What a shame! It’s just a lie with money. I mean they lost two cast member who were eating up a lot of money coz they were in for more than a decade which should’ve given them some room to work with! Just like the stupid reason they gave for cancelling Holby City. BBC seems to want to get out of soap operas.. I think that they will keep EE for a bit but if the ratings won’t change and they make more income with it then it’s gone next! F the BBC

Ugh…. b BBC has axed “Doctors” which is on the air since 2000. The show started Classics from episode 1 in august… And now BBC has decided coz of the increased inflation in the drama category to cancel it. BUT it will get a proper finale. Last episode will be filmed in March 2024 and aired in December 2024! And that after twi of the longest running characters just left the show. Shouldn’t that have helped them to save some money? But hey. They axed Holby and now Doctors but put everything into EE

Not my beloved Lara Parker what is happening to the soap community:( so Many losses during the last 3 years

So I’ve watched the very first episode of “Die Landärztin” - the new soap of SAT1… I hate myself for enjoying it and getting invested! the cast has such natural chemistry and it kinda feels like “Sturm der Liebe” meets one of those medical shows from ZDF but in a good way.. Sarah is played by former AWZ actress Caroline Frier.. Her arrival with her daughter Leonie and her secret she wants to tell Fabian and all people she met didn’t even felt forced. It flowed organic and natural.. The whole cast and characters are so likeable and drawn u in. Fabian’s actor is played by Oliver Franck who was on GZSZ until a Couple of months ago.. We have one antagonist who is also Fabian’s father. It really fit well into the story and wasn’t overdone. i could really see this show succeed. That’s exactly what people would like on ARD/ZDF Networks. They compete against AWZ and I don’t see Landärztin succeed against it and SAT1 is the wrong network for it. but I will stick with it for the already 60 produced episodes. I really hope SAT1 won’t cancel it straight away like the last soap..

And I just wish Kim would finally be her old self and clear that mess up! KiM should get rid of them all

My favorite Soap “Plus Belle La Vie” got cancelled after 18 years and 4666 Episodes in November 2022 on France 3! BUT TF1 who airs YR etc. and has some own soap operas since like 2017 had bought the Show and will bring PBLV back in 2024 with new and old characters! U guys have no idea how hyped I am right now

Gemma is the most annoying and disgusting character this show ever created… If u have watched her for years u would’ve probably be annoyed too. She has her moments but she is just awful lol Chesney could do so much better

Ok. Thanks for clearing that up. But it may be on the cards. I Love Sina. Don’t get me wrong and she is a part of the Weigels for 13 years. But I do think a little break would do her character good tbh

I’m not quite sure when her material started.. 2021? I don’t know. Was the Darren kidnapping her fault? That was so bad but funny. i like the pairing of Ethan-Sienna for a while. But the rest was so boring and lazy. Not energetic. I mean I made it through 2005-2007 and some of bad actors on Oaks. But 2021-2022 was really boring with some highlights here and there but nothing memorable. 2023 has been a snoozefest tbh

Oh god. The Dingles won again? Bruh.. That‘s not even funny anymore. i hate the Dingles as much as I hate the McQueens from Hollyoaks. I don’t know why the think they have to push those two family’s so hard? I liked the Dingles for a while but there is nothing they could give me right now that would interest me.. Same goes to the damn McQueens. I loved the OG MCQueens but all those wannabe McQueens ain’t even iconic as their former counterparts

Sina‘s actress is taking a break from UU for a while. It was announced two days ago.. soooo. Paco is like the only Weigel left lol oh wait… Cilly is a Weigel too. I hate UU so much right now. I’m really thinking about giving it up. Last time I was this struggling with UU was 2004-05. Rufus and Romy 1 were so annoying.. On AWZ- Chiara‘s actress is taking also a break. The only reason for me to watch AWZ was Chiara. AWZ has been dead for a while tbh. Gzsz had its moments during the past few months but I’m not feeling it right now
