  1. Hahahahaha!!!! Oh, you!!! re: Brandi.

You do remind me that I haven't say anything DALLAS since I got caught up.

LeeAnne has been resonating for a while with me and last week sealed it for me. She really has been trying to be the best version of herself and those girls (okay, Brandi and Ashley Abbott) just do not like it AT ALL. And she threw out true tea about Ashley and her friendship and the difference between being someone's best friend and not being someone's best friend. And all of that just hit a nerve. That whole situation actually. And I'm from the South as well so...LOL!!!

I did like more info on Cary last week. And I wanted to find time to learn more about her cousin's music.

Go on, Kameron!!! Stir that pot. Loved her showdown and Southern shade she threw at Ms. Ashley last week.

Ashley, Ashley, Ashley...that second season curse is U-G-L-Y!!!!

Sounds like Brandi might get her compuppance like that rumor said so YAAAAAAY!!!!

And really enjoying Stephanie a lot this season...especially since she appears to be becoming her own person.

Of course they're having a good time. They are high-fiving each other on their plan to oust LVP from the show once and for all. It won't be peaceful for long, though. I wonder who will turn on who first?

Welp. That's that, then. :( End of an era. She has refused to film with the other women for over two months so clearly she is done with the whole shebang. As the Jezebel article points out, she's leaving at a time when the franchise kind of sucks. I assume she will stay with VPR.

Maybe this will give RHOBH a new lease of life. Or maybe the show will turn into another RHOV as the hyenas turn on each other. Or worse, it stays deathly boring because everybody wants to show how 'nice' it is without LVP 'stirring the pot.'

What I want to know is: will LVP be attending S9 reunion?

    THIS.

And I am sure it would be interesting if the girls go the way of RHOV Season 2 from what little I saw of it. It was vicious.

I agree with you in comparison to the last episode, but I really enjoyed episode 7 (another Joan episode no surprise). Episode 8 was just awful and I found this episode to be much of the same, aside from the Joan highlight.

WOW.  That felt like ages ago now. I thought Joan had not been in two episodes because I LOVED the TfTC homage.

    FINALE TONIGHT!!!

This was another comparably weak episode. So I'm glad it ends next week.

Joan's scenes were far too brief but she got to say "F*ck no, dahling, you were prophesied!" and for me that was worth the entire episode.

See? I disagree. After the last two episodes this was a good one. And wow at Anastasia.

That said, I do agree with Dame Joan. Why so brief? And that line was the highlight of the night. lol.

I think the RHOA ratings are find. I found it a very strong premiere and they know it’s a transitional season which is probably why promotion wasn’t heavy. It’ll build as the season and drama starts. Kandi said there is tons of stuff that was left out of the trailer. We know Tanya, Marlo and Shamari are central to lots of the drama but we have hardly seen anything from them.

Im going to say so far so good for ATL.

I for one can't wait for the Japan trip where we get to see whatever the reveal about Tanya was that may the producers consider adding her last minute down to the point that I expect her to be in the intro post-Japan.

A little too much exposure on Porsha, but I'm in a place where I don't mind seeing her now. That said...she could do better looks wise than that guy IMHO. lol.

I thought it was a nice fun reboot.

    DALLAS

    TONIGHT!!!!

The thing about when Schwartz calls people out (as he seems to do with James in this season's trailer) is that he is averse to confrontation and averse to drama...so when HE is the one flipping out, you know the person 1) has it coming and 2) is going to have problems with everyone adjacent to Schwartz because although he's a flake and cheated on Katie (he's no saint), he is also not an assh*le. He is a nice guy and when the nice guy is willing to get scrappy, there's a reason for it.

Agreed re BH. I want LVP to leave midseason like Jeana Keough did on OC. Let the rest of them destroy each other.

ALL OF THIS. I said this at work all the time about myself...and people don't seem to get it. lol. If I am bringing it up, it means I saw a pattern. If you get attitude with me calling it out, well...then you get...

As for LVP, it is sounding more and more like they might just be the case from articles I see here or there. It seems like she has stopped filming completely except for VP related stuff and her causes.

I used to like Scheana in the first season but that quickly faded once I realized how desperate she was to be in with the “cool” girls. I think it’s pretty obvious that Arianna had real feelings for Scheana (season 3, 4) whereas Scheana just liked the attention.

Also, I’m so over Lala’s wannabe gangsta ass. I’m gonna need someone to bitch slap her back to reality. You’re from Utah, sweetie.

    THIS.

It's why I liked last season when Schwartz (of all people) called her out on her shallowness.

I'm also hoping that with the release of this trailer, they will FINALLY release the RHoBH trailer so we can separate fact from fiction with those ladies.

It appears Gina is going to try her damndest to get me to like her when she calls out Tamra’s two faced ass.

lol. But will she back down in the end?

Hmmm...then again in RL, Gina has not liked Tamra when she appears on WWHL and vice versa so...

Apologies, Cheap. Couldn't get the link to post without a quote.

Reserving judgment until the intro is actually released to see how they sound.

Is Tamra never going to own her part in bashing Shannon all season?

Probably not. We need another Lizzie type who can set up a takedown except unlike Lizzie won't back down.

  11. Well...with taking some time off...I just bingewatched all of HOTEL and...

...my love for Angela Bassett grows...Gaga did not start off well shockingly, but once they turned to her origins and they showed how tragic she was...yeah...she did good. And loved the MURDER HOUSE connection that I only realized due to recaps on the last few weeks of the current season.

That said...I thought liked it, but found it uneven at the same time.

    And darrrrn at Queenie.

Looks like Queen Kenya makes an appearance this season!

She was shown mic'd up last night at a party for Cynthia, which the show was filming. That right there just lets you know that the show is lackluster when they have film weeks after the show was supposed to wrap (i.e. Eva's wedding).

Which should make a lot of people (and @Cheap21) very happy.

    Dallas:

Mama Dee's cooking group, featuring her BFF Marian and Kameron's MIL matriarch, Jimmy, was the standout scene of the episode. Mama Dee is such a deliciously shady... drama queen? Villain? Pot-stirrer? Friendship-whisperer? All of the above? I don't even know how to characterize Mama Dee anymore. I just know that I LOVE HER and need her to be a full housewife! Especially when she was oh-so-casually rinsing a pot right next to Leeanne, Kameron and D'Andra talking, eavesdropping like the busy-body she is..

D'Andra is such a messy, watchable villain. There is so much Freudian stuff underneath that anger. D'Andra seems to be coming slowly undone as she seethes in jealousy over Leeanne and stresses over the family business that she is about to crash and burn. Like a spoiled child, she cannot take an ounce of criticism.

Kameron remains the show's VOR. Sorry you can't handle it, D'Andra!

Thankfully very little Brandi this episode. BTW, is it just me that finds Stephanie & Travis a rather sweet couple? I feel like they are truly into each other, for real.

    Same.

    DALLAS

What a great episode. I'm loving this season.

Mamma Dee's cooking class was like an FBI interrogation over meatloaf, doused in ketchup, served with a side of inspirational 700 Club evangelism.

I agree with @Cat I think Stephanie and Travis are the real deal.

Kameron's MiL...not sure what to make of her. Was she being sincere with D'Andra? It all seemed like a big veiled threat. I have to wonder why these women care about what a segment of high society things of them. As RuPaul once said: If they don't pay your bills, then pay them no mind.

From what I remember of my time in the South which has been half of my life at this point...it is a pretty big deal. I was just talking to my co-worker today whom parents live in Dallas and all that talk Kameron was talking to D'Andra...is true in Dallas and how they act. I know it could be uppity in Arkansas as well.

What I find hilarious though is that POTOMAC started as the show about society rules and now has been bringing the ratchet meanwhile DALLAS started as ratchet and now is a show about society rules. When they switch? :D : D :D

I agree with you and @Cat though...I was so enjoying the episode because it rings so true. I love that the men stayed out of it and got along regardless of the fighting their ladies are doing.

So after all that slow burning we get to see the actual fight between LeeAnne and Ashley Abbott. Should be fun.

^^^I'm with you.  When the witches showed up (and none were named Marie Laveau), I was a bit disappointed.  Coven is my favorite season even tho the finale was crap, but outside of Frances Conroy, I'm not sure I'm still interested.

    I'm 3 eppies behind now.

Then you probably don't want to know what they revealed about her in the timeline. :)

I loved tonight’s episode and it all comes down to Dame Joan. She is having a ball with what they’re giving her and the writers are demonstrating a clear appreciation for the Collins cannon.

The movie that Bubbles is filming at the beginning of the episode was a near shot for shot reimagining of Joan’s segment in the 1972 film Tales From The Crypt. It was so amusing to then see her emerge into the soundstage (with real AHS crew).

Joan has been given the opportunity to play off really strong young actors and she raises the caliber of a scene with Emma Roberts or Evan Peters or Lesley Grossman and she has wonderful screen chemistry with Frances Conroy.

Her later scenes showing her powers were both funny and menacing.

Just a delight for me to see her get to really do something onscreen.

My exact reaction to THE BOLD...AWWWWW H#LLLLL NO, THEY DID NOT JUST RECREATE HER ROLE FROM TALES FROM THE CRYPT. First Joan's character at the start was modeled after Alexis. And now this new character appears to be modeled after another side of Joan. And I was loving it. lol. Bubbles was hilarious. And her face-off with Madison was a hoot. Joan Collins is totally going to get some new fans.

I missed the MURDER HOUSE episode due to work and FX's inability to rerun it on other nights apparently. :X

But this week's episode was pretty good. The AntiChrist may be down, but he isn't out yet.

  15. OC

I haven't seen it all yet, but I do have to say that I thought Vicki was a ho. Twerk it, gurl!!!

Kenya and Porsha buried the hatchet during season 10 and have been supportive towards each other since.

It makes it even more pathetic that Nene holds a grudge when Porsha/Kenya, who literally brawled, have moved on. Same thing is happening on M2M with Mariah/Toya being closer than ever and Quad still holding a grudge against Mariah.

All of this. Makes it sad we probably won't see it on screen this season.
