  1. Peter Bergman??? Josh Morrow?? 😁😁 i know both are married with kids, but I admit I always wondered about Bergman.
  2. Your Welcome! I'm not a loyal OLTL follower, but I've always been fascinated by the earlier years, so I figured everyone would like this clip! It's interesting to see Joe Stuart.....he comes across as every bit of the pompous ass, as he did in the "Llanview in the Afternoon" book....
  3. Ah ok, I've heard of that group! unfortunately I'm kind of weird about joining any soap FB group, because there's certain people I know who don't know I watch soaps....I know that sounds a little silly, but I'm kind of sensitive in that regards! LOL But that script was surely a treat and that was nice of them to acknowledge it was Brenda's last at the time, and wanted to give her a warm ending....I'm sure 7 years later it was quite the opposite.... I know some of the tape stuff was shown on the episode at Paley, but I'm not sure of the specifics? so there were two recordings of Jill and Derek I presume? one where he professes his love to Katherine (that's in the episode you just posted) and one where it looks like Jill and Derek were going behind Kay's back (and I guess was the one Katherine thought she was going to play for everyone) Brock calling Liz "Mom Foster" is such a Bill Bell line... was the private detective Brock hired Carl? I know this was around the time he first came on with Mary.
  4. Bless your heart!! 😁😁😁 what a great Christmas gift!! Reading the script definitely made me feel as if I was watching the episode! And great to have a final airdate for Brenda as well! What is the name of the Y&R group?
  5. It would be nice if one of these days someone came out with a whole playlist of complete Y&R years from like 1982-present (but I would only watch 82-05, LOL) Hell Days has uploads on twitter from like 1984-present btw it seems our friend pannoni 4 found a new home to upload his videos...it's a site called "archive.org" which I guess might have been various youtube videos no longer found on the regular site, but it also seems to be a good place for uploading material that needs to be "protective" he's uploaded some 1984 Days episodes so far. https://archive.org/details/@pannoni4 I did some searching on the site and stumbled upon a video that has various soap episodes from January 20, 1994....some of the ABC lineup but Y&R from that date was included too! https://archive.org/details/ScienceandSoapOperas
  6. I think it did air January 4, 1980!
  7. That's the image they used in the end credits from 1981-82 I believe
  8. That’s actually very cool! I think I heard of the books but always thought it was all a fan fiction type of series maybe based on the characters.
  9. I totally agree i would love to see episodes from 1979, especially after after hearing some audio recordings from that year! I wouldn’t be surprised at this point that if they do have an archive department (which I’m sure they do) that the people who work in it probably rather watch stuff from like 2013-present, lol
  10. Yeah with the holidays coming up, I'm always tempted for some more Y&R, haha i know it seems like I just got some, but It's hard not to resist!
  11. I use too yes, but he's been MIA...but I've also gotten material from this site, which has some of the same episodes as James. https://soapoperas.webs.com/
  12. That's great! I'm excited to see them! There's several copies of the same episodes floating around, but this is the source for those B&B and most of those Y&R dates we've collected. It sadly hasn't been updated in over a year. http://soapoperadvds.proboards.com/thread/3/bold-beautiful
  13. Yes That would be great, the only December 1992 I have of Y&R are from Dec 22,23,24,28,29,30, so I'm not sure if they are the same as yours? It's a shame that James the guy from Indiana, (Where the B&B came from) hasn't updated any of his collection in over a year...I'm still wondering what happen?
  14. Or all of his own work.... She's too classy, but I kind of wish Lauralee Bell would sometime post a pic of her dad's Y&R tape archive..LOL
  15. So I wonder how far these date back to??....
  16. Thanks for this! I think the total number of episodes is accurate based off of my own listings for 1991 Y&R ( based on my calculations they had 251 episodes that year) it’s interesting how low some of these numbers are (particularly for people I thought had more front burner story this year like Jake, Margo, Thorne, Felicia etc...) but the overall balance is better then anything on the B&B the last 6-7 years. was Donna given a non-exit? I’m curious to see Mary Sheldon, I’m guessing she wasn’t really a temp and they just wrote Donna out.
  17. aww man.... it was nice while it lasted wasn't it.... Honestly where is a good place for uploading?? I've dream't for 5 years to make my videos public again, but I know that's asking too much...
  18. I always thought Bill Bell stayed put during the strike in 1988? unless I'm mistaken.... man I would love to see those scenes where we can tell it's the actors "improving" their scripts!
  19. I get confused too, because I thought the show initially went to number 1 around 1986-87 and shared the spot with GH....I guess that's where Brenda is coming from...
  20. I agree.....I think the show shooting to Number 1 that year was a result of Bill Bell getting a lot squared away from before......not that the prior years were bad or anything, but I think lots of familiarity with the show itself starts at the end of 1988.
  21. Sigh.....it does!......I highly doubt it but if there was ever a time Brad Bell had a special showing of these Catalina episodes with the cast, I hope Scott Cliffton, JMW, Darin Brooks and whoever else has only been on B&B since like 2009.....shook their heads and said: "Damn.....why have we never gotten great material like that!??" not that they could play it, but yeah.... I need to get 1988 episodes! it's gonna be on my holiday list! LOL I just realized a lot isn't on YT from that year...and it's been 30 years!!
