  1. I vaguely remember it. I thought it made sense tbh bc that's exactly what would happen in the backseat lol.
  2. They also use the toddlers and small children and every recurring player. It's ridiculous and screams Ellen Wheeler's Guiding Light. They surely have enough money to take another shot at Faces of the Heart. How much can it cost?
  3. Drew moved into business years ago.
  4. I also think Maule is often quite sexy in his own way. Yes, he was peak suburban 90s dad but there was more behind the unassuming outward appearance. His talent most of all is what stuns me the more classic material I revisit - such a quiet storm, but also capable of incredible wry humor. Sarah Brown has also spoken highly of him recently.
  5. I was hoping for the same. Who knows the last time Terry or those other adopted kids were even mentioned? And no, I had no idea she was in Jean-Jacques Beineix's films and I love Diva.
  6. Tanisha Harper is the worst actor I've seen on this show since Oscar. Jordan has always been a nothing character. Drew and Jordan together sounds like a nightmare.
  7. Cam is dunzo with Steve back. It's just a matter of time.
  8. The less the better!
  9. Terry's stories were wild but like her sister, Bernard always seemed so spirited to me onscreen from what I've seen. What a shame.
  10. Yeah, Steve vetoing Jason Q is a story older than dirt. It's not news. Do I wish he'd gotten his Q memories back long ago, of course. Doesn't mean Jason Morgan needs to go away but it would alter the character. The issue is Steve doesn't want to play anything complex. He wants to come in, wear the same outfit, shoot guns and go home. It's never going to happen. I do think BM's Jason/Drew was an evolution of a sort for the character. Miller's faux Jason played the relationships with the Quartermaines, Monica, Jake, etc. differently and tenderly, and that bled over into Drew. The show then tried to compensate when Steve returned by trying to reverse-engineer some of the same bonds with Steve's real Jason (especially with Jake) but they've never really managed to put it over. I think Drew as a character - a warmer, kinder man with both a background in action like Jason and a head for business and the Q-style intrigue - can and should work. The problem is they have zero investment in Drew with Jason around, as you say. And CM has done little to distinguish himself since shaving the gulag beard. He is basically playing a variation on himself or Ryan Lavery. Would I put Drew back on the shelf and await a charismatic actor for real investment if it was up to me? Sure. But that's in a paradigm where Jason would not be the priority of the two or Drew can get at least real consideration, and that paradigm does not exist IRL. The character has only ever existed as a Jason stand-in. It's too bad.
  11. I'm thinking less about immediate polling (though CNN's after the SOTU was very good for Biden) and more about changing the conversation and thrust of the election, which it did, dramatically. The illegal thing didn't go far outside of random segments of Twitter, and Biden did walk it back.
  12. IIRC she was meant to be a contemporary of teen Michael and Kristina in the late 2000s/early 2010s, but I may be off about that.
  13. The SOTU fixed that.
  14. My idea for a Ward return was always bringing back Justus from Witness Protection (either Joe Phillips who still looks pretty good or someone a bit younger, maybe to pair with Portia) to shore up both them and the Qs as a patriarch. Then I figured either Keesha as a social activist of some sort, maybe Maya or the oft-mentioned Zoe or someone entirely new. There's plenty you can do. I have no idea who could play her but people have mentioned some good names (Sherri Saum is not likely ever coming back to daytime though lol).
  15. I don't think Jason needs to be with anyone either. But if it had to happen I'd really screw with people and bring back Keesha.
  16. Didn't you just ask us how the story was? LW does press because soap actors do press when stuff happens onscreen, lol. Carly shared scenes with Jason before he fled her home, but the story is not all about Jason and Carly. But this is all spun up on Twitter because couples stans get tight because they labored under a misconception that Jason would show up at Liz's door instead and then got mad. I don't care about either couple so it doesn't matter to me. Stan twitter is not an accurate depiction of anything, I care if a story is being executed well. I don't care if it has Carly or Liz in it.
  17. That's not what's happening, but thanks random Liason fan on Twitter.
  18. Believe it or not, that day camp exists canonically in the show thanks to Ron Carlivati and his various successors. I give you "LIla's Kids". Joss (staring dourly in the back) later went on to become a counselor there with Eden McCoy in the role. I believe they still mention it fairly often.
