I noticed this today: Some soap twitter accounts that were taken down for soundtrack copyright strikes or video copyright strikes -- I saw today they were reinstated yesterday or today within a few hours of requesting reinstatement, which is nice but ... I'd rather lose the soap twitter than have bigots and political liars reinstated.

Yes. The November episodes were written much earlier in the year, assuming they'd air on NBC and that there would be the annual Thanksgiving preemption. The shift to Peacock meant that there would be no preemption. So they added an "insert episode", so that that Christmas and other special occasions would stream on the correct dates. It seems like Wed. Nov. 23 and Thurs. Nov. 24 were originally one episode, and they filmed some extra scenes - or filmed an entire extra episode -- and then moved things around and split it in half. Or they filmed extra scenes, and rearranged scenes from the entire week. Something like that.

Regarding whether to leave twitter or not - I don't tweet anyhow. I just know how to search and read public tweets. For myself, I don't want to be subjected to reading whatever bigotry materializes due to Elon's insanity. And all the privacy and impersonation issues. I'm trying out "Post". It's still in beta form but it feels like twitter, with a focus on reading and discussing interesting news and ideas. That's my main interest anyhow. If you want to try it out, the wait isn't as long as I would have expected, given the first emails they sent me saying how big was the waiting list. I didn't have to refer people like it mentions in the article in TheWrap. There is a second validation email to activate later on ... after you get moved from wait list to regular member. *** Note that they are still in beta so there will be glitches and bugs. And I have no idea how secure it is. .

I don't understand what you mean by "it guy" in this context. I don't consider Victor, Sonny, Jason, or Todd to be "leading men". I consider them to be disgusting villains I loathed and fast forwarded through! Yes I know Victor Newman was featured as the star at times, but I don't consider him a leading man, I still consider him a villain. To me, a leading man is someone I care about. I loathed those guys. To me, an "it girl" or "it guy" is someone with charisma AND an attractive personality -- someone I would want to be around! They don't have to be perfect but they shouldn't be villains!

The significant news is the Alaska Senate race. We knew a Republican would win, but it wasn't clear which Republican it would be. The main candidates were: Lisa Murkowski - Republican Kelly Tshibaka - Republican Patricia Chesbro - Democrat None of the candidates got over 50% of the vote so it went to ranked-choice votes. Today November 23, the ranked choice vote count determined that Murkowski won. This is a victory because Murkowski defeated the Trump-backed Tshibaka. https://www.adn.com/politics/2022/11/23/alaska-us-sen-lisa-murkowski-wins-reelection/ This doesn't affect what we already knew to be the total balance/count of Democrat vs. Republican senators in the US Senate; because it was already known that one of the Republicans would win the Alaska senate seat. The Senate elections are still at 49 Republicans, and 50 Democrats, with Georgia to be decided in the Dec. 6 runoff. We need Warnock to win the runoff, in order for the Senate to be effective.

I am curious to see if Moses is even remembered in the future. Even when teen Moses was on the show, he had scenes with Devon and Faith. But I think he had only one or two scenes with Lily the entire time. You'd never know Moses was Lily's brother. In the past few months, the show seemed to have made a point of Nate stating that Devon was too attached to Neil and Neil's visions for the company ... as if Devon needs to move on from Neil the man. Devon had a bunch of recent scenes remembering Neil - but it was kind of a farewell in his mind. And now they're having Devon connect with Tucker.

In the dialog yesterday, Daniel told Lily that he and Heather were ... something, (he was vague) but the way he said it, the implication was that he and Heather are distanced/strained. He said that Heather and Lucy were currently in Europe somewhere. And Daniel seems interested in working for Chancellor-Winters.

I'm just making a general statement, and not specific to any of these shootings. Whenever *any* of these mass shootings happen, I respect it when the news media honors the names and lives of the people who were killed or injured -- and gives very little attention/focus to the shooter's name and life. The shooters seek attention, so I appreciate it when they are denied attention. The news must be reported about the name of the shooter, but I don't want to see the shooter's name in the headline or their face on the front page. It's fine if the shooter is called out as a bigot or an extremist -- as a part of the general problem in society -- because that needs to be discussed. But I don't want the person's name getting headlines.

Yeah. Especially that actor. He also complained when the show started to explore a Cane/Traci relationship. Beth Maitland's comments about the situation were indirect and polite - but it was obvious she was indicating that he tanked it.
