I certainly wouldn't have any objections if most of the "lost" episodes did surface as audio only....at least it would be something, and other people out there have had to been recording, if they don't have master tapes. Wish there was a way to transfer your tapes! would love to see/hear what you have!

I knew Brock and Lorie were friends, but I didn't know they had a past?? I guess that's another way Katherine would know Lorie better.....Casey and Nikki were also friends of Brock before Nikki actually met Katherine right?

Thanks! it would be amazing to see an accurate list of what pre 1978 material is still out there! I know on YT you can find some full or partial audios of 1977-78 OLTL.

Sorry if this was explained already but when exactly did OLTL start saving their episodes again? I keep reading in 1978 when the show expanded to an hour but what about the 1976 episode from “daytime to remember” I know some B&W kinescopes are out there and some rare color episodes saved by the network, so was the 76 one of the network saved ones?

I think the only Brooks sister Katherine really interacted with to my knowledge was Lorie, because I read some old synopses where she met with Phillip I guess so he could fund her book or something like that....It said Katherine eavesdropped on them, and I guess for a second suspected they were seeing each other..

What’s so funny re: Nikki and Victor though is that Victor was friends with Casey and on a brief snippet of a 1980 episode I uploaded Victor brings flowers for Nikki! So he definitely knew Casey had a younger sister but I guess didn’t meet her or even realize Nikki was Casey’s sister till the Bayou a year later!

Welcome to the fourm btw! I definitely miss the old background music and that was honestly what we had to look forward too still 2006-2012 when the show started going down the tubes....they still played some familiar scores occasionally...I think it was like Nov 2012 I last heard anything classic, and if they did use anything afterwords, it seemed to be only in flashbacks...

I like the isolation too, even if I always wonder what would happen if "such and such" shared scenes....it's kind of fun to use your imagination..

That's so true RE: Brad Bell making her a female Victor! in fact I feel like Stephanie probably got away with far more then Victor has under Brad...

It still leaves a bad feeling in my stomach that Katherine died basically cheering Victor on and berating Jack.....I sometimes wonder if she would even take Victors side now over his last few years of crimes...

Jill wasn’t a saint by any means but I do also hate how everyone in town did seem to think Katherine was this angel when long time viewers know better....it’s the same with Victor and how everyone turns a blind eye at all he’s done...

I think I like the scene of her and the Janitor better, not because she was almost raped, but It was more creepy then her just lounging at Robert.....but they are still very gothic scenes....I want to see more! You would totally think they would have Leslie in this deep depression, after Lance decides to leave, but that's not the case....granted I'm happy Leslie didn't really spend her final months being all depressed about Lance, but I feel like realistically that would be a hard break up to go through....

That's in the August 1982 episode. That's what I forgot to say, Claire scared the Sh*t out of me when she just randomly shouted at Robert...haha

That’s a great way of putting it...I’m glad that the stories from this year are starting to feel more familiar in the midst of all the transitional stuff! There’s a lot more out there to see so we need to have our fingers crossed! I sound like a broken record but someone had to record and save all these years?? Lorie and Victor have a unique relationship, and while Victor being sexist annoys me, his feelings about it did get better, I guess we have to remember Victor wasn’t totally redeemed from his other crimes, so it was more in character to be this chauvinist...Lorie did good at toying with him though!

It surprised me because I always thought Joe was like Skip and had a more gentle presence, but it’s so off putting how he seems to get a kick out of Jacks playboy antics.... i liked seeing the Carl and John scenes but again it almost seems like John has no problem with how his son handles his women, and sounds like he’s almost telling Carl to just deal with Jack being that way.. The Leslie and Lorie scenes I thought were good....it was kind of funny hearing Leslie say she refuses to get into a triangle with Robert and Claire and Lorie sort of throws wade on that comment....seeing Lorie and Lucas plot against Victor was fun too, but after hearing that story about Victor taking over that other guys company, I’m reminded that I can never truly like Victor as a character...I know Lorie actually succeeds in getting Prentis industries back, but Victor is just a horrible person regardless... haha I thought I saw braces on MD too!

I thought so too, I wasn’t sure if it was another Joe or not, from what I heard of Joe he doesn’t seem like he’s as swarmy as this guy is.

Yes those scenes were horrifying! I remember seeing those scenes in flashbacks when Lauren was remembering Sheila during the 2005 return, but it's so creepy to actually see the whole scenes! KB has a lovely voice though....nice surprise! I'm not sure RE: Dina but I must say seeing her in these 91 episodes, kind of takes the show back a few years to the mid-80's when Dina was front and center.....the show was miles different then it was during the 80's but MA has this natural adjustment even with all her children as recasts and newer characters from the last time.
