  1. I’ve watched soaps long enough to know that you give new headwriters at least 6 months to clean up prior headwriters storylines while starting your own storylines and get the new stories moving. This headwriting team (Cwikly/Ford) has been in place for almost a year. Epic fail! The stories are so boring. After a year, Days should be popping with new energy after Ron Carlivati. That hasn’t happened. Cwikly/Ford write scenes. They don’t write stories. Days is in sad shape and never in Peacock’s Top 10. None of this matters as Days tapes almost a year ahead. I can’t imagine another year of these headwriters boring storylines.
  2. Great interview with Ron. I know he’s not done with daytime. It’s good to see so many positive comments on the you tube channel. His work is missed by many.
  3. So @carolineg do you have an issue with my stating facts that Leo tests very well? (From GH thread that got derailed). Why do you think that Days constantly writes for Leo?
  4. If you go back, when Vee doesn’t like someone going off topic, he will call them out. Guza hasn’t been at GH in well over a decade and a half so I’m calling that out. As for March 2026 GH, on topic, Ric is the character who keeps me tuned in. Rick Hearst has chemistry with everyone. I want to know the backstory of the mystery baby. For starters. And I actually like Britt and find her interesting.
  5. You should apologize. You bet I watch GH!
  6. Just pointing out that @Vee loves to think he knows Frank’s every thought. He doesn’t.
  7. 99.9 percent of what Vee says is wrong. Vee does not know what Frank wants. If you look back at Vee’s posts about Frank, he is so wrong!
  8. @vee @carolineg Please stick to the topic. GH March 2026. Guza is irrelevant.
  9. Andrew with the bad mole is back. Ugh. Cannot stand him.
  10. Days is so ridiculous. The writers have been there for almost a year yet nothing interesting happens. The kidnapping is ridiculous. So dumb.
  11. The jealousy of Greg. SMH. I’m sure that Greg does not have the power to book who appears on this successful podcast, but if he does, all the more power. This podcast has really improved so much. Must watch every week. Who didn’t like the tea that Jackee spilled this week? Juicy. Looking forward to all the upcoming episodes, especially Ron Carlivati. The haters will be watching. lol
  12. Very much enjoyed Leo in drag (again) yesterday. He cracks me up. Hubby doesn’t watch the show and he laughed when I showed him the Leo scenes. Always entertaining and as always, you can tell that Peter and Greg love working together and make the most of the material. The rest - blah! No interest in Lexie back from the dead. The kidnapping is cliche. Owen couldn’t feel Stephanie reaching for his phone? Silly writing.
  13. Go Brad Bell! He’s the longest serving headwriter in daytime history and he has toppled Y&R in the important 18-49 demos.
  14. We can only hope that Cwikly and Ford have been fired during the year between writing and airdate. Days is so bad. Lexie??? Really? Bad decisions by those in charge.
  15. Very intrigued by the pod storyline. I don’t do spoilers so I have no idea who is in there. Enjoying Noel Maxim’s stuff so far.
  16. It was definitely a studio space move that got rid of Hartford House. While still on CBS, P&G moved the show out of the CBS Broadcast Center into a tiny studio on West 81st St, Reeves Teletape studio. I got a glimpse at their soundstage from an actress on the show at the time. Very small studio.
  17. Don’t ever forget that Spellman- Drucker was there the entire time that Albert Alarr was wreaking havoc and she did nothing to stop it. She was looking at retirement. Alarr was Co-EP and she was Supervising Producer. She supervised what was going on. Good riddance. Welcome Noel.
  18. Yes. And you tried to tell me last week that it would be March or April. It’s still February. You were way off on that one! Regardless, I’m thrilled Spellman-Drucker is gone. She was useless and just bided her time until retirement. Good riddance!
  19. Days Of Our Lives has never been as bad as it is now! The writing is ridiculous with Cwikly and Ford. There aren’t any stories. There are scenes. And the scenes are so contrived and ridiculous. Bad writing and the executives who have allowed this share the blame. Days is never in Peacock’s Top shows. When Carlivati wrote the show, Days was almost always in the Top 10. We all know that Ron Carlivati has created his own soap and selling it to Peacock. How ironic would it be that Days gets cancelled when its contract is up and Ron’s soap replaces it. Come on Days. Do better. The show sucks.
  20. Once again, Greg and Peter show how much they love working together, despite the terrible writing. They make their scenes work. I can see that Peter came back specifically to work with Greg and he’s having a good time trying to sell crap writing.
  21. I blame Janet Spellman-Drucker too. She’s the day to day EP who oversees this mess. She cannot be gone soon enough.
  22. Correct. An answer saying “I don’t know the answer”.
  23. Yeah but I was looking for an actual answer.
  24. Very refreshing to see 2 actors who obviously love working together, Greg and Peter, be the center of the episode today. Very enjoyable! The story sucks because of the incompetent headwriters but Greg and Peter make it work. As opposed to the icy scenes on Friday with actors who should put aside their personal feelings and do their job. Act. When the heck is Spellman-Drucker gone?? She’s been useless, on so many levels.
