  1. I totally agree i would love to see episodes from 1979, especially after after hearing some audio recordings from that year! I wouldn’t be surprised at this point that if they do have an archive department (which I’m sure they do) that the people who work in it probably rather watch stuff from like 2013-present, lol
  2. Yeah with the holidays coming up, I'm always tempted for some more Y&R, haha i know it seems like I just got some, but It's hard not to resist!
  3. I use too yes, but he's been MIA...but I've also gotten material from this site, which has some of the same episodes as James. https://soapoperas.webs.com/
  4. That's great! I'm excited to see them! There's several copies of the same episodes floating around, but this is the source for those B&B and most of those Y&R dates we've collected. It sadly hasn't been updated in over a year. http://soapoperadvds.proboards.com/thread/3/bold-beautiful
  5. Yes That would be great, the only December 1992 I have of Y&R are from Dec 22,23,24,28,29,30, so I'm not sure if they are the same as yours? It's a shame that James the guy from Indiana, (Where the B&B came from) hasn't updated any of his collection in over a year...I'm still wondering what happen?
  6. Or all of his own work.... She's too classy, but I kind of wish Lauralee Bell would sometime post a pic of her dad's Y&R tape archive..LOL
  7. So I wonder how far these date back to??....
  8. Thanks for this! I think the total number of episodes is accurate based off of my own listings for 1991 Y&R ( based on my calculations they had 251 episodes that year) it’s interesting how low some of these numbers are (particularly for people I thought had more front burner story this year like Jake, Margo, Thorne, Felicia etc...) but the overall balance is better then anything on the B&B the last 6-7 years. was Donna given a non-exit? I’m curious to see Mary Sheldon, I’m guessing she wasn’t really a temp and they just wrote Donna out.
  9. aww man.... it was nice while it lasted wasn't it.... Honestly where is a good place for uploading?? I've dream't for 5 years to make my videos public again, but I know that's asking too much...
  10. I always thought Bill Bell stayed put during the strike in 1988? unless I'm mistaken.... man I would love to see those scenes where we can tell it's the actors "improving" their scripts!
  11. I get confused too, because I thought the show initially went to number 1 around 1986-87 and shared the spot with GH....I guess that's where Brenda is coming from...
  12. I agree.....I think the show shooting to Number 1 that year was a result of Bill Bell getting a lot squared away from before......not that the prior years were bad or anything, but I think lots of familiarity with the show itself starts at the end of 1988.
  13. Sigh.....it does!......I highly doubt it but if there was ever a time Brad Bell had a special showing of these Catalina episodes with the cast, I hope Scott Cliffton, JMW, Darin Brooks and whoever else has only been on B&B since like 2009.....shook their heads and said: "Damn.....why have we never gotten great material like that!??" not that they could play it, but yeah.... I need to get 1988 episodes! it's gonna be on my holiday list! LOL I just realized a lot isn't on YT from that year...and it's been 30 years!!
  14. Here's the missing November 6, 1991 episode that came from my latest batch of dvds....I wasn't gonna upload because the DVD is messed up towards the end, and as a result the remaining 6-7 minutes are unfortunately missing, but I'd figure I'll re-upload ASAP once I get a replacement dvd... Yes 25 years in 2019 for 1994 Y&R! YIKES!! and the scariest thing to me is that it's gonna be 25 years we've gotten Nick, Sharon and Phyllis thrown upon us!!
  15. Your welcome! I guess Victor shoving a reporter on his ass, isn't as tacky as the press snapping photos of Brooke half-naked with Ridge promoting Brooke's bedroom! Lover your new "Avatar" btw!
  16. Thanks! and yes from September 23, 1993!
  17. Carol was very tough telling off those reporters! and I agree, Jill could have done her dirty detective work to expose Leanna for her part in "Ruthless" or any of her other crimes...if she got rid of Dina that way, that could have been a better exit for Leanna in 1992..
  18. I found some snippets of a 1988 episode. It looks like the guy who uploaded had bit parts on a few of the soaps, and mostly posted his scenes.
  19. Just read in the 7/10/1990 SOD: Tonya Lee Williams auditioned for Drucilla, then Bill Bell created Olivia just for her.
  20. Thanks! Cool to explore the “ghosts” of early webpages. glanced over those Y&R cast member chats....Braeden is still Braeden..( I got a laugh when the person asked about Victors brother and that he had forgotten his name, and Braeden just replied: “So did I” LMAO at the 28 year old guy who asked Morrow out on a Date!
  21. It looks like these videos were downloaded from the "wayback machine archive" I would love to see the first ever Y&R (or Sony) site if it's still archived....if anything to see the daily recaps they have from 94/95.
  22. Some (Very) early internet promos with the cast from 1996... (could be 1995 since Tracey Bregman was on B&B by 96) They all look and sound like they are promoting an adult website!! LOL
