I genuinely do not think we will be; I feel like if Amazon MGM were ending their link, we would've known by now, because April 2025 marks two-years since production began on the revival/continuation. Plus, based on what I've seen, it looks like production values have [finally] begun to improve.

I genuinely do not believe Amazon MGM Studios will cut the cord on Neighbours. It tends to rank in the top ten on Amazon, and even received Daytime Emmy Award nominations. That alone is worth its continuation; I am sure the initial two-year deal was to give it a chance, but I don't see them ditching the serial. And I'm seeing that shortening the episodes from 4/week to 3/week until December to ensure episodes broadcast through the end of 2024, etc. Seems like a pre-calculated move that production was aware of.

Yeah, I'll likely catch up tomorrow.... I chose EastEnders and Emmderdale last Sunday, haha.

The accent was gone by the end of the episode; again, when she snaps or is even startled, the accent is turned on and in that moment, her accent snapped on. Not the first time it's happened since the Robin Finch episodes. 👍🏻 As evident from the September 17 episode, where Lois clearly did not have an accent, until she was heated and it "turned on". and then by the end of the episode, the accent was "off":

Well, whenever Lois is mad or upset, her "New York" accent comes out.... 🤐
