  1. I personally enjoyed the DM episode where Kimberlin Brown guest starred!! It was fun seeing Sheila/Dru play friends together! 😁😁
  2. Well that was before the whole drama between them right?? They were supposedly good friends offscreen until the infamous spitting??
  3. That's so cool! I'm searching on the site, it looks like they have even more archived episodes to view too!
  4. Special 1991 Holiday Promo for Y&R, with pictures of some of the cast when they were younger at the end if this GL clip
  5. Haha I feel so silly for not watching it sooner 😁😁
  6. What?? How did I not see this 😁😁 must watch later!!! I actually did skim to some of the Leanna/Victor scenes, and even though it was just fantasies, It’s fun to see that Leanna was the one person who made Victor squirm...(besides Eve Howard)
  7. Yeah, it kept me entertained as well....I just wish I had all of September/October 1989-May 1990 so we could see the entire story and not just the chunks I have!!
  8. I think the press praised Cooper in the beginning for Marge's portrayal, but the story just dragged on too long, and according to SOD at the time....the gimmick wore off quickly................I guess fans also thought Katherine and Esther trapped in the isolated cabin when this was all going on was boring...
  9. My pleasure! The credits were definitely a neat thing to see....I love seeing the "old/new" combo with the cast members....at that point Robert Colbert and Julianna McCartney were the only original cast members still on...
  10. I finally got to venture the Paley Center in NYC and ended up watching four 70s Y&R episodes!!! 😁😁😁 i promise I will give summaries asap!!
  11. It's weird how they had them go in separate ways for a little bit....I also read that Victor worked at a diner at one point during that year....
  12. I really enjoy seeing Victor's vulnerable side....you would never hear him say things like "maybe I should be dead" nowadays....he was really such a normal character in those days...I LOL'd at Eve shouting "ohhh you CRAZY WOMAN!!" when the nurse grabbed the knife from her! I knew Terry Lester was good, but man he blew those hospital scenes away!!! Marla Adams was great as well! I didn't even realize those nightmare scenes were just a nightmare..... DA is very pretty, but she's absolutely stunning here!....her eyes really have this seductive feel to them, when she's just glaring at Dina and John.... What's really a shame is that I think the full episode where Patty shoots Jack use to be on YT a long time ago....wish I watched it when I had the chance! I recall hearing that AE's first day as Patty was that episode, but I can't be certain... Yeah those types of action scenes normally don't associate with Y&R IMO...but they pulled them off here....It's crazy how they had the budget for all of that... I still don't quite get how Nikki was shoehorned into the Tony stuff, as it seems like they didn't even really use her prior connections to Paul for that....and it also seemed like Victor wasn't aware of this either?.....did they have a period where they didn't interact this much before they got back together? or before the Rick Darros stuff? seeing the 1983 credits was cool! it's basically the format they use now (the cast in alphabetical order) but it looks much cooler seeing the characters drawings off to the side......it's also kind of weird seeing Robert Colbert's/Stuart's name still being listed....I wonder how often he even appeared until he left town as well... It's hard to really choose between which are the best years, because most of the past years are! haha but 1991 is probably my favorite year as well! and so is 1993! I would have to see more consecutive 70's/80's stuff to pick a favorite year from there.
  13. LOL that reminds me of the time, I thought a bee got into my car (I think it was only the sunlight reflecting on the seat haha) and I got so scared I literally had to pull over and jump out of the car.....only thing is that I think I slammed my car in park without stopping first! that's how bad my phobia is...haha
  14. Thanks to @ltm1997 Here's another 1983-84 Compilation Video!
  15. Yeah, it was the old newsgroups fans, I think people thought it was hilarious when they started using “bug” in the show and swore one of the writers was a member or something.
  16. Thanks, for some reason I can’t imagine someone like Faren fitting in during that more current-ish time on Y&R, so maybe that’s why Andy came back single...I can’t really picture a long term relationship with Andy and Susan’s Diane either... ahh ok, I guess maybe Joanna lend Lauren the suite after she left in 1989...
  17. Glad you guys enjoyed! and much thanks to u again @ltm1997! This episode really does seem in the midst of another transitioning happening, with some of the heavy 80s players leaving or about to leave (Andy Faren,Amy) and more of the characters to bring the show into the 90s Were coming on like Leanna.. Andy’s goodbye gave more of a “I’ll see u later” vibe, especially during the phone scenes with Paul, I agree I wish they had a better goodbye, but maybe Bill Bell was trying to leave the door open....I know Andy came back years later for the 30th anniversary...was he still with Faren, I forget? i guess this is also the final months we see Paul in his more dingy office and he moves up to a more cooperate looking one, with Nathan and Lynne on the way. early Leanna was intriguing and I definitely wanted to see more, I think this is the first I’ve seen of her and Eileen’s Ashley together ...Eileen is still very tough and it would have been a very believable rivalry if she stayed in the role. John does seem very harsh with Jack, but it works since he probably still hasn’t gotten over Jack sleeping with Jill...lol. i like seeing more of the feistier spit fire Lauren, but I was stunned that she actually complimented Traci, “she’s a terrific person” etc...I didn’t realized she already her her hotel suite set at this point too...
  18. Thanks to @ltm1997 Here are 2 episodes from 1987, and 1989!
  19. Had know idea the Olsen Twins appeared on the show....(They incorrectly say it's DOOL though)
  20. I feel like Amber was definitely suppose to be B&B's version of Nina, and the whole thing with Rick/Phillip was suppose to be B&B's spin on what happen with Nina and Phillip 1986-1989....with Brooke/Jill, and Stephanie/Katherine, as the key players as well....
  21. Bill Bell also did one of my favorite troupes on both Y&R and B&B "poor young girl vs Older rich bitch", Jill vs Katherine and Brooke vs Stephanie. I think both inspired JER to do Sami vs Kate and then Theresa vs Ivy/Rebecca
  22. oh yeah....I forgot about that...
  23. I've heard a lot of people, especially OLTL fans say Andreas Patty was like she was still playing Tina.
