  1. OMG this is amazing!!!๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ thanks so much!!
  2. Haha yes it was! No worries I saw that the other guy (Mark Sussman) has done a lot of casting for movies and tv
  3. Really?? I never knew that! I will have to go back and check! LOL
  4. Heh...go figure...IMO old VHS tapes are one of the only things worth holding onto and hoarding.
  5. That's awesome! hope you would be able to transfer them to DVD if possible!
  6. Stephanie was always an obnoxious shrew (yet at least had more heart also the first decade or so) but half of what she became is why sometimes I wouldn't be able to stomach her hypocritical mouth anymore on this show.... and I realize it was never Susan's fault that Bradley got his jollies wet seeing Stephanie being physically, emotionally and verbally abusive..........just because he thought that Sh*t was hilarious...
  7. There definitely was some sort of deal set in to make Susan stay longer, because I think she had grown tired of the show at least a decade or so before she actually retired...
  8. It still amazes me you can find so much 70's/early 80's material for AMC/OLTL/GH and ATWT/GL but Y&R is just a luck of the draw.... ๐Ÿ˜•
  9. I'm glad Weaver at least remained a strong presence as Gina, even if she was mainly a talk to for Danny and Rex, when she didn't have her own story....and they always did seem to "tease' Clint's return from jail over the years by having Gina being depressed about him, or reading a letter he had sent....which is jarring to how they re-wrote Clint's return in 2009 where he was bad all over again.
  10. I think Gina had just been recurring around that time, Kay Alden put her back on contract around 1999 or 2000 along with the other โ€œsideโ€ characters like Miguel and Mary etc...
  11. Thanks! very interesting list! I didn't know Brian Matthews (Eric) was on till 85.
  12. oh lord...just skimming through 2/14/86...so glad to see the episode again where we hear Lauren's "travelogue with a lunatic" @DRW50 I remember that's what you called that episode...wayyy back when btm85bubs uploaded the same episode, LOL
  13. Thanks for all of this!!๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
  14. I canโ€™t believe itโ€™s been 13 years already...๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿ˜”
  15. WTF!!!!!!!!!????๐Ÿคฌ๐Ÿคฌ๐Ÿคฌ๐Ÿคฌ๐Ÿคฌ
  16. Haha my bad....I just realized u were just going by contract dates and not actual first appearance Do you know when Teri Ann Linn first appeared as Kristen in 87?
  17. Saul and Darla were definitely on by Jan or Feb 1989 Hunter Tylo debuted on June 6, 1990
  18. I'm glad I was able to fill in more holes!
  19. Thanks my friend! still a few more to fill in but we will get there!
  20. Here's also some 1995 episodes I just got I had to put 2/3/95 as a download link because of a copyright claim ๐Ÿ˜• http://www.mediafire.com/file/4oflimhqll2f3qh/February_3%2C_1995.mp4/file
  21. Here's some more 1991 episodes I just got!
  22. An episode from June 11, 1985 is now on the archive site! https://archive.org/details/theyoungtherestlessjune111985
  23. Glad you are enjoying these episodes! I thought April 1991 was kind of slow myself, but as you pointed out, the character interactions and developments definitely keep you glued to the tube (or computer, haha) This was kind of a quiet month for Sheila, but something I realize with her, and any character who wasn't necessarily leading the pack on a monthly basis is that when they do appear, Bill Bell made sure to utilize them well, so it feels like it hadn't been that long since they last appeared. compare that to now where characters who don't appear regularly anymore just show up as "talk to's" you don't get that sense when Bill Bell was in charge.Everyone was important. All of Daytime today needs to learn a thing or two on how well they cast for the younger actors during this time on Y&R, and especially how to come up with better stories. It's so weird that several teens on today's soaps are exactly Heather Tom's age when she started on Y&R, yet I could never picture them doing the same type of things she did. That goes for the 20 something crowd getting the same type of stories Nina, Cricket and Danny etc... had.
  24. Wow!! Thatโ€™s great! hereโ€™s hoping this is another person who can help with uploading more old shows! this is definitely September 24, 1993!
