The results of Victoria's car accident (and the other cars/characters involved). (supposedly) three separate cars. Each had one driver and no passengers. 1. Victoria in first car. 2. Ashland in second car who was supposedly following her. 3. Rey was supposedly in the oncoming car. In the previous episode, Rey realized he had left the hockey tickets in his other jacket at Sharon&Rey's home. He left Chelsea and Connor at Crimson Lights and went home to get them. At the end of this episode, we learn that Chance had received a phonecall from Rey. Rey had successfully retrieved the hockey tickets from Sharon&Rey's home and was on his way back to Crimson Lights to meet Chelsea and Connor. (That's all we know about Rey until the very end of this episode) This episode starts with: We see Victoria temporarily unconscious in her crashed car. The car has hit a tree. We see Ashland in a different crashed car, nearby. Ashland sees that Victoria's car has caught on fire. Ashland tries to call for help from his phone but it seemingly doesn't work. (I think he's trying to get a signal but he could be turning his phone off for all I know). He tosses the phone aside. Ashland rescues Victoria. Brings her to a (convenient) random empty cabin nearby. His hand looks burned (supposedly from opening her car door which was hot from the fire), but it's hard to say what's real here. Victoria very soon regains consciousness. Has an injured knee only. Her mind is fully aware. Her first reaction to seeing Ashland is "Get the F away from me!". He starts telling her what happened. She knows he's a lying a-hole. He tells her to lie still. She won't. She wonders why the police aren't there. He says his phone broke in the crash. Victoria looks for her phone and doesn't have it on her. Ashland says he'll go to look for her phone inside her burning car, and exits the cabin. As soon as he leaves, she tries to stand up, but her knee won't let her. Ashland comes back and says he couldn't find her phone. The discuss the accidents. At one point, she notices his burned hand which he says he got from opening her hot car door. She sarcastically/scathingly says something like she's shocked he'd actually do anything nice. He has not won her over. The kicker to Ashland's story is this: He reminds Victoria of his shady past -- that many years ago, the *REAL* Ashland Locke was his friend who died in a car crash with him. He left his friend in the burning car and stole his identity. So now he tells Victoria that he couldn't repeat that so he had to rescue her from her burning car. She's still skeptical. They discuss the accidents. He tells her little bits of it. He doesn't want her to worry her little head about it, and tells her to lie still. She's angry. He keeps hiding from her the details of the accidents, and she keeps confronting him to just tell her everything. She's pissed off. She says she knows he lies and hides things. Eventually, in pieces, he tells his whole story. Ashland tells Victoria this elaborate story. (in bits and pieces): He says he was worried about Victoria after their argument (i.e. after she angrily dumped him LOL). He noticed that she was upset and that the weather was foggy, so he decided to follow her. He says he didn't want the fog to hurt her the way he had hurt her. (really!) Victoria remembers that there were oncoming headlights in her face just before she crashed. The oncoming car had gone into her lane and was about to hit her. Ashland says she swerved to avoid that car and that's when she hit the tree. Ashland then says that because he had been following her car, the oncoming car was headed right at him. He said that this oncoming car clipped Ashland's car, and then went into a ditch. He doesn't want to say more. Victoria insists that he tell ALL of it. Then he claims to have checked on the driver of the car in the ditch. He says the driver was dead. Victoria knows he's hiding more and tells him to say it. He tells her the dead driver is Rey. But ... The only thing the viewers are shown are Victoria and Ashland in separate crashed cars. We don't see how Ashland crashed. We see only that he had crashed. We see only him in a crashed car. And then he gets out of his car to rescue Victoria. We see that somebody's car headlights were shining in Victoria's face - but that car was not shown. The viewers do not see the car in the ditch. The viewers do not see Ashland check on the car. Rey and his car are not shown to the viewers at all. I don't know if Ashland is telling the truth about Rey or Rey's car. I still don't really know what happened with Rey. Are they really going to have him die offscreen because he was in the wrong lane due to fog? Srsly?

I just looked again at all the GH spoilers and videos for week of April 18th. Here are my thoughts. Spencer won't let the young women Trina and Josslyn know about his plot to take down Esme. And brawls with Cameron to stop him from blurting it out? Really? I get that he's being protective but .. dude. Trina can handle it. If Marshall was never in Witness Protection, then who is he? An undercover agent? A mobster? Sonny going back into mob storylines? Ugh. The character has only been interesting to me for the FIRST time since he ever appeared on the show ... in the past year when he wasn't doing mob stuff. I don't want to see that crap again. Are they going to do mob wars with Sonny, Ms. Wu, and Marshall? Or will all the mobsters cooperate politely about their respective territories? General Hospital is so much better without mob storylines. Sigh. I love Laura/Felicia/Anna/Robert. The Ice Princess mystery is only a little interesting but I love these vets working together. I don't think Valentin fits.

Susan says she remembered Diane as being sassy and not evil. She received an email from the show listing all of Diane's bad deeds. She was surprised to read them all. She says Diane wants to redeem herself. Susan says that Diane has made horrible mistakes, and feels horrible about them, and is truly trying to make amends. Susan adds (quote) "But I don't think that means that she's had a personality swap with anybody totally nice." Susan says she wants to make Diane sassy again. Peter says he was off the show for a few weeks recovering from eye surgery, when the show contacted him to tell him that Diane was coming back. He was thrilled. He seems excited about the Kyle story and is glad to work with Mealor again. Peter hints that Jack and Kyle will disagree about Diane.

Siblings Eric and Belle share scenes! I hope Eric can share insight with Belle about Shawn's perspective as a male rape victim (because Eric was raped by Kristen when she drugged him). But ... the whole Belle/Shawn/Jan mess is devil-caused so again another spoiler that's part of the possession.

Ashland explains why he decided to fake cancer in the Tuesday 19 April US episode (Already aired Monday 18 April in Canada). It's a lame answer but there you go.

I noticed that week of 25 April mentions none of the characters featured in the previous week's double-wedding nonsense. Abigail, Gwen, Xander, Leo, Craig, Nancy, Bonnie. I'm glad to let all that go. (I love Nancy but I want better storylines for her.) I don't see Brady or Chloe mentioned, either. And suddenly we're back to a week of possession nonsense. The wedding stuff ends on Thursday 21 April and then DAYS shifts abruptly into possession stuff on Friday 22 April. I love Price/Grant/Carver family stuff. But ... When TR first arrived in Salem, he didn't know that Lani is his biological daughter. I don't even think he knew Paulina was living in Salem. TR arrived in Salem because he's the producer of the possession movie. And he hired his ex (Beth) to play Celeste. So his presence is Salem is possession-related.

Why are Teriah having a 1970s-themed wedding? It was Noah's idea of course. The show is written that Tessa's semi-stalker Noah has to give his input on everything and Teriah have to tell Noah he has wonderful ideas. (gag) It's really offensive.

Peeking - does that mean that the Hayes are going to watch BeyondSalem2 on Peacock, but not appear in it? Or does it mean they pop in for a brief scene? I'm confused.

Update on Rey: Just saw clips of Monday 4/18 Canadian (Tues 4/19 US). Rey is at Crimson Lights with Connor and Chelsea, and they are getting ready to leave for the hockey game in Chicago. They discuss this with Sharon. For safety reasons they decide it would be best for Rey/Chelsea/Connor to stay over in a hotel in Chicago, instead of driving back late at night. Sharon agrees with this. Sharon even packs food and coffee for them to take with them. They are getting ready to leave. Rey realizes he left the hockey tickets in his other jacket, which is at home. He decides to drive off alone to go get the tickets. Before he leaves he has playful flirty banter with Sharon. Rey says he'll be right back. Sharon and Rey exchange I-love-yous and he leaves. Also on Monday 4/18 Canadian (Tues 4/19 US). Victoria tells Ashland she knows he was lying and that she faked it until he signed the agreement to annul their marriage and leave the company, and she gets him to admit he was lying about his illness. He says he still loves her and she says he's still lying, etc etc etc (everything already described in the spoiler write-up earlier in this thread). She is still in her Newman CEO office. He leaves the room. She takes the portrait of herself off the wall (the portrait Ashland had given her), and she smashes the portrait angrily. Then a distraught Victoria drives off in her car. The special effects seem to indicate that the weather is beginning to get foggy. (There are some white swirls in the air around the car). Victoria quickly pushes a button on her dashboard to activate a phonecall and says "Call mom's mobile" - a voice command for her car to call her mother. Victoria has both hands on the wheel as she speaks to Nikki on speakerphone (like in the promo video). Victoria says she's okay. Then admits that she's disappointed in herself for choosing the wrong men. Nikki can tell Victoria is distraught and tells her to pull over and park the car by the side of the road and that Nikki and Victor will come pick her up. But before she can pull over, a bright light shines (presumably someone's headlights) and Victoria's car crash begins, and the episode ends. It looks to me like someone was going to hit her head on. She leans to the side as the crash happens. There was nothing that would indicate Rey gets in an accident - if you didn't know. But we know Jordi leaves this week or next week, so the anvils seemed very apparent. They made a point of Rey driving off just before Victoria gets in her accident. I think that might be Sharon and Rey's final scene together (unless they have a hospital scene or whatever). What a waste. If you didn't know Jordi was leaving, you'd think that the show was setting up the affair with Rey and Chelsea beginning to get closer on their overnight trip to Chicago with Connor. But I don't think Rey ever gets to Chicago.

Peter Bergman & Susan Walters were on The Talk today April 18. No spoilers from them. They said Mealor(Kyle) is coming but gave no details. The Talk always promoting CBS shows. And as part of the promotion, host Natalie Morales announced that Michael Mealor returns Monday April 25. I guess that's when Kyle shows up in Genoa City (instead of via video chat from Italy).

Teriah have planned a 1970s-themed wedding for Friday the 13th of May. Yes Friday the 13th. I believe it was filmed on April 8th. If Rey dies, (and I don't know if he dies or leaves town)... how will Sharon be up to doing a wedding so soon thereafter?

Peter Reckell, his wife Kelly Moneymaker, and their daughter moved from New Zealand to Alaska a few months ago. Kelly is producing a film in Alaska.

Good so that means it's not the whole cast list yet.

They discuss their agreement, that Curtis will allow her to have gambling in The Savoy, in exchange for a favor he had asked her about Marshall. Ms. Wu updates Curtis that did as he requested: she got her people to illegally search Witness Protection records to find out more about Marshall. Ms. Wu tells Curtis that the result of the search was that Marshall was *never* in Witness Protection.

Week 18 April - Anna and Valentin reconnect Anna has already returned to Port Charles from French Polynesia. Now Valentin returns. Neither is aware that they had both been on the islands. Valentin goes to visit Anna with a bottle of wine to woo her. He feels bad that he has been out of town for so long and unable to be supportive of Anna. He knows that she needed to allow Peter to die, and that she might have had some residual stress about that mess, but he wasn't around if she did. They discuss this. Valentin does not reveal to Anna that he had interactions with Jennifer Smith about the Ice Princess. Anna comments that Valentin has been out of town for a very long time, and that he has a suntan. He claims to have been ill and was away convalescing. She is aware that he's not telling everything, obviously, but she inwardly allows him the space to have his secrets. The article hints at romantic vibes happening but there are no specifics mentioned.

I've seen lots of speculations (on twitter/messageboards etc) that there might be more than one car accident the same GenoaCity day. Maybe that's what Victoria swerves to avoid? another car? or maybe she swerves to avoid an accident that had just occurred? Maybe Rey dies in one of the cars, or he dies rescuing someone. Just speculations. I think the speculating comes from these things: Jordi said his final scenes were taped around 22 March so they should air during week of 25 April (if things were filmed in order). The buildup of Rey/Chelsea/Connor planning to go to the hockey game in Chicago, and then the mysterious spoiler "Sharon experiences déjà vu." And Missy Claire Egan posting 24 March (and then deleting) a picture of a prop that is Chelsea's driver license. Maybe Chelsea is driving in another car? Maybe she's not driving? She could be a passenger who is temporarily unconscious (but fine) and they search her purse to check her ID. Then again, all those clues could be red herrings. Maybe Rey goes to Florida to visit family and dies offscreen. Maybe Chelsea shows her ID to buy booze at the hockey game. Maybe Sharon experiences déjà vu about the coffee at Crimson Lights.
