I think that woman will go to her grave keeping the flame. It's very sad thinking of the young woman who married him - even maybe thinking of the young couple they were, if one's empathy can stretch that far - but it does not allow me to sympathize with the woman of today who's stood by him for decades when she has to have known, and then begun to rationalize.

    Oh, snap.
  3. Sherilyn Fenn, who's had financial (and other) troubles, is apparently bankrupt and unwisely blogging about it. I won't link to it here, but I hope her spate of new work at Showtime (Shameless and hopefully TP) is good news for her.
  4. EW previews Bran's return. The wig is gone.
  5. Her new album is actually fantastic, and I hated her first big song.
  6. Series director/editor and longtime Lynch associate Duwayne Dunham is back on the job. Dunham edited Blue Velvet, the TP pilot film, and directed episodes 1, 18 and 25 (when Shelly meets Gordon Cole). He also worked in the editorial department on The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. He is going to be cutting down the hours upon hours of footage for the new series. Vulture interviews David Nevins:
  7. Her married name is Fuller, and yes it's stupid. It's a terrible, stupid show and I don't care! I'm watching it at midnight!
  8. Stupid like a fox!

The other 250 were fine, but these 7, too far!

Christopher Eccleston reprises the Ninth Doctor for a sick fan. (Peter Capaldi also visited prior.)
  11. Slowly but surely, Cameron Mathison (who always seems like such a nice guy) continues his transformation into a varnished life-size wooden effigy of President Lincoln.
  12. If they're serious about changing it (and not having every other character's storyline end in unresolved misery) then I'll give the new one a shot despite having not watched it in like ten years. It was great back in the day.

I just wanted to say Heaven Sent was great. Cheers.
  15. Audio from Max von Sydow (The Three-Eyed Raven) and Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran).
  16. It's a bizarre name. Plus are any of us on a first-name basis with Kathy Tong? Am I supposed to just say "Tong"? Think it through!
  17. Ricky Paull Goldin guests in an episode of Marvel's Jessica Jones, which is now on Netflix and is great. The lead - Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones - actually did a recurring bit 11 years ago on OLTL, as "Kay" of "Kay & Kyle," twin assassins in black leather and sunglasses who finished each other's sentences and came to Llanview trying to kill David Tom's Paul Cramer. It was part of an absolutely horrendous subplot from the second Michael Malone run, where Marcie Walsh, Michael and John McBain, Natalie, Paul, wooden supermodel Kathy Tong and others were prowling around Roxy's Angel Square Hotel in this strange cat and mouse game of crime and murder, while Nathaniel Marston and Kathy Brier got wet and naked on the roof. It was one of the weirdest two-three week periods I've ever seen on any soap, like something out of a stage play written on acid, and I've never forgotten it. Anyway, yeah, watch Jessica Jones.

The Christmas special is named The Husbands of River Song.

Peter Jackson announces he is directing an episode of DW next year. (We think. Probably.) Have not seen the Capaldi one-hander but I hear it's great.
  20. Sam is a little boy. Wonderful scene with Deanna and Michonne. And yeah, Morgan does need an asswhupping for this whole thing. I was pleased with it but I hope we don't lose too many people when it returns. Poor Merrit Weaver! Carl had line of the year. I'm glad Ron didn't shoot his eye out. Since no one wants to watch Into the Badlands, here is the "2-minute prologue" for TWD's return.
  21. Oh, my. TMZ has some apparent SPOILERS. Kyle MacLachlan answers William Shatner's query about the new airdate: This would fit with the alleged rough date for the book's release, which is in fall of next year. David Lynch sends a video message while shooting TP on location to the David Lynch Foundation:
  22. Lemay complimented JFP extensively. He never said anything about pitching stories.
