  1. I loved the finale of RHoV. I did not expect a reason as to why Jody hated Mary, as there is not one. I thought Mary came off so well in how she dealt with Jody, and Robin with Ronnie as well.
  2. RHoV: Mary came off absolutely fabulously at the party, imo. Jody was literally insane, Ronnie ran away like the weak, coward she is. Mary stood her ground, defended herself, but didnt resort to Jodys level and in turn made Jody look terrible. Amandas boyfriend is so damn sexy. He looks like a baseball player, something that is oddly now becoming my type.
  3. yeah, only 10 episodes were ordered. I remember reading that in the news of s2.
  4. I don't think she wants to be queen b or is as stuck up and proper as she comes off. I don't think it's an act tho either. I just think the way she comes across isn't really a full picture of her. She got down and dirty last year and did a lot of wild stuff. She's not juvenile like e other OC ladies are tho.
  5. There was a scene on Days where she was coming off being drugged or something, and I believe in the hospital, where she played like 9 different types of emotion and it was so well done. The differences in Carly is why I dont find it that fair to compare the actress who played her. I think Sarah's was very tough, a fighter. Tamras was more a heroine, a love interest, Lauras is... well, a disaster. A plot point. I think LW has played many versions of Carly very well, when she came off the train she was a very good mix of that tough carly but still had a lot of Tamras carly.
  6. Dale was awful. I def like the idea of Glenn and his manpain, but it came across awful. At no real fault of the actor, but it was just not explained enough I think. Like, I got why he felt like that but was only due to my own thinking about it and knowing the character, i figured it wa because he used to believe he was very weak, and he has "manned up" and become tough, strong and able bodied but when that happened to Maggie he was helpeless again and felt weak, like less than a man. And the fact that she took it in stride and didnt let it bother her too much bothered him, because he was desperate to be the man and take care of her, but she didnt need that because she is tough. At least thats how I seen it. But on screen, he just came off as being whinny.
  7. Yeah, I heard about the Kate recast and then again about that character who was Traceys mob mans daughter, from The City i think. The character was supposed to be a teenager but I guess they were willing to age her up to an adult if Tamara would do it. Id kill to see TB and JE together but am glad she said no. 2001 fashion is seriously awful looking back at it. I remember at one point the soaps had a few of the girls in those weird butterflyesq halter tops with no backs or sides. The horror. Lets just cont to fanboy over TB for a moment, because I was just thinking about that scene of her and the baseball bat. That [!@#$%^&*] was great. I also loved all her almost/minor romances, Zander, Jax, Jason. While it wasnt a huge stretch of her talent The image of her dropping the wine glass as Sonny is shot seeing Brenda and amazing grace playing was great too. Of course, the panic room saga was amazing. Then there was her and Lorenzo. The scene of him washing her hair as she dyes it brown after moving on from Sonny is one of the sexiest and realist moments between a soap couple imo. Ok, ill stop now... Oh, and as for AMC i really loved the idea too. I get why she left Days to go to AMC in that role, esp after Days messed her character, story, and pairings up with all their issues of supercouples forever! I didnt mind that she was a lesbian marrying Bianca but being drawn to Zach, i would love to see a story like that - or reversed with a straight person falling for someone of the same sex - but thats not a story American soaps are able to take the time to craft and tell it seems.
  8. Her introduction was atrocious, I had forgot about that lol. My top characters would be Daryl, Maggie, The Governor, Rick. Used to be Glenn but he annoyed me this season.
  9. Ugh, Angel. Endgame. Such bad stuff. Like, so, so mind blowingly bad. I loved Tamra as Carly. I had seen SB's Carly as I started around Liz's rape but i was a kid and only cared about Liz and Lucky, when I really started watching GH in the summer of 01 Tams was Carly and she was my favorite character. I really do think she grew leaps and bounds in that role, from her start to the scene where finds out Michael died was just huge. Too bad her days roles didnt work out. I have heard that she was approached to return, i think about two summers ago now, but declined. I dont blame her, and I was surprised that SB returned. Actually, its too bad SBs role didnt work on Days either.
  10. I love Daryl, and I do think he is the best, and most interesting, character on TWD but I do not think he should be given much more than he has been given, as what makes him so interesting is the mysteries around him. We know very little about him, his life, his childhood and next to nothing about his life right before this happened. I like the way they have alluded to some thing, like an abusive dad, and I wouldnt mind finding out more but slowly and like we have so far. Me and my mother almost never agree on any character on a tv show, so I was stunned she hated Lori - but she said she didnt really hate her until season two and it just started to grow, where I couldnt stand her from like episode three on. They also both loved Maggie, instantly, and i myself find Maggie right behind Daryl on the best and most interesting characters list.
  11. Yes, i do remember hearing about the screaming match now. Didnt Brown say something about running into her at a gas station years later? I dont know why that just popped into my head. Perhaps it was three months, not weeks. Or she was just pulling a random, short term number out. How odd though that they would kill of SBs Carly, bring in TB as a alive Carly only to rape and kill her off. Carly and the castings, stories, behind the scenes dramas is one of the most interesting aspects of GH to me. From all the talks of SB not getting along with JFP and others, this weird short term recast to TB staying, to the rumors of TB being unhappy after awhile and MB not wanting to work with her anymore until she and TK took off and that saga, the awful recast after TB to that one lady who was an OK actress but miscast and all the other actress' who read for the role (Galen Gearings wife! Sarah Buxton!) to LW leaving GL for GH and the bts drama when SB came on as Claudia and rumors of she and VM not getting along. It just seems that behind the scenes of Carly's character may be more dramatic than on the screen.
  12. YES! Thank you. Did Sarah leave under that bad of conditions, that they needed a three week recast?
  13. I found my parents marathon watching the first two seasons on netflix and watched the season two finale. It was interesting to get their opinions on it, as they are not internet people at all. My dad loved Lori while my mom was begging me to tell her they kill her off because she can not stand her. They both hate Andrea. They didnt have an opinion on Daryl one way or the other. My mother loves, loved her some Rick while my Dad thinks he is annoying and weak and wants Shane to kill him. The whole conversation I was just thinking "Are my parents online on TWD forms on the DL? Cuz theyd fit right in - but they better fix that nothing opinion on Daryl" lol
  14. I have no idea, and it is frustrating because I made a mental note to come into this thread and share it and then... well, mental notes vanish at 25. Let me a make a mental note of that... I want to say it was General Hospital and I read it in the SOD special, or seen it as trivia during the marathon.
  15. I just heard about someone coming onto a soap for like three weeks as a replacement to wrap a story up but ended up staying, however i can not for the life of me remember who, what role, or what show.
  16. Heather talked in her blog about how she was really upset with the caterer and was taking it out on terry, i understand where she was coming from in that honestly. I think its very typical for couples to do.
  17. Paris was on, wasnt she? This was just an additional scene I think
  18. The perfection. The truth. This post is everything.
  19. RHOC (new, now that i am all caught up!)- Tamra, tamra, tamra. Where do I begin? It is going to sound like I hate her - and i guess i kind of do, but i also LOVE her and am so glad she is on this show. That said, this attention seeking drama queen! Like the eff was up with her getting up and running from the table in tears, making a scene? Then returning as if nothing happened. I just cant. It was glorious. Then she takes Vicki aside at the party to talk and hash things out. Fine, that was good, but then she basically lies to Eddie and gretchen about it, not to mention her acting on her blog like Gretchen didnt want her and Vicki to make up when Gretch clearly pushed for her to say hello and be nice to her. Now, Gretchen has every right to worry about what the future would hold for her and Tamra if Tamra and Vicki became friends again after the way they treated her for so long. Speaking of, how glorious was it when Gretchen called Vicki out on how it feels to have everyon trash her, her relationship, her man, and attack, ambush and even lie about them? I did not expect Vicki to own that and agree it was similar, and you could tell it killed her, but she did it because its the truth. Eddie is a mean girl at heart. He and tamra are perfect together. Alexis... no comment, because i didnt watch her scenes. lol. I do think that from the talking heads and blogs it is clear that Gretchen and Tamra have a falling out. Tamra is already lying in her talking heads and her tone about Gretchen is off, so you know they were filmed after their falling out. The new girl also goes in hard on Gretchen in her blogs and interviews, so she hates her. This is looking like it will turn out everyone versus Gretchen with Heather playing a Jeanna type role of not taking sides. I was surprised by how hard Vicki went in on Tamra in her blog as I know they were together last week in new york when Vicki was on WWHL.
  20. I dont think thats a way to reboot it, because even bringing in one, two even three new ladies with no ties - while never happening - wouldnt change the dynamics. They would still choose a side. Now, if they fired every but teresa, or fired teresa, maybe there would be a shift but i dont see it lasting. These women play roles, fictional versions of themselves, and they are not likely to change that. Many former wives and a few currnt ones have even commented on them knowing what producers - and their fans want - and doing what needs to be done to make that happen. So even with a slew of new wives and teresa, she would cause a battle line because her being the agressor against someone or being the odd one out needing to fight is her role and she knows it. NJ is very different than the other series in that is central on family. I dont think a move away from that would be good for them. What they have works for the majority of the audience. It sounds like the best way to reboot NJ might be what Bravo did this season - call in some pro help for these ladies and let them know they need to shape up and give them something new. Ive read that it happened, we will see.
  21. I just don't see it ever happening. They will always bring ppl connected in.
  22. I don't think OC needs a sake up or cast change at all. Maybe Alexis I guess could go. There is no way to reboot NJ. it will live and die with this cast.
  23. I am pretty sure they were still filming at least into this season starting, i thought awhile into it but im not sure. I am not saying that actually killing her was a concious decision and a cop out in that way, just that it feels that way. The way it felt to me, watching it was, the writers effed her character up this season by isolating her, making her dumb by not clearly explaining her feelings and actions, backed her into a wall where itd be hard for the group to take her back, and killed her off instead of writing themsleves and her out of it. I had read earlier this week, after the episode aired, that killing her was kind of last minute/made late into the season and that to me is telling that they knew they had effed up with her, if the show was airing yet or not. I do not mind them killing her off - but I dont understand why do it when it has minimal impact as opposed to after she has fought her way back into the group, reddem her with the audience, and then do it. I dont think they need to closely follow the comics at all or anything like that. But even her death aside, the finale was very weak to me. Like there were serveral better, more impactful, and interesting episodes all season. This just kind of felt like another episode that was wasting time til something big happened despite all the stuff that did happen.
  24. Andreas death just doesnt pack enough of an impact after having her so isolated.
