So sad to hear this! 😥 my heart breaks for Lynn and his family, and I agree both the Days and GH cast has dealt with too many losses these past couple years!

I wish him luck on whatever is coming next! I don’t really watch GH now, but given how Michael seemed to be a hit or miss character for a lot of people during most of Duells run, the show would be better off maybe staying clear of recasting. IMO RE: Robert Adamson, he was miscast and given so little to do as Noah, so I wouldn’t blame his acting when nothing was given to him, as far as just being another “pretty face”. He should have been cast as Scotty Grainger instead!

I looked at global schedule for Thanksgiving….sadly no listing for any classic episodes being shown this year. im honestly baffled more then usual because with all the anniversaries and 13,000 episodes and the rebuilding of the original ranch, I would really thought they’d show one this year!

I can’t and will never stomach Phyllis’s “I’m the victim” act….🙄 That’s Staffords MO that she sees Phyllis as some misunderstood person, yet once again I found this entire sequence of her yelling at Chance and everybody for not believing her, just making my blood boil….and it makes me think that unlike the other actresses who played Phyllis I don’t think we have yet to see Phyllis really get called out and blamed for any of her sins.

Seeing Vanessa and Jill cross paths would have been gold for sure! but Vanessa and Kay teaming up against Jill or the two of them against one another would have been a must watch IMO! I will admit that for fan-fiction purposes that if Lucas had spotted Nikki stripping at the bayou instead of Victor Newman, seeing Vanessa lose her you know what at her son taking such a liking to a stripper of all people could have been hysterical! Although I guess one can argue they sort of did that with Kevin Bancroft and Nikki with Allison disapproving....

I agree! and again that dyed grey hair just barely did the trick! Also again, another case of a much older, age appropriate actor, being replaced by someone too young. I think the original Jim Grainger, John Phillip Law was like 20 years older older then O'Hurley.

It really is a shame they didn’t try to give Vanessa a love Interest or life outside of causing trouble for Lorie, Leslie and her sons. Her and the Maestro definitely should have been given a chance as a couple. I wonder if it’s that same “one note” formula that Bill used for Vanessa that Bradley Bell is currently using for Steffy Forrester on B&B with her “Logan’s are EVIL” yet she’s the most hypocritical one of them all! I honestly prefer it when there kids and adults are more age appropriate in real life, yet Bill Bell never seem to care about that as long as certain actors had a “mature look” to them I guess.like John McCook and Ronn Moss only being 8 years apart but playing opposite as father and son for 25 years. Though if it wasn’t for JMc having his hair as grey as it was I could clearly see Eric and Ridge as brothers more then father/son.

I like Veronica Redd and she certainly put her stamp on Mamie and as the beloved aunt of Dru and Olivia, but I would be lying if it does distract me that she was young enough to be more like an older sister to both of them in real life. MR was definitely more aged appropriate as their aunt since she was like 17-18 years older then VR.

I hate to say this, but I always get somewhat annoyed whenever I see an interview with Agnes about the creation of OLTL she always has to explain how she created AMC first, but didn’t actually pitch it to anyone because she got cold feet. I feel like she never really gives a clear answer as to how she came up with OLTL imo.

I believe she and Massimo did have an affair while she was seeing Eric. The details are a little swirly.

On Paper it wasn't bad, but I just hate how the show choose not to have the reveal have no lasting repercussions. Stephanie really should have been put on blast constantly for her role in this, even if she had only just learned Ridge wasn't Eric's when Massimo came on board.

I’m no fan of her Abby but I still feel bad. At least she always seems to show a lot of enthusiasm about the show and the fact that says she grew up watching it.

Oh I pray they won't do that time jump nonsense! LOL I definitely don't want days to drag out Passions style long, but I do hope it's the typical depending on the story certain events maybe last about a week? If they are able to do any remotes that would be welcome! especially to show up B&B. Only difference is that I hope BTG would make the most out of their remotes story wise...

Given that this isn't being filmed in LA (Right?) That definitely gives it an opportunity to have a slightly better production then what we are seeing now on the soaps (Even though Y&R has slowly improved I agree) I admit though it will be weird if it does look more like a "primetime" show then a typical looking soap opera, if they do indeed go with the UK approach. I'm not saying I could get use to it, but right now it's just me visualizing watching this 5 days a week. Haha, if we see no angels, Witches, Dolls, demons, and an outside carnival during it's first weeks on air I think we are in good shape for BTG! 🤣😂 Given that MVJ worked at B&B, I do hope down the line we do have a modern day version of Stephanie vs. Brooke, or Katherine vs Jill, or any story about a Poor young vixen daughter turning the town's older wealthy Bitchy Matriarch's life upside down! LOL

Not that I'm not hoping for a lot of fresh ideas and content, but It will be fun to see if we all end up seeing nods to the other soaps during the first week! Particularly since it's airing on CBS if we see any early Y&R or B&B parallels that Michele might borrow?

I only started watching Passions daily after it's second year, even though I saw a handful of episodes beforehand. It will definitely be nice though, going into a new soap with a more "adult" perspective, if that makes sense? LOL I'm also still trying to visualize how a brand new soap opera will even look in 2025. Like will it look modern, old fashioned, or will they kind of use more of a modern UK approach to the production of the show? Here's hoping for a sneak preview soon of what we will actually be looking at!

It’s crazy how surreal it’s becoming that I’m actually going to be around to see a soap operas premiere! I mean I was alive when Passions debuted, but to actually be there for the very beginning to me is crazy!

Don't know if this was mentioned yet, but Kay on Y&R had two funerals for her fake deaths First in 1979, and the other in 2008, during the Marge/Kay redux story.
