  1. He knows what's coming for him.
  2. From EW, from the Blu-Ray set: Lynch, Kyle and Sheryl film in the Red Room. Click through or maximize to make it bigger, I guess?
  3. I wouldn't be shocked. IIRC when the Weinstein and Spacey scandals hit I joked that he'd be leaving to found a colony on Mars.
  4. He's incredibly good (and often incredibly naked) on Mindhunter.
  5. Welp, I was waiting for it.
  6. What I learned from the Bush years is that survival (and justice) are a marathon, not a sprint. We have great news today but also probably some terrible news. We keep going. The only way out of this, and the only way to make them pay, is to inflict the only kind of pain the GOP will ever really understand. And that begins at the midterms. I am sorry for your mother, and I am sorry for others' health insurance and woes. The only way we can do right by her or anyone else is to keep going. And there is good news today to hold onto.
  7. No, it had to do with quid pro quo on the Obama-era sanctions, IIRC. Or that may be about the UN's Israeli censure efforts on their illegal settlements. I'm confused right now. Either way, Flynn and Trump doing either pre-inauguration is illegal.
  8. The issue is that Trump put him up to working with the Russians in the first place pre-inauguration. That is illegal.
  9. More than Jared. Flynn put 45 in the picture to save his son.
  10. Holy fúck.
  11. Lots of great preview material from the Blu-Ray set below. Also: Caleb Landry Jones (Steven) has an uncharacteristically normal and sympathetic role in the excellent Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, opposite Frances McDormand and Woody Harrelson. It's a wonderful film and he's great in it, see it.
  12. That would get him banned if we had moderators. Right, @Errol?
  13. This echoes what was recently done with a major paper in Las Vegas with Sheldon Adelson and with the right-wing owner of DNAInfo in NYC (who purged the entire site and its years of archived articles overnight, leaving its liberal writing staff jobless and without the ability to link their work for future employment), and it is very very troubling, as is the DOJ interference with the CNN merger. If we survive Trump we also have to find a way to survive this. The picture and the strategy are clear and incredibly dangerous.
  14. Longer version of the Scott piece with more commentary from him and the cast. They did this in nine days, they wrap today or tomorrow and they already have that trailer out:
  15. I didn't see the end of the last page - that's horrific. I'm so sorry.
  16. Ridley is a legend. He doesn't give a fúck. Dude turns 80 tomorrow and he'll probably die on the set of another movie. He discusses the switch with EW:
  17. Danai figures prominently in the money shot alongside Captain America, Black Panther and company in the new trailer for Avengers: Infinity War.
  18. The Great Spacey Switch is underway:
