  1. Photoshop City! I'm pretty sure the images of Mo and NLG are years old. That is wild that Becky is in the middle. I wonder who let that slip through without Howarth or Easton featured on her arm.
  2. According to Franco, she wasn't. But Ron Carlivati also wanted to undo his own retcons in 2014 and have Franco reveal he'd had Michael raped after all (and still keep him on the show as a romantic lead!), so I don't think we can generally trust a serial killer. I thought GH securing what was then a major movie star for a suspense arc was a coup. It was the execution I found poor. On paper, Franco was an interesting idea for a short-term villain; what they did with it got very dumb very fast. It wasn't helped by Guza clearly salivating over another opportunity to prove he's not the soap opera guy by eagerly rolling out every show star to share scenes with Franco - awkwardly forcing scenes with Tony Geary, etc. that just felt so tryhard. It just felt embarrassing, like a small town sheriff trying to impress the FBI.
  3. More on today's ep. Unsurprisingly, Matalas makes it clear in what he doesn't say to the final question that it was no mean feat getting the actor back.
  4. Fun fact: Sarah, Heather's roommate, was played by Eileen Dietz, the stunt/action double for Linda Blair on The Exorcist who appeared in several infamous scenes and who also was this unforgettable face in the film's nightmare sequence, playing the demon Pazuzu.
  5. It's a pretty substantial spoiler for Star Trek: Picard, so I'll spoiler-tag it for the handful of us who watch:
  6. Great episode this week. I will tag it since there is a big surprise and it's early.
  7. One take! Frank's show semi-regularly misses stuff like this.
  8. And maybe when you finally work here and have any authority at all, it will be up to you what people do where and when. Most posters here (myself included) have offered their happiness for the show while critiquing its quality. You can leave it at that.
  9. Very happy for them. It sounds like that reunion with Guy Pearce won't take for Jane unless she's only a guest.

I wouldn't rule it out tbh.
  11. I was wondering what had happened to that.

@DRW50 Grain of salt, but there have been rumors of a new UNIT spinoff for awhile featuring Ruth Madeley's upcoming character. Now this too: The Mirror has picked this up and alleged it will star Jemma Redgrave as Kate Stewart. Moffat, Gaiman and Gatiss are all rumored to be writing for the next series but there's nothing certain. And of course there is more talk alleging Carole Ann Ford is def in the third and final anniversary special.

It's quite a brazen showing. If he was not one of the top and most powerful creatives in the country I wonder if he'd dare.
  14. Oh, that's lovely.
  15. They won't announce Tony if it happens, IMO. That will be a surprise. I still don't believe Luke is dead.

    Russell never minces words. @DRW50
  17. Me neither.
  18. It says a lot about my memories of Forbes March's extremely extra behavior on and offscreen that I took one look at that headline and was like 'yeah, checks out.'
  19. So proud of Michelle Yeoh, a towering legend of Hong Kong cinema. And very happy for EEAAO. Andrea Riseborough being gleeful for her win was great.
  20. Very happy for Sarah Polley, who I've adored since we were both little in her days of Terry Gilliam's Adventures of Baron Munchausen and Ramona on PBS, all the way through Go, Splice and now her directorial career.
  21. I love Jamie Lee and I'm happy for her, but Angela was robbed. That Diane Warren song with the spoken word interludes was... unique. Yay Ke!
