I know people say it does. However, on my system...I find that they are VERY efficient. And when I've been catching up, they usually have the next episode already up by the time I finish the last one. I think I can think of once/twice it has been late when I've played catch-up. Perhaps it's the fact, I watch it on tv versus online on a phone app maybe?

11-4 I'm glad this episode dropped quickly cuz that HD was something else. And it warmed my heart to see Ed Scott's name. Did it look different? It was slight, but yeah, I see what you all meant. For one, it looked like he took the walls at Crimson Light and the Abbott house and expanded them out. There was a moment where that back area where the booths are at Crimson Light looked wider and same for the doors that go into another section at the Abbot house by the stairs. And I don't recall it being like that at either location. And then that camera angle through the stairs as Summer let herself into the house while Kyle and Claire were making out...totally old school Y&R. That said...the highlight today was Phyllis vs Sharon for me. I agree that MS played it toned down and that made her even more menacing. Like the Phyllis of old. And that I didn't mind. I would love to see her go farther in THIS vein...especially if it brings out Mal Young's Sharon who threatened to make Phyllis the 'one who's left in a puddle.' I was so bored seeing Kyle and Claire about to have sex...until Summer walked in. And I can't believe Summer! lol. She's happily coupled with Chance (who IMHO is more attractive). Why she all up in Kyle's busines? And so soon after they had finally gotten to a good place in their co-parenting. Just ugh. But...potential drama. I was over Billy/Sally. She deserves better. That said...I did like the history references (Y&R Billy loses the Jabot boat, Sally, Steffy, and the foodfight over on B&B). And that ending...MMMMM. BRING ON JILL!!!! I'm soooo ready.

That's not shocking. She's been over MiaBeLying since she lost the first chair at the reunion. I thought it was understood coming into this season that Gizelle has already targeted her.

The fact that this is after my favorite scene of Alexis going in on Carly during Gavin Wolf is just a bonus. Alexis literally had no more time to give to Carly and it was great to watch her light into her. hehe. Cool.

Hair. Makeup. Clothes. Everything was on point. And Alexis got great licks in. It really was a great scene. Everyone gave as good as they got. No propping to be seen at all. I have never disliked Shelly Altman. Now her co-writers on the other hand.

Can I say that NLG looks fine AF? lol. That said...yep...THAT'S Carly, too!!! lmao.

Oh, yes. I do like that JG has been setting up for Jill's return for a while for the wedding and to read Billy for filth. I am also hoping she does the same to Phyllis. I just hope that all the setup for Ashley to return for the wedding also pays off. I've been missing ED something fierce.

IKR!!! I've gotten used to LW as Carly but it's been more molded to LW's personality than LW becoming Carly. But THAT particular moment (and that brief period when she ran things) had CARLY written all over it and LW played it oooooh so well. To the hilt!!! I was watching my screen going...THAT! THAT...IS...CARLY. That meeting and there was one scene where she commanded the bodyguards with the quickness that I remember catching my eye. But alas, they had to make it about Jason and Carly showing mixed feelings as if Carly would have issues using the mob to cover each and every member of her family. I was smh.

And then there's K. Not quite new, but she's a new housewife, so Im counting her. Dont let the sweet exterior fool you bc she is a firecracker. She still dont see it for Ashley and neither do I. Mia thought she ate with that shade about a drug dealer bf, but who cares? And lest we forget...just like 50Cynt did to Shady Phae Phae at the RHOA S7 reunion...K has had subtle shade that cuts when she said 'the face glass' meaning Mia has a craterface while her face is fabulous. So that was the only warning Mia got to keep it cute cuz she CAN go low if Mia wants to go THERE. Oh, yes...oh so back. hehe. I guess Eric WAS the problem. Poor NY. I so agree. I still haven't even watched the reunion yet. Almost scared to now given the bounce back has been superb. So fresh, so new, so exciting.

Awww thank you, Cat. I'm currently at home on an actual off-work weekend playing a bit of catch-up on some personal goals (reviewing The Politics Thread before I start on my voting packet) while decompressing/regrouping from this past weekend and needed to hear that. I do like some of the professional changes I've met over the last few years that I never would have imagine say a decade ago...okay I'm rambling. lol. I do love seeing return guests for sure because I was so nervous when I first started, and it's a joy when I remember ohh this quirky older couple who recommended this mom and pop donut shop that I don't think I'm able to get to, but it sounded great. They have a daughter out there they come to visit and they are always so happy. I loved their vibe. I do hope to see my other guest before she leaves. She was so worried this past weekend that she would not see me, but I said I had requested off a good amount of this past week so she should see me. Considering giving her a gift.

11-1 Easily third place in my viewing though I thought it was an okay week. It's just in comparison to GH and Y&R which both feel like they are gearing up for November Sweeps already, B&B was just kinda there. Though I liked the acknowledgement of Halloween by Sheila. Made me think of her anniversary episode last year. Wow. They are really doing a number on Carter, aren't they? I was happy to see him fight for expanding Forrester into other arenas because it was giving a business story. And I even felt like the writers could set up a potential takeover in a few lines of dialogue. But I agree with Eric and Ridge on that. Better to start small with the jewelry line first, and if it works, do more. And more importantly...do it slowly. But...again glad the jewelry line is a go. Meanwhile, his wanting to be Hope's white knight now that she has been kicked out of Forrester was giving a character turn and that was meh. Though LSV has always been great at giving anger. Just like JMW gives good bitca. And Steffy's been nothing but that this week. I wish people would call out that how she has been acting IS more personal than businesswoman, but alas. And the whole genesis for firing Hope was silly, but soapy. Of course, Hope could have revealed that she was dressing up for Carter, but lol. I guess they want to keep that secret a little bit longer. And then to see the interns (happy to see them again) watch Hope be kicked out. lmao. What is Taylee here? And look who is back next week? Well, since they are still in the credits... Yep. Pretty much.

Regardless of the change in tv models, advertisers still advertise so yes. But seriously, we are about to a remodel and a wedding with some returns on this show, a death and an awakening on GH at the least and Idk what DAYS is planning or B&B will do anything so I expect some story explosions.
