Lol. Ikr. I can understand being over the wink, winks myself. But I mean, the last time Miguel was mentioned, wasn't it to reveal he went on to be a successful singer so it's kinda true. But then again, it was probably said randomly and done in a way to be an eyeroll. And hopefully no flashback scenes.

It sounds like someone missed the part of my post about PM figuring out what works, what is not working, and what could work. I never said all of his choices were good. I however mentioned what I was drawn to in terms of the Rules. He really did!!! Even if there were some episodes...and yes, I admit there were a few...that were boring, they were usually made up for by how much heart was clearly going back into the show. And characters were actually being fleshed out again. I even came around to liking some characters that I either felt nothing for like Dex to some I was indifferent to like Finn. And yes, I was pleasantly surprised when random characters popped up in the middle of the episode like the ABC soaps of old. Yeah, that was my biggest disappointment as well. PM's version of GH was taking shape for sure during May as I can only assume was the sharp learning curve of not having 6 months to decide on what works and doesn't so PM went with his gut and made choices that included seeing Val, Finn, Austin for the dead weight they were and writing them exits, Drew/Nina's feelings deepening, what was about to be Anna/Laura vs Sonny with the slow planning of finding info to use on Sonny and having Molly be the persecutor. There was so much hitting the 'middle' of their arcs. Very clear there was pushback. Ava was herself again. I really was looking forward to Anna/Laura vs Sonny because there were ACTUAL stakes involved with characters that would have had the audience divided. And not to mention what Jason's next steps would be in life with his kids who were also divided over his return...and his love life cuz I...such a Liason fan. lol.

Is he? I thought it has all been in fun. Though outside of GH, I believe he's had good acting scenes in other shows. Ah! I see.

Go, Titan, go!!!! Read them a$$$!!!! And same. There would be more grace without the tea about how a certain person has been back AS CO-HW since May. But since we know THAT particular tea...roast that trick. lol. I am sad to hear that we are back to not getting all the points of views for a storyline. And it sounds like the Heather storyline is now the A plot. Which makes me dread starting last week's episodes. I already said that this Heather storyline won't work without the strong backbone PM would have given it (with all points of view), but now...FORGETABOUTIT!! Good to hear he is still in scenes with Anna. Well he definitely has had no scandals this year. Outside of being on the stage with Madonna. Give me the experiment because it sounds like I'm going to roll my eyes versus the nuance, maturity, and sophistication in the dialogue that drew me in. I'll try my best because I've very much looking forward to the returns, but I feel like I might be hatewatching more than watching. But...if I can make it through slow weeks on Y&R, I'm sure I will be fine here. We'll see.

Not Fake Taylor! lol. KA did have shorter hair when she started. Thus the mop. They did her reintro with so much care so it was not jarring to the audience. So this RB stuff is...a lot.

Yep. I know people hate when I said it, but I felt PM was really using those Rules of Marland to figure out what was working, what was not working, and what COULD work on the canvas before he was going to ship characters off. The best examples being Drew, Nina, Ava off the top of my head. Most of us went from 'when are they leaving' in the case of Drew and Nina to getting invested in their hate sex/blooming relationship. And then Willow made 3. PM very quickly gave characters purpose...some of which was soapy...and it showed. Ava definitely got purpose and that definitely showed. She was definitely a highlight under his run. From the flirtations with Sonny to her feeling hurt when it went nowhere to jealousy with Natalia to all the on-screen AND off-screen scheming she been doing. Under PM, I wanted to see what she would do next and also how she would be written out of the corner she was clearly being written into. But PM also saw his dead weight clearly so he was in the process of writing off characters with what would have been meaty exits. Finn's exit being a case in point. And regardless of the stalling, I felt he would have written just as meaty an exit for Valentin. That was clearly where the Pikeman story was going. But alas... tbf he gave quite a few people some bite. But alas.

Yeah, I would say the same about Summer as well. And I agree. Another case of how JG cares about the Abbotts. Cuz yes, all of this Summer vs Kyle stems from that kidnapping. And he's been playing it. Even the fact that Audra has history with Kyle that is part of the reason their marriage was destroyed plays into this. I like that cuz it allows the writers to play to AL's strength as an actress and that is making MM bring his A-game in scenes.

Hehe. A little bit. Though I would suspect that I would have loved the growth of Natalia over PM versus Old/New Writer. VERY.

Lord...and that movie is doing good, too. It does make me think of Colleen Hoover (the author of the book)'s recent article in PEOPLE and her talking about how some fans have issue with that book and the romanticizing of DV as well. So...apt.

I meant to say something the other day, but this week has been utter hell. But I agree. JL has more definitely grown as an actress over the last year and it's been great to watch. She's even been given credit where it's due with her naysayers on this board. But I also agree that yes, there has been time she still feels like a recurring player. Or maybe I can understand the critique on that. I am happy to see her when I see her. But at the moment, she really doesn't have anything going on that isn't C plot. Perhaps at some point her brother will appear and that will give more story. And we always have Natalia. I haven't even thought about that!! The Kristina/Joss rivalry really has vanished again, hasn't it? One of the many things I did like about PM was that what was started before him, PM kept going. And we got some good Kristina vs Joss scenes again even with slilted writing. But since He Who Shall Not Be Named is back, I guess I do wonder if a Kristina/Dex/Joss thing will happen. Because it did look like the writing might go there before the surrogate storyline.

He just does it so well. Especially in this storyline. Normally, it would bug me that we are going back to Victor manipulating his family. It's like a lazy trope that JG likes to do, and I know I've mentioned how OVER that I am. I am also sure that I've mentioned that JG seems to love the Abbotts more than the Newmans because when the Abbotts are on the frontburner, you can feel it in the writing that JG cares. He plays their beats. The story...silly or not...appears to have some structure to it. There appears to be actual interest. It doesn't hurt that the actors/actresses involved usually bring their A game. Perhaps it because this storyline is Victor wanting payback on Jack helping Nikki during her relapse...but this storyline plays so different from Victor's usual manipulation. How he weaved a web to back Audra to take over Tucker's company and play up Kyle's insecurities (which was in a stupid storyline and the only false note on the Abbott story front for JG) to get him to be co-head of said company which is for cosmetics...and people STILL don't know it's Victor behind it all yet was very well done. And all to go after Jabot. Again. I felt this storyline has been thought out for JG in connection to the Newmans. Or perhaps that is because it's connected to the Abbotts. Now the Chancellor story beat....yeah, it's not my favorite, but I really would love for someone to wipe that smug look off Billy's face because I'm tired of his propping and how JG just pushes him into everyone's story when he doesn't even need to be there. And Victor works for me.

8-2 Okay...credit where credit is due. Decent week. MTS is a powerhouse, and EB is all kinds of win when Victor is Victor-ing. BUT when they are in sync? PERFECTION. That the target is BILLY...who continued to irk me all week is a bonus. And ooooh how I loved Victor/Nikki sticking it to him so bad. So bad he had to do that lame Billy move of scheduling an event. Y&R IS overdue an event and I would love for Billy to stage one and we see it ON SCREEN so Victor can steal the company AND Billy finds out about the Adam/Chelesa fling. Wishful thinking...??? And I feel I mentioned it, but I love we have a young story again. This show is the YOUNG and the Restless. I loved Daniel catching on to Lucy and how it parallels his history with Cassie. And I'm actually intrigued to see where it goes. Moreso because even Faith is picking up that she might not be treating Lucy nicely. But Faith...is human. Surprisingly relatable to me. And is it me...or is Sharon and Daniel giving off some uncomfortable chemistry? I mean...would Sharon go there? Would Daniel? Meanwhile, FakeCameron's scenes with Sharon have been intriguing as well. And now they MIGHT be more than about Sharon's meds? Okay...what is it?

8-6 THE GOOD...I liked everything surrounding the Brooke's Bedroom relaunch. The scenery is definitely nice. And the message I continue to feel is a great one. And KKL is rocking it. Of course. And Steffy is giving great snark. THE BAD...I was intrigued by the idea of the Mystery Woman. Perhaps I would still be irked if I had been unspoiled, but definitely irked seeing the scene. Rebecca Budig???? Yeeeah NO. They did IMHO an excellent job in reintroducing Taylor in the form of Krista Allen. It was so old school in fact how she was reintroduced. From reintroducing her slowly by characters we like to her being made over for a while to look like HT's Taylor. And then...she got moments and then storylines. So I was sad to see her vanish. And now Taylor is back like THIS???

Now that I've seen it for myself...Uhhhhh...it couldn't be Krista Allen...who they took great cares with to reintroduce her as the recasted Taylor? This...just looks like mess. On the other hand, I guess that means Violet's mama is never picking her up. At least not this year.

Now that I've gotten sleep and one job out of the way lol. Well like @NothinButAttitude said anyone is going to bring it up...I bet on Adriana. I first i ignored it, but it seems like it has gotten all kinds of traction. And so soon after his Larsa breakup reveal, too. smh. I like the chart because like I've said all season...while dynamics have shifted...the couches do match who has really been around who for the most part. And I'm all for the Brooks/Sara duo (and Lesa makes 3). And it does seem Ayan is with the other two per Tuesday's WWHL. I knew I forgot some good reunions re: RHOA S9 and the recent SLC reunion. Tbf Kandi v Shady Phae Phae was also building up from tail end of S7 to S9 as well. And RHOA for sure can take a meh season and usually give a great reunion. And the first to give an awesome online reunion. And that reminds me...reunions do too be referenced on the shows. Even if it's the generic 'the last time I saw them...' usually with a cued flashback to the reunion.

Once I saw the article online yesterday, I thought about our talk in the last year about how it is STILL a relevant show to this day so a reboot/continuation made me think of you. Always speaking things into the Universe like you did with Heather/Daniel/Lily.
