They ARE effective. You are just idiots who clearly want to play Russian Roulette rather than admit that you are have small @#$% energy and thus can't own your crap.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
OC I find it funny that with NY, I do live and can't follow, but LOVE it when I binge. With OC, I watch it live, doze off, watch it later and it's background music. But it's background music that you dance to a little bit as you clean or work on something. I think this new dynamic is still starting and it takes getting used to. But so far, I don't dislike it. Much. lol. But it's so wild that the drama starting out is Tamra-based and she's not even on the season at all or isn't main. Gone, but NOT forgotten. EMILY. Sorry. Emily as Bone Collector < Emily the Nice Girl. She is just coming across as two faced to me. Yeah, I guess that should be not surprising since she's a lawyer, but it is. We know Emily after two years. She has wit. She should use her wit. No need to be...a mean girl. And that was all her and Gina were doing so far. If anything she was being OC's Robyn without having Robyn's comedic timing that is emerging on POTOMAC. She was even doing what Gina said like Robyn does with Gizelle. Uh...when did Gina become the IT girl? Yeeeeah...NO. GINA. Might as well talk about her. GIrl, you are trying waaaaaaaaaaaay too hard to be Queen Bee. First of all, if anyone is going to be on this show without Vicki or Tamra, IT...WON'T...BE...YOU. There is fun messy and I don't find Gina's messy fun. Mean...not fun. Bruanwyn was being an adult and Gina was just searching for a moment. Sorry, BooBoo...that backfired. And next week doesn't look any better. Exciting to see, but Gina is no Vicki, Tamra, or even Gizelle. Then again, Gina does have Gizelle's fashion sense so there is that. SHANNON. She is still coming across well. I liked seeing her working. I giggled at her thinking Braunwyn was preggers. She does appear to be off on her own island. It reminds me of Garcelle on BH. Both in a good way. KELLY. Meh. Non-event. ELIZABETH. Like I said last week...she's is giving a Vicki 2.0. Again not a bad thing. Nice intro to her family and life. BRAUNWYN. The target. Clearly. No wonder she does not want to tell the group yet that she is working on staying sober. I respected her for talking to Emily...even if Emily now seems to be undeserving of it. And I respect that she told Shannon someone who would understand that. And while she was being honest about Shannon mentioning Gina's house...it did come across as throwing her under the bus when she needs Shannon on her side. She is going to be on a tightrope for sure this season since Gina is bound and determined to be the star. And what does a star need? A rivalry!!!! So here we have Gina mad about Braunwyn mentioning her house. All of a sudden, Gina and Robyn...I mean Emily...want to talk about Braun's husband coming on to her. Rem. So transparent. So far, Braunwyn has been the adult in that rivalry, but it looks like that won't be the case next week. And it already looks like I would be Team Braun. Sorry. So a solid episode. Onto a binge of RHOM Season 2... WOOF!!!

Smallville rewatch thread
You're getting to the good stuff. That promo (and scene) was done too well. You need to quit though. I might just go right ahead and squeeze into my binging schedule. I am behind on enough superhero shows.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RHOA Hmmm...sounds like a trailer is coming sooner rather than later. Also sounding like they are STICKING to the traditional December launch. Meanwhile...looking like Kenya and Marlo buried the hatchet.

If you knew the (real and unnecessary) drama it took to get time to read and finish it. Thank you @Vee for the rundown. Music to my ears. Very much appreciated.

In other news...Mom is doing better and I believe the cut-off point is Monday. Though I will keep my breath held until at least Wednesday. Sounding stronger and acting stronger, but I will still stress. It has been that kinda of a week.

In a sea of personal and professional drama this week, I am happy to report that I have finished my ballot FINALLY and am about to walk over to the library (yay for finding a nearby place I trust) and drop it off in the box.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Yeah, I heard. This season should have the ladies pre-/during/post- Corona if I'm not mistaken. Given what is going on so far...it will be interesting to see how it gets to everyone vs Braunwyn.

What Are You Watching/Binging/Streaming Now?
I agree. I loved watching them and Erica Durance was great at playing her. I didn't think I would like her but her sarastic army brat had me at 'Smallville.' lol. I've seen them in parts, but back then I treated them like I treated the X-FILES back then...I showed up for finales and premiere...then I was bored. Once I heard about a quest and this evil Lana on Season 4 and saw the writing had gotten better with connecting plot...I was hooked.

What Are You Watching/Binging/Streaming Now?
LOL!!! YES, it did. And I started watching regularly when she started. I loved how they went about it. From sparring partners to friends to the legendary pairing. I cannot begin to tell you how I got annoyed with the Lana whiplash when they were finally starting to realize there might be feelings. lol. I've been considering rewatching since I've forgotten a lot of it now, never saw the first three seasons completely, and wanting to see if my memories held up.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
From what I remember...yes. The judge does. I believe that it is after the judge ordered a video of the unedited fight. And I remember that because Monique's lawyer's statement was professional on one hand and on the other hand dragged Candiace for filth. If you can find it...it's an excellent written statement that will give you a few giggle at how professional and at the same time shady AF it was. Twitter giggled over it. ETA: And YES. That table. I had to rewatch it twice. I might even do it again. I saw so many layers going on. Karen's face sitting back and listening to everyone talk and staring at their faces was interesting. Like she wanted to say something or when you can see what she was thinking without her saying a thing by her face. And to think Cha Cha was RIGHT THERE. So many layers.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
HAHAHA!!! THE VERY ONE it reminds me of. Ooooo...THIS is the picture. Very clever. However, Erika knows that ain't her picture. She's not clever enough for something so creative. But...yeah so over her.

Oooooo...me likey. Even though for me...it's that BH music for me. It stands out. I get memories. OC...not so much but I like it. Oh, wait!!! I guess I remember the end of it versus the start. lol. And I think you will find the dynamic at the table during Wendy's Sip and See very fascinating. I can't wait for you to see it. ETA: YES I SAW THAT VIDEO!!! My cousin had it waiting for me after I got off work. I hollered. MEANWHILE...EAT IT, GIZELLE.

A sharper eye than me. But the fact she was at the table and said NOTHING. I find that hard to believe about Cha Cha.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
POTOMAC HAHAHAHAHAHAHA at this tea.... 1) CHARISSE was at Wendy's!!!! 2) They pulled a Marlo circa RHOA Season 5 Kenya's party on her. In fact... ...she WAS AT THE TABLE for Ashley vs Candiace. Exquisite editing.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
POTOMAC Ashley with a Corona in her hand...and everything is right in the world... ...or is it? I called it at the start of the season. I said that Gizelle might have bitten off more than she could chew by thinking she can manipulate Candiace to get at Monique. And when Candiace looked at her and asked 'don't we?' in response to Gizelle saying that they did not want Monique in jail...Gizelle knew. She unleashed a monster. Power went out here so it took a while to watch this...but good episode. It was more day to day living, but as usual the aftermath of the fight was still the undercurrent. WENDY. This episode went a long way to humanizing her for me. We got to learn more about her foine husband's family. We saw more of her family. And it was nice to see. I lol at her telling Robyn who was early for an event for once that Nigerians are fashionably late. But that promo for next week...ugh. I don't like her winding up Candiace to go against Karen. And I don't like her selective amnesia on Karen either. Just starting stuff for the sake of starting it. Ugh. ASHLEY. Oooooo....gathering Candiace, girl!!! lol. And Candiace thought she was just going to be slick with that shade. But guess what? Ashley let you know...she will leave when she is good and ready...as a millionaire herself since she has a nice nest egg once she decides...and eventually I feel she will....to leave Michael. On her terms at that. In fact, it felt like she's been setting up for that. Look at her new sister in law appearing. Look at her uncle appearing. It felt like she wanted to have more connections to potential stories around when the Michael story finally dries up. And...it will. But she will land on her feet. TeamGolddigger...I mean Ashley. GIZELLE. You worked so hard to get Monique. You worked hard to get her out of the group. And you opened a Pandora's Box. One I suspect will bite you on your butt. Candiace has already shown she is not afraid to step to you or Robyn. And neither of you will pick a fight with her given you would look like hypocrites now if you do. Candiace might have checkmate on ya. Oops. ROBYN. Basically comic relief this episode. No problem with that. She was funny dancing. She was hilarious being early and no one seeing it like a tree falling in the forest when no one is around. And her drama (c)Erika Jayne. Hilarious. MONIQUE. Not shown. Sadly. CANDIACE. Mariah from M2M said it best...you showed your slip. I feel online opinion is 50/50. However, Monique has started to show remorse (and if you been online receipts), but Candiace? A little bit of humble pie would go a long way. She didn't need to be attacked, but she is not only not owning her part, she is really playing victim. From introducing a new character to play victim to, to the post-it (lord, not Post-It, Carrie Bradshaw) to her attacking Ashley...Candiace is trying to play that victim card. However...it is coming across as a little phony. And when your husband has to shut you up...that is not a good sign. And sadly...Karen saw that too. And the Grand Dame...IS WHO YOU SHOULD TRULY HAVE ON YOUR SIDE. smh. To quote Robyn...you almost had me. KAREN. Hmmmm...I liked her talk with Ray. And it was very interesting how honest they could be. Now if they could bridge their growing gap. Meanwhile, her at the table watching Candiace vs Ashley was very telling. In that moment, you could see her moving that much closer to Team Monique because Candiace is coming across as a villainess rather than a victim. And next week, those girls are going to come for her. Uh...NO MA'AM. BACK UP OFF MY GRANDE DAME.
