I gasped. And it seems like some of that will be on the show, too.

Speaking of this crazy show (and since I got wiggle room waiting for a certain show with snowflakes)... I can't believe how much I'm almost caught up. Right in time for something that probably going to make me cry. But as of right, I'm been liking...don't hate me ... JASON/BRITT. I know I'm in the minority on this board. They were a happy accident the first time around, and then the writing decided it wanted to go and be slanted. And I didn't like the whole 'let's bring back a character and isolate them with dayplayers forever.' Because it worked so well on Lucky, Brenda, etc., etc. BUT...slapsticky writing aside...I have been liking it so far. They even got a good cliffhanger, and I feel SB and KT DO have chemistry. Or perhaps I should have said great longing chemistry. And I forgot that Jason was dead when Britt died. And they paid off the beat of Jason finding out Britt died when he got back. I have even come around to Joss being involved in this story. I want to see where it goes and what Britt's story will be. CURTIS/PORTIA/ISAIAH. I still can't figure out how Isaiah went from being into Jordan to being basically obsessed with Portia, but I did like Portia and Curtis's knock-out dragout argument that winded up with Portia sleeping with Isaiah...and going back for seconds...thirds...though I bet a WTD storyline is coming since she also slept with Curtis. Jordan almost feels like an afterthought. DREW'S ATTACK. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!! That murder mystery trope finally hit its bullseye!!! I'm with the group who say it's Willow. I can't believe she got back with Drew. But I felt she had not forgiven him and was using him. How...evil of her. I hope that means her dark turn is farrrrrrrr from over. I loved Tracy helping Michael. And I love how it's going so far given so many people wanted Drew gone (not those Kai/Trina scenes). And the reveal of people gradually finding out is just so soapy good. ERICA, JANET, & SKYE...I MEAN...ALEXIS, AVA, & KRISTINA. I admit that I was disappointed in the story turn of Cody confessing that Kristina paid him to seduce Ava because he has feelings for Molly. I just don't care about Cody/Molly and no oneliners about people still in town is going to change that for me. That said...I was not expecting Ava to pull a Nikolas on Ric. Nor was I expecting Alexis to tie him up. Karma for Carly and the panic room? It is soapy, but it's delicious. I wonder who will find out first...Molly or Liz. And of course...somehow I expect Carly to be roped into it. ON THIS EPISODE OF ALIAS. I think I've warmed to Joss and Vaughn. lol. Still don't like the storyline. And I actually gasped at Brennan's henchwoman being a triple agent. I do like that Anna appears to be getting mixed in, but I feel the idea of a Carly/Brennan/Anna triangle has sailed with the recast. And I am long overdue ready for Carly to find out what Brennan with her daughter...and that Anna knew. Oh and... MAXIE'S COMA. That was a nice pivot and put momentum on a lot of characters that the audience cared for. And that Sidwell was the reason for it since he's going after Deception? Good to see him do something evil again.

That is how I'm feeling. Such fun memories of her and Roger.

And Kristina is still a potential danger down the road.

Well it definitely has managed...uneven or not or just plain bias...to keep the momentum that it has had since the Nurse Ball. And we are now a year into these writers' run so that's good praise given where their writing was a year ago.

Also same. I loved Raquel (I LIVED for her POSE party) and I wanted to see where she would go next. It was refreshing to see a housewife who will show everything and still be interesting. I agree. I loved Raquel. Perhaps a cameo? At least Ubah makes sense to not be on the show since she's with her man in Connecticut now. Hehe. Not Lindsey!!! Time will tell.

Well, there is a reason I be talking about Frank with his 'flavors of the month.' I am happy that the show has still managed to keep a momentum going on, but there are some stories that still could have kept going along with the new stories so it's all cylinders all over the canvas.

The actress playing Allison won me over with her coco for cocoa puffs antics and even got a read in on Chels. I would not mind her coming back for an arc. And I agree on RR. My interest was maintained during the kidnapping. But I feel she's really doing some good subtle work in the aftermath.

I like that idea. They have doe some re-dressing at some point, no? I figured they would eventually since because Naomi/Jacob can't just stay in their bedroom.

I mean...didn't the second set of repeats do pretty well? I do agree though. While I'm enjoying this week so far...comments aside...the pacing does seem to be having more of an issue than it usually does. Going back to what I said about them being better off either focusing on one of their A stories with other stories around it, OR a STRONG B story (which right now is really the Doug/Vanessa/Joey storyline), OR do what they just did with an event a la Chels's kidnapping with some subplots.

I figured that would be a given. If anything...since that as well as the BLQ/Lulu rivalry has been mostly dropped...I have to give props to the fact that Gio is STILL holding a grudge for all of these months.

I don't mind that. I believe it was @Soaplovers now who suggested this story beat be done before the Ty/Sam reveal to give her rooting value. Building the character up. Which would have been great BEFORE the reveal. Post-reveal, it just feels meh. And I have liked the June storyline for the most part. As someone who has tried serving and is industry adjacent, I found it relatable. If only. Same. And I was for the story before now. tbf, at least he was mentioned before he showed up. As for Ty's girl, she vanished and they apparently broke up over her looking at colleges. And Ty still hasn't made it up to her if I am remembering correctly.

'You think she would?' REALLY, TED, REALLY???????? Not only dumbed down, but like I said...straight man to SilkPress's wackiness. I want to say the same, but I will have to disagree until the writing shows me otherwise. I said I felt like they were going to try it with the recast back during the anniversary party, and it felt like SilkPress had more of a POV than Nicole which is who the fallout of the story should have been about. Not helped by Ted not doing much to save his marriage, but he suuuure got so many scenes with SilkPress and Eva. The only thing missing for me to feel they would go there with a traditional soap triangle (which they shouldn't) was that Nicole did not seem remorseful about even getting a divorce. But all of a sudden during Chel's kidnapping and Ted's prank, she was trying to be very benefit of the doubt about Ted to everyone, making me side-eye the writing. And I thought (the really good) Nicole/Smitty scenes yesterday was on the nose as well. Trust and believe...after Monday, I don't want my favorite character with that weak a#$ man. I could have taken a drugging though such a move would have destroyed all of SilkPress's potential. He slept with her WILLINGLY. He can be gone. Same. Probably while I'm a little heated at this turn of events.

Yep. No confusion there. And like I said...clearly Ted is the straight man to Silk Press Sheila's wackiness. Yeeeah NO. I figured it was coming last week when Nicole was showing remorse over the idea of divorcing him. They are so going for a traditional soap triangle. And it's not going to work because they not only don't give everyone's POV to make it work, but to even do so, SilkPress HAS to have naunces. And it has to be done in a way that it is balanced out...something the writing has been very uneven with with SilkPress.

9-12 Well, it's good background noise. lol. But I more times went ugh than I did to enjoy. And it wasn't that it was uneven. It was just...a mess. Crew's acting didn't bother me at all. Again, it might be because I know he's green so I can wait. And he appeared to be trying. That said...he was giving me more...'so bad it's good' to watch. So that I didn't mind. I can't believe that Luna ran off and ran right into Remy...who I'm happy to see if only because that means the next story is coming. I do like that Will was resourceful enough to contact and get to Katie and Bill. Le sigh at Thomas. Wrong or not, it saddens me that we won't get him vs Carter cuz Liam needs something to do. And I don't want to see Thomas spiral over Brooke. AGAIN. I saw you Daphne. And I'm always here for Li to choke someone out.

I liked it better than you, but I totally agree with a lot of those points. June...I was actually disappointed because it felt like getting back to Square One with her. We know how I felt about Nicole/Ted/SilkPress and called that. Le sigh. And yes, her being Cartoon Leslie was not doing it for me at all.
