  1. 6-25 Well, BF's Cane might not have chemistry with Lily, but you know who he has chemistry with? MM's Amanda. I admit they were great, but you know I love a good henchwoman. And I LOVE Amanda checking him about her relationship with Devon. One thing Amanda doesn't do is mix business and pleasure so that was so her. Ugh at Giggly Heffa interrupting them. And you know who Lily has chemistry with? DAMIAN. I enjoyed every scene they had this episode...basically being the equivalent of a phone book since all they did was play cards. God, they looked so good together. And JR was giving so much swagger. Let me fan myself. lol. That was all that was there. Other than those boring Adam/Chelesa scenes that was only relevant because Adam found out that Cane is doing what I was saying Damian should have been doing behind everyone's back back when he was the head of Dumas...buying up stuff without anyone knowing. And then could have revealed this on this trip. And that just irked me more cuz again...it's so clear Cane is where Damian should be. Just ugh.
  2. Lol. I didn't mean it that way!
  3. I agree. It definitely is a different kind of soap. And I feel there are stakes slowly (emphasis on the word slow) being brought to it in the...hmmm FOUR months (and a week) it's been on the air. I would say it is giving old school Y&R with the pacing if anything. And as I've said before, they are still finding their rhythm on that. Among other things. That I do see they have gotten better (not perfect) then when they premiered. My theory was...and that was because it just stood out as odd to me when I saw Dani with a glass when Andre came 'home' to her in the white pants...is that might have actually been dropped. I didn't think, for example, that the Crooked Cop storyline was dropped though it spent weeks on that backburner so seeing it loop back around to be a part of the Martin's Secret storyline was very well-played for me. On the backburner with very little mention but not dropped. Back to Dani though...I felt like we at least saw her struggle with a need to drink for a few week and then it just abruptly stopped. And if anyone was going to mention her drinking, I would think it would be Andre when he saw her the episode I mentioned above. But he didn't. So I am figuring that was an actual dropped storyline. Now...if Dani winds up spiraling badly after seeing Andre and Ashley together next week and it pops up again...I will gladly eat crow however. She is overdue another moment. That's what I said. People are LIVID. And it would be one thing if it was our fans who have always been soap fans but it's coming from a lot of new soap fans as much as old ones.
  4. After it premiered...yes. But it has not been confirmed if it has reached the episodes that were filmed after they saw the feedback from the audience and started any form of course correcting. Kinda like DAYS and its filming and waiting for them to get to the part of episodes where you know they heard the issues with the stories and course corrected. Unless you are confirming with this statement that the show has confirmed. Then I can see why people having issues would have them now versus before now.
  5. Oh, lord...not Cane doing what I wanted Damian to be doing. lol smh.
  6. hehe. I feel that. But it does allow me to play catch up. But I can't believe they are letting people hang. And I am loving how fans are pressed online. Great to see that even new fans have developed the soap bug of feeling a way when they can't get new episodes of 'their stories.' Warms my heart.
  7. I know!! I am still thinking of me having to explain it here and seeing how structured it was. I was shocked at how it was good and had a twist every few weeks. And I enjoyed it cuz I at least guessed the first one...that Damian already knew who Nate was when they 'met' and played him. Little did I know, that it wasn't Damian at all. It was good soap. In this run, the best JG has done writing wise other than this story (until now) has been Ashley's Alters...and that's mostly to the strength of Eileen Davidson as an actress...and the original Takeover story with Nate to Imani's Lady Macbeth and how it was Nate vs Devon and how it played on their drama with Elena. Not to mention the rift between Devon and Lily and how vicious that got because it also played on their history. Ugh. Cane.
  8. Speak on it!!! In my game of catch up, I have already noticed his presence was greatly reduced even though he's still in plot so...fingers crossed that Frank has moved on to his next Flavor of the Month...which appears to be NuMichael.
  9. IKR!!! No matter how much the HW himself seem to be trying to drown his own story in the water due to focusing on every story with tired characters, that story STILL had legs. It was actually different, refreshing, and actually involved characters who did not usually get stuff to go. And strong actors and actresses. But...same. Damian was actually something different. And I was looking forward to him mixing it up with Victor, romancing Lily, and what he would be up to next with Amy. And the fact this was all happening with a new character AND a black character...I was in awe. Still in shock at how it all fell apart. For Cane. CANE???
  10. I mean I thought it was clear she was to be the spoiler between Kristina and Blaze. And then at some point...the brother would appear to keep her around. But we all knew it was love at first sight for Frank when she was put in between the more fascinating to watch Ava and Sonny during the tale of the drugged meds. Very. And then shading ex-stars at the same time? Yeeeah NO.
  11. Yep. Pretty much. Sidwell will be next. Even if it's by January of next year.
  12. Yeah, before this twist...I could see it happening...and I was excited since she was the only reason Damian stayed in town before he found out about his mother. Of course, that was back when he was cunning and using others as decoys rather than being a decoy himself. But let me not get started. I don't either. I am sorry to say, but I will be surprised if he makes it out of the location shoot alive since all of his scenes with his connections in Genoa City felt final and every part of his storyline including his love interest has gone to BF...making him now irrelevant.
  13. 6-25 I would call this the 'Thursday' episode. lol. A story shift from Martin's Secret back to Dani/Bill/Hayley which has been in C plot mode, but is not the main main story focus this week. I really like Teresa's breakdowns still because it's giving consistency in plot...something that will be needed when the climaxes hit. And the B/C plots this episode were holding my interest. Still...it still felt uneven overall though that coda at the end was EVERYTHING. I don't like that they skipped to the next day rather than let the audience in on the meeting between everyone involved in Martin's Secret. So for that...I will eat SOME crow. I also figured that I guess the writers want to tease it out just a little bit longer. Still...disappointed. I would have rather Martin had gotten into it with his dad over the ON-SCREEN reveal that he changed Kenny's face rather than Martin tell it secondhand to Bill. I like the confirmation, but hate that that was a scene that should have played out in the moment AND on-screen. And then nothing of the plot until the end when Martin starts to set up 'the trap' for Kenny. I love all things having to do with Dani/Andre. And the fact that it is slowly coming out even with external and internal conflicts happening has been making it fascinating to watch. I feel it's the second B story behind the Doug/Vanessa/Joey storyline that has been fleshed out organically. And I guess someone felt the same way given this has probably been the most that Dani and Ashley have been around each other. And knowing what's going on with both while neither lady knows about the other (yet) is just so soapy. Add on Bill not knowing what's up with Dani and Andre when Andre is right in front of him is just juicy. And the near misses going on with eyes and body languages. And speaking of near-misses, awww at Ted missing his chance to tell his wife that their son is in trouble because she figured that Ted was talking about Dani/Andre. It was like something out of DAYS OF OUR LIVES'S playbook circa 90s. And I was not mad at it. I liked Eva encouraging Ted to tell her. And I loved Ted reading Nicole down. I love Nicole, but she was being insufferable. DD was playing it to the hilt though. And of course, I love Nicole's confrontation with Andre. I didn't mind the Kat/Tomas scenes cuz...BUBBLE. hehe. He did the right thing. I don't know if Kat was feeling some insecurity or what, but it felt out of character for her to want to lose her virginity right now. Good that Tomas did not go through with it. And now about that coda...so...DANI WAS RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!! Hayley is FAKING IT!!! Well, well, well. That is sure to be the thing that torpedoes her with Bill and I'm not sorry for it. lol. But it does put Dani/Bill/Hayley back in A story focus again down the road so le sigh. This episode showed that with this plot twist Hayley will now have something to do, Bill has Martin's Secret, and Dani is dealing with Andre drama so it could be a nice mix as they come in and out of each other's storylines. And all of this just when Bill and Dani have come to an understanding and were getting along, too. smh. Darn Hayley. Rewatching the episode...I admit that I liked how well done it was in dialogue...it was there the WHOOOOOLE time with how the doctor was acting and how Bill was wording things...and okay, Hayley's guilty looks...but it went over my head. Well-played. And watch...since Ashley is the one who suspects...I wonder if she will start to tell Dani, but Dani will be DANI and Ashley won't tell her out of clear spite.
  14. Uh one was use as a near miss to build tension on the best storyline. The other...was actually a fun family moment.
  15. And if it does air, I'm sure it will be stretched over a set of episodes.
  16. 6-24 'What is this?' SAME, Lily. SAME. So Cane is willing to give all that Dumas power up to Victor for CHANCELLOR?? INCLUDING the name? And now he is speaking in riddle to Lily as if HE is ALSO a figurehead. I can't. Outside of the camera angle on BF's...uh...back, I'm not feeling any of his Cane/Lily scenes though I will admit that Cane would be saying how he misses Lily under DG, too, so yeeeeah NO. Oh, and I do like all the Charlie/Mattie mentions. Meanwhile, I saw more chemistry in the moments where Damian was comforting Lily over the reveal. Kinda soft. Kinda kind. A little bit easy on those eyes with a smile with her. And I rolled my eyes at the (much needed though it was) recap on Damian's part of this story. And it was nice to hear in dialogue that Dumas did have Damian running all the companies though they never met and only interacted through Cane's assistant. I continue to feel that this would be sooooo much better if Damian truly was Dumas. Sorry. Trivial note...god he looks soooo good in this episode. And so did Chance in that half-open shirt. lol. And then that coda...so we are on our way to a murder mystery...? Le sigh.

hahahaha For all its flaws, the best thing about GH is when the pool set is out.
  18. 6-24 So far, so good. Nothing was irking me (except for Taylee) like how Y&R is currently irking me. Where is new BTG when I need it? lol. I can't believe that Will would put himself in a position to be shirtless to be that close to Luna. I did giggle at the lipstick camera. And Electra feeling a way about it. But I'm not bored at it silly though it is. I love that Nick's very presence is driving story. And there's such an air of mystery to how long he is here for. I can't wait to see what happens with him and Brooke. Meanwhile, Taylee and her proposal...GIRL, BYE. All because you know Ridge will sniff around Brooke with the quickness now that Nick is back.
  19. Well I guess the 'ride' is over. Well...it's not like they use that set much anyway since they have the other bar.

I was ever so grateful to you for pointing it out. And he was like that the whoooole episode from what I can tell.
  21. That's been me...but with DAYS.
