My least favorite kind of storyline on a soap: when everything gets wrapped up in a nice, neat little bow and completely forgotten about. Apparently, some 🍆 can cure people’s insecurities 😂😂 And it did kind of ruin Allie even more for me. Her grandmothers are in the hospital dying and she’s more concerned with having a threesome. I hate Allie. I might have fallen into RC’s biphobic trap but I don’t care 😂😂 From a storyline perspective, maybe it would’ve been better if the threesome hadn’t happened. It could have led to more conflict between Allie and Chanel, which would have been much better to see than this stuff with Sloan’s mother. Even for Alex too. The three of them could have been about to do it, but then Alex thinks of Stephanie and backs out. It would have given him some humanity, which he still is lacking in 😂 Plus, in the future, he and Stephanie could be arguing over Chad and Alex could’ve thrown that in her face. The writers are rushing through everything and it’s really hurting the show and the characters. If I was writing it, the Tripp/Allie/Chanel/Johnny quad would still be going on.

Usually, I’m not a fan of cockblocking but I’m totally here for Chad doing it to Stephanie and Alex. He should’ve brought the kids with him and had a family bonding moment with her right in front of Alex 😂😂 I see they’re trying to make Alex the good guy by having him not being upset with Chad, but we all know it’s too little too late. As for Will and Sonny, their scenes might as well have been copy and pasted from Beyond Salem, only with the roles reversed. I almost expected Will to sucker punch Leo. What has happened to Sonny? Zach Tinker was a breath of fresh air when he first came on, one of the biggest reasons being was that you could tell that his Sonny really and truly loved Will. This is not Sonny. Zach’s been wasted on a horrible storyline that NOBODY wants. If he did walk, I honestly don’t blame him. I’m sure every single person on this board could come up with a better storyline for Sonny than what we’re seeing right now. Yep 😂😂 In 1993, when I was 1. You would think that TV would be less restrictive now than it was when I was a baby 😂😂

It was nice that Stephanie didn't have to spend Christmas all alone, but you know, she could have just spent Christmas at the pub with Uncle Roman and Aunt Kate, just sayin 😂😂 And, if a video game system is the most thoughtful and romantic that anyone's ever given her, then poor Stephanie's led a pretty sad life. Too bad that Victor's last scenes ended up being with Leo. And were of him being shamed by Sonny. And considering Victor's dialogue, why are they writing Will as the one who would be angry and hurt that Leo is still around and Sonny as his would-be defender? Have they already forgotten Beyond Salem, where it was the exact opposite? If this [!@#$%^&*]'s gonna happen, which I still hope and pray that it doesn't, at least make it make sense. Zach did look cute though and I imagine that he would look cute in Leo's gift too. And welcome back, Will. We've missed you 😊😊 I also really like this Sarah/Bonnie friendship that's been building up lately. It's unexpected but really enjoyable. I think LG's been doing better too. In so many scenes in her first years, she would often come off as snobby and condescending, even in scenes with Maggie. She seems to have finally dropped that quirk. And yes, the tribute to John Aniston was beautiful. One of the best tributes I've ever seen on Days. It was funny and heartfelt, and really showed the range of John Aniston's acting talents and Victor's characterization and personality. Things like that are what makes Days what it is. When the show is written with heart, and not as some mean spirited reality show ripoff, that's when it's the most likable and enjoyable. Peacock money well spent!
