  1. Thanks for posting! Those are pretty solid numbers for Potomac. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure this is the first premiere that stood on it's own with no lead-in. Usually Potomac always premieres with Atlanta, M2M or a Shahs lead-in. Let's hope they can keep it up. NYC tanked a few weeks ago, but I think it had more to do with it being over the long July 4th holiday weekend more than anything. The numbers are back up to their season average and it's been just slightly above those Potomac numbers - hovering around the 0.4 / 1.3 million marks. BH is having a pretty good year - usually always first in Wed cable ratings, hovering around 0.6 / 1.6 million marks. I'd have to fact check this, but I feel like the ratings are higher this season on average than last season.
  2. The finale lip sync was awful too. I'm happy with the winner - much deserved IMO - but what a lackluster finale.
  3. NYC was really good last night, because it finally featured some sobering storyline moments - Luann with the former convicts - Leah and her sister - etc. I thought Ramona totally overreacted, which just fueled Sonja/Leah to act the way they did. I thought Sonja was disrespectful from the jump though - I get her issues, but do it on another night that isn't Ramona's birthday party. Finally watching BH - I think I believe most of what Brandi said, but I think it's real f'ed up of her to throw Denise under the bus like that. She clearly is selfish and took the opportunity to be a big figure on this season over keeping her friendship with Denise. I do think she was likely coaxed by the producers, Kim and Kyle to do it though. She's not a good friend to choose airtime over friendship.
  4. Man, AMC was SO good in the 90s. That entire decade had me hooked.
  5. Ok that NYC episode was hilarious. Dorinda and the cigarette, Ramona and the clogged toilet, Lu drinking again... loved seeing Holla Heather and her cute husband again too.
  6. Yeah, Gina from the OC posted a pic with her luggage and initially said the group is taking a mini-vacation somewhere, but then got a ton of COVID backlash, so she removed the picture and reposted it with a different caption. I wonder where they'll be going on this 'mini-vacation'. Also, Dallas has been filming for weeks now and Texas had a serious upsurge this month.
  7. The LA ratings have been terrible - like Camp Getaway/Cash Cab terrible. It's unfortunate they didn't get a good lead-in or other support to keep it afloat. The show is an easy breezy watch for me. It's not overly entertaining, but it's easy to watch.
  8. I almost wonder if NY looks cheaper because they had less time to organize it. BH had way more notice and time to send out equipment - but NY, I'm guessing, was right when quarantine hit and logistically, there wasn't enough time or capabilities to get them good equipment in the very beginning? Sonja was something else last night haha.
  9. Brothers and Sisters was SO good, especially the first few seasons. I remember reading about some behind the scenes drama with maybe the lead EP or creator - anyway, you could tell something happened and the latter few seasons were not nearly as good. Similar to Revenge, for me... the first 2-3 seasons were so good, and then something just happened and it got stale.
  10. 😂😂😂 I am SO ready!
  11. I don't think they have. I remember Bethenny on BH, and Brandi/Yolanda were on NYC (Brandi and Kristen were BFFs). Anyone remember other examples, or were those the only two? I love the idea of Tamra shaking up Dallas, she'd fit in perfectly, especially with Brandi. Dallas just started filming yesterday, btw. Two new housewives, no LeeAnn.
  12. Oh those 1993 episodes bring back so many memories! Ted and Tad... Brooke in the quicksand! 😂
  13. Oh wow, that's gross - I can't believe she compared herself to George.
  14. Nene should have seen this coming, especially since 1) they've essentially already admitted they need to cut costs and they're cutting out OGs with astronomical salaries and 2) we're in a pandemic when revenues are going down even further. They aren't going to offer her the same amount of cash, so she should just take what she can get and ride the wave. She should count her blessings that they're even offering her something after walking out on the reunion and pissing Andy off (he hates reunion walk-offs and has even fired other housewives when they are no-shows). I missed Nene's controversial BLM post - what did she say??
  15. Dorinda really has become a jealous mean girl over the last two seasons. It's sad to see. I still enjoy her drunken antics, but she really has some work to do.
  16. Oh Tinsley got a really sweet and proper send off. That was great!
  17. Tinsley just announced on her social media that tonight is her last episode and she is officially no longer a NYC housewife after tonight. She’ll be on WWHL later tonight to discuss.
  18. Million Dollar Listing LA starts a new season next Tuesday.... but I agree, momentum is important and to drop both housewives shows for weeks at the same time is haaaaard. Married to Medicine LA didn't even get a new episode this past week, and I think they're already halfway through their season, because the mid-season promo has already aired. I guess we're in for a short season.
  19. That is a bummer! Sonja just posted on IG that after tomorrow's new NYC episode, it'll go dark for at least 2 weeks, returning again in July. I guess they want to stretch out new content.
  20. Maybe I should rewatch Season 4, but I just remember thinking that Joyce was boring. I wasn't sad to see her go. I agree on airing the international versions!!! That's how I was able to watch Melbourne, Aukland and the first couple seasons of Cheshire. I wish they'd do it again.
  21. The behavior at that dinner on NY this week was BIZARRE, but I couldn't stop laughing. Typical Ramona trying to flirt with randoms, Sonja doing the most random, insane things... Dorinda totally wasted and not making sense... and then by the end of the episode you have Tinsley and Leah making out. Hahaha, what did I just watch??
  22. If BH already released their mid-season trailer, and they started after NYC, who hasn't had their mid-season trailer yet... so are we in for a very shorten BH season? What episode number are we on now...
  23. I totally agree with everything EXCEPT bringing back Kelly - she was the absolute worst. I finally felt fatigue last night. Each episode is just a boozy special event, which is fine every once in awhile, but it's nonstop. Leah was so cringe and she needs to stay sober if that's how she's always going to act. I wouldn't trust a drunk Leah around my belongings for anything. I love these girls and NY will always be my favorite franchise, so I'm hoping we get a little more this season.
  24. I haven't watched Episode 3 yet, but I do find it odd that Richie is included with this group. I'm sure I've forgotten some storylines, but wasn't he more involved with his sister Annie and then Ryan/Jonathan? I know Jonathan isn't on this reunion, but the other two are. How did Richie connect with JR/Babe/Jamie/Krystal? I guess they likely put MCE and Cameron with Rebecca and Josh (Greenlee/Josh)? And then put Erica/Kendall/Bianca/Jack together? Edit: Ok wow, nevermind. I just read the Richie's summary online and literally 90% of his storyline was with Babe/JR/Krystal 🤣 After reading it, I remember everything now - the memories were flooding in.
  25. That EW reunion was SO good - I can't wait for the rest of the episodes later this week. I'm surprised they didn't start episode 1 with Susan Lucci though - I'm sure she's not happy about that I guess they wanted to get Kelly Ripa's face out there. Anyway, love how close Kelly and Eva still are. The John Callahan discussion was very touching too.
