie..characters that had NO chemistry...(you could always almost scene LW rolling her eyes at that greaseball) at least this was old fashioned soap, no clones, no time travel and no Reva. But it really makes you see how shallow the writing was and how much the talent was wasted...Moniz is looking GREAT here and they have reduced Dinah to an Annielike psycho....Dinah is always best when she shows that she actually does care about someone other then herself,, and not in a love triangle...GT showed affection to Bill and her dad and when they showed them her younger siblings...in a still broken way. Cynical conniving Dinah going after something she thinks she deserves is interesting...an unlikeable nut case is not. If only they had Matt and her screw so Van could toss them both out on their asses. And yes, having an amnesiac Van confronted with her spoiled whiney daughter would have been worth it...."Well, I always questioned if it was the right move to give you up, but I can see it is...tell me dear, did they keep you in the Freak Show section...as the Incredible Annoying Whining Girl?" PattiD was fired after trying as hard as she could to create a fan base for Buzz and Selena...(yes,there was a Suzz fanzine..made up of about 5 women who were really so pathetic it was sad...they would send Christmas Presents to Patti's kids ..one of her kids made a hilariously snide post something like "My Mom told me to thank the person who sent me that gift..so ...thanks..." ) By that time Zimmer had taken totally over as the queen of the show and Patti, desperately trying to appeal to the power structure jumped on a message board, where people were complaining about Jevas total domination of the show and Reva's stupid storyline and Patti told them to "BITE me!" so it was bye-bye Patti!)

Yes, Rauch told the actor that he had a story coming right when he told them he wanted to leave. I would have liked Drew and J together..it would have been fun to see Nola deal with a little B like she used to be...though it woudl have been more fun if she was social climber like Nola. Have soaps especially GL ever done a good record company story? WTH would a producer come to SF for talent and since he is black..he gets a name like "Sugar Hill."

That would be so much fun..and yes, Parker would have a grand time of it...(but be able to channel her inner warmth so we see she will be redeemed and it won't come out of nowhere.) Lana puts on the faux Mo and only Van is suspicious (and she resents Van's silver spoon..."Nola is right, you are nothing but an uptight b*tch!") I would not have her be "bad" but tough and able to adapt to circumstances to survive ("Everyone wants me to be my Saint of a sister, I will give them that until I can get out of town") I would have her in prison as she killed her abusive husband so Abby and she relate and she is protective of Abby and she begins to be so over Chelle. So she starts to consider making a life in SF. A past with Alan would be good, and she could have his kid (much better then that dumb nun.) Maybe the abusive husband knew about the kid and wants to sell the info to Alan leading to their argument when she accidentally pushes him down the stairs. Having her face off with Carmen would be great..."Look, you don't scare me Cruella...leave my niece alone..you're not the only one who knows how to use a gun."

I would think that was the direction they were going but knowing this crew maybe it was another clone. I would love to see Parker playing a tough as nails sister of Mo. I can see Van side eyeing her and everyone in town coming to her with their troubles and her not giving a damn..."These people are really screwed up!" I would love to have someone just tell Dinah to quit her whining! They could have set it up months in advance with Chelle finding a pic and thinking its Mo...Nola could say, "On not that's your Aunt Lana and while she resembles your mom she is nothing like her. " The character could befriend Abby in jail, come to town iwth her, and Chele is drawn to her and she reluctantly takes her under her wing. First she thinks she is going to play these people who think she is St. Mo, but then her inner Reardon comes out.

I remember E & B talking about bringing Parker back as a tough woman who got Mos heart who changed her face after hearing how loved she was...(okay.) Since boring useless Jessie got heart they couldn't do that, but they may have been thinking of bringing her in as the Selena role...now if they made her Mos sister that could have been interesting ..and better then Selena and Buzz..uggh.I wonder if Parker said no or Rauch got piseed that Parker stood up to him about the smoke machines when she was ghost Mo with Van after the baby.

It was dumb to retro write it back (and I was not loving Rick slipping with Blake and the twins thing, but they went there leave it, and under a skilled writer, it could have caused some good tension for years. Rick watching Ross raise his kid, he being "Uncle Rick" and if Ed was in the mix, torn between his kid and his best friend. Throw in Abby who wants to delay having kids to start a career and life. she never knew she could have..and Blake who is really not that into being a Mom...and you have nice slow boiling drama..yes, not clone drama and psycho of the week drama. It was done to make Annie always look EVIL and Jeva all good, but it made no sense, Annie was just as shocked as Blake and she had no animosity towards Rick.
