I like that Maxie and Spin made it back together now that they are older and much wiser and it really felt like it slowly came together organically. That said...I wouldn't mind seeing Maxie/Lucky or Maxie/RecastMichael thing down the road.

I think with this show, humor should be used at the right time and with the right people and definitely...depending on the characters...need not be slapsticky. That said, Maxie is a character who benefits from having humor which was always a part of her personality with KS in the role. So glad it's back with her because she's given some of the funniest and snarkiest moments over the last few months. Doesn't seem out of place at all. And I like having that character type around.

Well I took the liberty of watching the live thread earlier on my Hulu who I saw the end of the episode with the next week scenes. Apparently ABC already went ahead and released a sneak peek for next week involving the character who is clearly missing from this story as referenced above that said character does appear next week. For those waiting for that character's reaction to the news revealed at the end of today's episode.
