ALL: What are your lost soap media "holy grails" for 2025?
The late 60's through early 80's was truly Days of Our Lives "Lost Decade." This era packed some incredible storylines - Tommy Horton's return from death and shocking affair with his sister, the Mickey-Bill-Laura love triangle, Susan-Julie-David's drama, Linda Anderson's arc, Mickey and Maggie's affair, and of course, Stefano DiMera's game-changing arrival in Salem. Not to forget Mickey's faked death in '83. Hope we get to see these episodes someday!

Mary Anderson had it all - family drama, business intrigue, multiple romances, and a tragic end. It's fascinating how she went from being accidentally shot by her own mother to marrying Alex who only wanted her company, and finally meeting her fate at the hands of the Salem Strangler. Mary Anderson is definitely from that 'lost decade' era of Days of Our Lives where there's very little surviving footage. It's a shame because her storylines sound pretty dramatic - especially that whole corporate takeover plot and the Salem Strangler murder. Would've been interesting to see how different actresses portrayed her character over the years too.- Y&R: Old Articles

I’ve noticed scenes from the ’70s popping up in flashbacks and special YouTube clips, which got me thinking - production could totally start releasing those full episodes to the public. Fans would absolutely love it! For example, the flashbacks of Bill Horton’s jail time with Doug when he passed away, or when Susan Seaforth Hayes and Suzanne Rogers share their incredible history together. These moments are pure gold - releasing the full episodes would be such a gift for longtime fans!- Y&R: December 2024 Discussion Thread
