  1. I just happened to be on Instagram when I saw a photo of Michael Gross (Family Ties and ex-River Baldwin—The Young and the Restless) with Finn Carter (ex-Sierra Esteban Reyes Montgomery—As the World Turns) at Niagara Falls Comic Con. Also posted in the As The World Turns thread too.

  3. Some kind soul has uploaded all three seasons of Once and Again (1999-2002) starring Sela Ward and Billy Campbell. Season One Season Two Season Three
  4. I'm still hoping that Leslie turns out to be Sharon's daughter. As I think it could bring another dynamic to the show and the Duprees eventually will need a rival family. I said Dorian Harewood on Twitter would be good for Dante Green too.
  5. Telma Hopkins Jonelle Allen Tonya Pinkins
  6. I'm getting the sense that something happened between Anita and Dante Green that wasn’t exactly copacetic, to say the least. I wonder — did he promise her fame and fortune as a solo artist, and then attack her when she rebuffed his advances? I hope it’s not a long-lost child plot lurking out there for her. Maybe she left behind an sibling in poverty or something instead, back in Cabrini-Green/Chicago. It does seem like neither Tracy nor Sharon’s solo careers turned out the way they dreamed — both ended up singing at City Wineries. I still think Leslie is connected to the Duprees — maybe her mother is Sharon, and she's going after the Duprees because she believes she could’ve had their lifestyle if things had gone differently for her mom. She does have ties to Chicago. That said, I hope this is the last disguise from her toolbox for a while — I’d hate for that to get played out. But I do wonder if she’s going to use Nicole 2.0 to frame Nicole for something down the line? I’m all for giving Shanice more time on canvas, and I wouldn’t hate it if she and Andre became an item — someone who doesn’t mind being public, unlike Dani. Or I can see Doug finally getting fed up with their arrangement and turning to the nurse for some “relief.” Vanessa was, in a way, telling herself off in those scenes with Ted about his cheating. And I have to say, Keith Robinson’s Ted brings a broader range of emotion than Maurice Johnson’s did — though I think Ted 2.0 is benefitting from better writing than OG Ted, whose arc relied more on MJ’s charisma and physical presence. That said, as someone else pointed out, Keith looks like he’s drowning in the clothes they’ve got him in. Hopefully, they’ve got some better-fitted attire lined up now.
  7. I think what they're doing with Hayley being isolated with Bill goes back to when he wanted her to quit her job at the firm and become a “Real Housewife of Fairmont Crest.” But we've seen she hasn’t, so she should be out there mingling—maybe with Caroline—or deciding to join some league or chapter, involving Dani, Anita, or Nicole. I also wouldn’t mind seeing her in more scenes with Derek, since she’s one of the few people who can make him tolerable and less dull. Or what if she bonds with Eva? They’re both outsiders in the community and constantly made to feel like trash by the Duprees. I’d love to have my theory finally come to light—that Leslie’s mother is actually Sharon. Maybe Leslie is bitter toward Nicole and the rest of the Duprees because she believes her mother should’ve had the kind of fame and fortune Anita has if things had gone differently, especially if her mother had the vocals—i.e. Dreamgirls, Effie. I remember Leslie saying she listened to the Articulettes growing up, and she also mentioned she lived in Chicago—where, guess what? The Articulettes are from.
  8. I would have it come out that Dani was pregnant with Naomi while her career was still on the rise, and the idea of a Dupree having a baby out of wedlock would be scandalous, and Bill, who was starting out in his career, received pressure from Vernon/Anita to do the "honorable thing" and marry her and in exchange Vernon promised to help his new son-in-law out with his legal career.
  9. Randomly came across this while on Instagram, but Shelly Burch (Delilah Ralston) and Danielle Harris (Sammi Garretson) are going to be on The Locher Room on May 20 at 7:30 PM EST.
  10. I said this on Twitter on Friday when Leslie mentioned Chicago, so perhaps she might be related to one of Anita's bandmates. In addition, Leslie did say she grew up listening to The Articulettes too.
  11. For my old school Hollyoaks peeps Helen Noble (Abby Davies) recently reunited with her on-screen father Barny Clevely (Arthur Davies)
  12. Even if they don't want to use Real or bring in a recast, at least on recurring they could have Trina mentioned she spoke to her dad, "Taggert," and he decided to get himself together by moving to Texas to be closer to Gia/her family.
  13. Constance McCashin recently uploaded a photo of her, William Devane, and Nicollette Sheridan as they spent this past Easter weekend together.
  14. What is that old saying? You can't please everybody. I'm still enjoying BTG, but I do see some issues that already have been pointed out. But hopefully we'll see some improvement coming soon as it has been teased.
  15. I don't know if this episode had been uploaded or not before, but the Pannoni channel did yesterday.
  16. You wouldn't have a link or access to that bible, would you?
  17. Oh, I agree with you 100% regarding Ashley. We know her mother, Jan, raised Ashley as a single mother. Perhaps Jan was involved with Joey, and he could be her biological father? Imagine Upstanding Nurse Ashley having biological ties to Fairmont Crest's seediest criminal. Meanwhile, Derek can get killed off during November sweeps, and I wouldn't shed a tear; he's that uninteresting. And I do wish they would develop a friendship between Ted and Doug since they're both doctors and have connections. It could also be where they confide in each other about their issues too. I also want some of the Dupree family connections explained. Andre has had more scenes with Ted and Nicole than their own son. I wonder if it's because they were busy with their careers and societal obligations to pay attention to Martin, hence why he's closer to Vernon and Anita. And someone on Twitter had mentioned it should be a rivalry between the male Richardson cousins over that, and I would be here for that too. I'm still enjoying the Eva vs. Kat rivalry going on though; that fantasy with Kat and Tomas was cringe galore. And the actor who plays him contributed greatly to that. I said this on Twitter yesterday, but is Darnell Williams still teaching acting? Maybe he could go down to the ATL for some sessions. And Joey and Vanessa do have chemistry, as I suspect Joey's motives toward her aren't fully altruistic, as this is a way to twist a knife into Doug.
  18. I would love to see a 30-minute soap on ABC akin to Melrose Place and the German soap "Unter Uns" centering on the family that owns an apartment building; also, the smaller apartment can have young adults starting out in the world and other diverse residents staying there and working in the neighborhood. And with maybe about ten to fifteen sets, it could keep costs down and have about two to three daytime vets playing key roles and the rest being new to the genre too. Also, you could always write out characters when actors want to leave or if its storyline dictated.
  19. Speaking of William Devane and John Pleshette. Constance McCashin have uploaded some recent photos of herself, William and John and a few others you might recognize.
  20. Mitch S just uploaded Roya Megnot's last scene and Lisa Peluso's first scene as Ava Rescott.
  21. I've been hoping we get more scenes with Ted and Doug for that reason.
  22. Please join us for an exclusive live episode of The Locher Room on Wednesday, March 12th, at 7:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. PT, featuring a heartfelt reunion between real-life friends and former co-stars Suzy Cote Ciccolini and Jocelyn Seagrave.
  23. Vernon. Clifton Davis played Reuben Gregory on Amen.
  24. Like I said on Twitter earlier, I wouldn't mind if Hayley and Smitty somehow befriended each other, knowing what it's like to have their men trying to put them in the background so they can have the spotlight. And Hayley also has Caroline? Bill's assistant at the firm is friends with her. I hope we have more scenes of them together too. And I think Hayley does need more of a bite, especially in scenes with Dani. And after today's episode, maybe it's heading that way?
  25. An episode of Loving has been recently uploaded from October 5, 1989. And in the beginning a piece of pop culture history news segment too.
