  1. 😭😭😿 Kate:Why can't people watch our show and never comment about it on the internet?!? Abe: Yes, even though this is my dream job, I still can't deny the impulse to fight with people who literally pay me to entertain them on a daily basis! Why won't they just accept what I give them and be happy?
  2. As fans, we often underestimate how much actors value screen time regardless of the content.
  3. Well Kate, the only way left to save this thing is to take some feet pics, change the title, and call it “Body & Sole” or “Dammit, I'm in love with you, Kate. Let's take our divorce settlements, blow this town, and move to LA to become indie producers!”
  4. I was just thinking, why didn't Paulina hire Abe as interim-chief-of-police? B&S is over. He solved the crime. He has clearly recovered from his brain injury. And, even Paulina thought Arnold seemed weird at the wedding.
  5. Her arm may be oddly proportioned (her hand is longer than her upper arm), but they nailed the hair.
  6. Well, Maggie did have that brief period where she ran the Horton House for Wayward Girls, so it becomes instinctive. My question is: Do teenaged girls still shop at Victoria's Secret?
  7. I wish the episodes were as cute and charming as these promos, but they hook me every week.
  8. The only opposing information is that Brady specifically commented that Rachel ruined his relationship with Chloe, so part of his motivation is not to repeat his past patterns.
  9. The evidence should also include the total lack of dialogue about Ava and Kristen's past together. One would think that if this was a story meant for Ava, they would remind viewers of their past animosity.
  10. Thanks, I saw that, but my question was based on the fact that S-D's been sober for a year, and Rafe was just fired a few months ago
  11. For whatever reason, I am more tolerant of the Aremid tale, because it feels like classic DAYS. A mixture of fantasy and romance. When I'm willing to ignore the fantastical plot holes, because the romance of Ava and Brady is at the center of the story (even though, they hardly progressed as a couple before facing immediate hardship). Once again, does EJ know his son is in the hospital? When Belle told Jada she was visiting Johnny, why doesn't she tell her that he's in the ER with Chanel? I mean, Sami should be more angry about EJ ignoring their son that she should be about two adults being in an intimate relationship, years after she's left town. And finally, why is Arnold Paulina's only choice for commissioner? What about Shawn-D? And why didn't we get any scenes of Shawn interrogating Jada? UPDATE: I just got a chill thinking of this possibility
  12. I do it every election year, but in their universe, maybe Julie thought Jennifer got a new mattress when she lived in the primary bedroom, and Jennifer thought Maggie ordered one, but Julie definitely needs a new one now. Also, rather than another pregnancy, I'd like to see Stephanie's PR acumen come into play. We've never really seen her successfully manipulate public opinion. And in the age of influencers, it might be fun to see a woman explore that type of power. Not based on material acquisition or professional knowledge, but just have her opinion matter to other younger female characters on-screen because of her influence. On the other hand, I think Stephanie is best as a supporting character. She's a good friend to Jada. She is a reasonable talk-to for Chanel. I would be fine with her just being a b-character. Speaking of interesting PR, did everyone see this on Instagram?
  13. One piece of advice for Julie as a person who has had many family members die at home. You have to buy a new mattress. It's one thing to sleep in the same bed, but at least you can refresh the mattress that Doug, Tom, and Alice all died in.
  14. Wasn't she on her way to rehab with her parents when they got into the car accident? Correction (another misremembered moment) - from her wiki Cat was involved in an accident with their father and mother Catherina. Cat was badly hurt and barely survived. She was sent to a rehab clinic where she had extensive plastic surgery. At some point, she and Mark were contacted by Clyde Weston, who was holding their mother captive after they believed she had died in the crash alongside their father. Clyde forced both Cat and Mark to do his bidding threatening to kill Catherina if they didn't.
  15. It is so odd how they've underused their stunt casting 90210 “star”. Even when she was the center of a plot, there was much more focus on Chad, JJ, and the others. We've had less than five scenes with her family. Her history in Salem is still unexplored. And, her prior drug addiction seems swept under the rug. So, we know less about Cat now that she's been revealed. Her year contract is more than halfway through, and it feels like most of the time has been spent having people react to her, rather than her enacting any plot.
  16. Time wise, that fits because this was edited from an ad for the day Y&R debuted their 60-minute episode format. Hence, the prominence of their actors.
  17. I think it would be a mixed response from Ms Fulton. On the one hand, those cheekbones are arched for the gawds, on the other her tiny placement in the ad as a whole may have been an issue. 😉
  18. Yeah, I don't need the writing for Kim Coles to be “funnier”, I had actually hoped they would humanize the character with more pathos. The woman's husband and pets died, and they treat it as if this is subject to be mocked. Meanwhile, we are told to take Julie's grief seriously. They played the wacky side of the character throughout Abe's kidnapping. Now it would've been melodramatic to play the guilt associated with the realization of her loss, and how it affected her psyche. They've underestimated Cole's ability to play a more nuanced version of the character so that, as an audience, we can sympathize with her pain. The show feels too disjointed when one day we are meant to learn something from how Julie copes with loss. And the next week, death is easily avoided by a shot in the arm, (that wasn't even wiped with an alcohol pad first).
  19. That was truly bizarre. It was as if someone in production said, “you've got three minutes to conclude the B&S storyline, and then we're moving onward.” Why was the entire plot sewn up in a day? And, why has the loss of one day of filming doomed the entire production? Don't get me wrong, I want it to end, but this is too silly. Tonally it makes no sense that last week Marlena and Julie were crediting therapy as an essential force in mental health. And, this week a psychotic patient is treated as a joke in a sanitarium where they are testing toxic drugs? Also, why is EJ never around when Johnny is in a crisis? He's right upstairs bonking Belle, wouldn't Chanel go looking for him? And has Chanel forgotten her anger at EJ trying to pay off Joy?
  20. Cut to Robert Scott Wilson when he gets a script
  21. It's a topical poison? Why was Leo wearing gloves? This and many more questions that will never be answered on the next Days of Our Lives…
