That was one of the things that I've been loving reading critics (who have all of a sudden been writing after 4 episodes LOL!!!) is that Patrick seems to be torn between the ideals in his head (Kevin) and the reality that is outside of his ideals...not that that is a bad thing for him...in front of him (Richie). So it goes down to whether he will let himself grow or stand in place if standing in place means he just might remain alone. My apologies. Last night's episode really has touched a nerve in me. LOL. As for Patrick opening up, *cough*next week*cough* I wouldn't call Augustin a toxic friend...yet. However, he is not my favorite of the trio. Definitely want to see Dom succeed, but I have a thing for guys who want to follow their dreams and open restaurants. LOL. And it looks like maybe he will find a love connection.

*side-eye*

And I...am just enjoying all the drama.

Just got done waiting. (yes, I know I should be in bed). Loved that. Did a little shriek when I saw Richie. Though I see chemistry with Patrick and Kevin. I see why people already seem divide between the two. So happy that Patrick stepped out and lived a little. Doris rocked. And NOW it looks like a friend unit which is kewl. Also loved Dom and Lynn together.

It still doesn't look like Kenya is charging to me. *shrugs* That said, I think everyone kinda shares that blame. But I don't think most of the blame is at Kenya's feet. Now...Apollo...wrong for that. Kandi...Drag that B...talking about s*it she don't even understand. Not really liking Cynthia this year and she was great in Season 5. And love her hair in the preview on Bravo site. Nene...child...I got nothing. But she is bringing drama.

So happy you got to see it. I admit that I did love Nene trying to calm Kandi...as in NENE and KANDI. That made me go awwww...you know it's bad when Nene is trying to calm you down. And Kandi...just...wow. If she wasn't one to watch before, she sure as H8ll is now. LEXIS DID WHAT?!? LOVE.

Giving that the Lisa/Brandi/Yolanda trio has been broken, yes, I agree the reunion is going to be all kinds of crazy. Same for ATL reunion this year.

I saw those criticism as well and I LOL. I can honestly say that the show is not out of touches with the times. Now the people writing the criticism may be because everything mentioned in the bold...are things that go on to this day. And I can say with confidence that 'Sweet Dreams' 80 music or not STILL will get large crowds of people out to the dance floor. In NEW YORK at that. EDIT TO ADD: EXACTLY, DD!!! Are the characters gay? Yes! However, they are people who just happened to be gay, gay is not the everything about them. Nor should it be. And that 'brand' of gay does exist.

Mostly the bold. I also am suspecting this is more a case of trying to be everything to everybody when it should...just be. FOR NOW that is. I don't find it boring at all. And I hope that it is allowed to grow. Typically, it takes a show two seasons to even find its footing. I don't even think I want to know what RH said about his character's direction because it would color my prespective. I remember how young I was when US OAF came out and there was nothing like it. So naturally I floated to it. And I do feel that it did try to cater to everyone.

Waiting for it to repeat already. LOL!!! EDIT TO ADD: SAW IT!!! Wow. Jax is a sociopath. I mean...if I had done that to a friend of mine, I would at least feel something about it. But NOTHING. I will say this. I loved Jax's comment to Kristen. Kinda hard for her to be all upset when he tapped her twice. And oh, Scheana...making the fight all about you. lol. I realized today that while I loathed Stassi in Season 1, I loved her this season, in hindsight, driving story. Poor Tom. And LOL as I watch WWHL and seeing Lisa breaking wine bottles over Jax's head.

LMAO!!! Well, this season has been better than last. And that backhanded slap (which I just watched again) was hilarious.

And that is why I like it. It is relateable for the most part, is actually challenging my point of view on some things, and keeping it refreshing. And the writer in me is seeing it doing what I love to see down...THE SLOW BURN. I think it is setting up a lot of things that will snowball into serious drama. Cuz (just speculating) we totally know that Patrick is probably make some in-roads with the boss and it will get complicated probably in time for the Latino guy to enter the picture again.
