One of my favorite Porsha moments!!!!!!!!!!!!! But Season 10 is up there with Season 4's reunion as best reunion for me. It was great from start to finish as Wig got her just desserts.

Yes, I don't think it's shady to post it. As someone with a theater background and age and experience now, yeah it does come across a little bit pretentious, but he was asked. And he simply answered. Now if he put that out there with no one asking it for it...I would probably think him a snob since it sounds like how many 'actors' i remember from my theater days once I turned into a techie. But again...now that I'm older and have experienced more life, it just seems like a case of age. And since it's a case of age, it makes me think of other actors. There have been so many times LW has mentioned how she felt about playing Carly and how she felt she was not ready for a character like Carly when she first started out acting and was glad for being on LOVING and GL before she became Carly. And she grew into it over time. Or how JM on Y&R definitely could not act (debatedly ik) except for angry and hunk scenes when he started as Nick on Y&R. And it wasn't until he had his own children in real life that the kids scenes he had...ESPECIALLY Cassie's death, allowed him to tap into something that really resonated with the audience more. And I myself always say he gives good scenes when it's Nick just being a dad, but that's because time and experience and having kids allowed for a deeper well to put from. So I feel the words are the same with what he's saying...but he has so much farther to go.

What immediately came to mind was when AS left DAYS for the first time. So much of the show was about her and EJ at that point that it seem there was a bit of slump from what I remember because the writers did not bother to set up anyone to take people's attention from Sami leaving.

3-16 OMG...is Cameron really leaving? Say it ain't so. And when did WL get an ear piercing that made it through an editing error? And how tall is AC? Because now that Spencer vs Dex looks like it going to be a thing against Dex/Joss if Cameron is really leaving, this scene with them in each other's faces made me see that the Dex actor is a dwarf compared to AC. Speaking of AC, he suuuuure are wearing these jeans versus the jeans wearing him. So is Finn/Chase's dad dying? Because it seems...convenient. All that work to try to make him work with Alexis, and the writers wanted to go that route? And on another note...can't Alexis catch a break? Oh, lord...not again with the mixed signals route between Chase and BLQ. I can't do this again. So when is Willow going to be saved...May Sweeps? Because they are dragging out the 'Orbecht can save Willow' arc. While I have been liking the conflictedness of Amnesiac Esme...yeeeah NO to Trina trying to be her savior though the reasons for her telling Spencer, Cameron, and Joss they should drop the charges are sound.

Sorry, I've been busy and meant to piggyback around...but nope. Fired with the rest. It wasn't until the pandemic that I stopped watching VPR so I was still keeping up in real time when Jax was losing his s#$% on Twitter even more than Ex Soap Opera Star on BH and finally Bravo had no choice but to get rid of him. Like Ex Soap Opera Star, Jax spun the story that he was leaving to save face. She had potential if Jax was still around because they would have totally been feuding after that Season 8 reunion. From what I remember in real time with Brock, the fact that he and Lala were so publicly feuding online and so much came out during the airing of Season 9 that did not put him in a favorable light, that he is not main by choice now. But tbf, Season 9 was to have a bunch of newbies from TomTom, Pump, Sur...I even have a video waaaay back on this thread of Sandoval getting one of the new hottie twerking in cowboy gear...but they edited them all out from what I heard. I've begun my binge of Season 9 and only on Episode 3, but it does feel refreshed given the wasted potential of Season 8.

3-24 Yeah, I'm behind so no spoilers @Soapsuds 😜 Not that it has not been more of the same on this show. It did occur to me while watching that DUH!!! I guess this team-up between Ridge and Dollar Bill means that Bill knows (?) that Sheila and Deacon are sleeping together so I am wondering if Deacon is going to be collateral damage when all is said and done. Shame since he's now a restaurant owner. I am wondering what the point of Steffy calling out Hope on her talk with Paris about Thomas being hot is going to be. Is Hope actually going to cheat of her own free will with Thomas now? That would be...weird. Nice to see Thomas back in that nice fashion-forward shirt he woke around the holidays last year.

So very true. And heehee at 'at least he's pretty.' I would take RC back in a heartbeat. Lucas, like Brenda, is so connected to the canvas, that it's just shocking to me that he's not there. And there are so many possibilities for him...being the brother, working toward CoS, getting back with Brad or being in a triangle...that is so much more than a gay doctor and more a doctor who happens to be...gay.

Yeah, I just finished playing catch up and EH was rocking that dress. Such a throwback to her beginnings and I loved it.

3-29 NINA!!!! Walked right back in and it was like she NEVER left. Loved seeing her with Tracy and then when I realized that it was two WRITERS talking...my writer heart did a little giggle. And yes on her lighting into Abby. Not as good as Amanda, but I could live for just watching TC act. And Abby is lucky Nina didn't slap her. I loved how the camera angle was, too...as close to an old school Y&R angle as we have gotten lately. I am also loving that when scenes are going on that there are extras AND cast members sitting in the background. Diane vs Phyllis continues to entertain. And the writing for 3-28...who did that because Diane and Phyllis read each other down. And YAAASSSS DIANE!!! SLAP THAT HEFFA!!! Bring it? Diane BROUGHTH it!!! Meanwhile, Phyllis continued to spin that web and I liked that Summer did not immediately fall for it. I loved that Jack and Kyle wanted to doubt, but Kyle's phone was found. I am feeling beats. And I know above I said I still am smarting from the lack of a Audra/Noah/Allie triangle, but AL's 'if looks could kill' stare at Audra when Audra gave Kyle his phone has now sold me on throwing Audra in Kyle/Summer direction. Hmmmmm as I watched that Victor/Jill scene. If Devon/Lily have resolved their differences, where is this story going? It seems like Devon might take up McCall Unlimited. But it seems like JC is still leaving it open to keep Devon vs Lily alive. I found that Nina/Christine talk interesting. Are the writers trying to show cracks in that marriage with Paul finally? Or just working toward another Danny/Christine moment? Speaking of...GINA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love seeing her and Danny. I just wished that they had given them more of an entrance which I've felt all the returning characters so far have gotten. That Billy/Chelesa kiss was Didn't want it. Didn't need it. Leeanna though (not to mention Chloe's dress and her remembering her fashionista roots)...LOVE. Leeanna has really been a breath of fresh air throughout these anniversary episodes and she has chemistry with EVERYONE. Can we keep her??? She's the kinda of busybody that has been missing on this show. And the lady is a vamp. The episodes were so good in fact, I went ahead and spoiled myself on tomorrow. Yeah, THAT'S a doozy. But I'll wait to see it in its entirety.

Now that some time has passed, I feel the intro looks good...at least on my flat tv screen vs on clips. That said...I get the vibe that as the year goes on...if it is continuing...that they will adjust it as needed to make it look better.

I did not hate the recast, but Tonya Boyd was just something else. And her 'Darling's. Just *chef's kiss*
