Indeed...the only mutual people Joey and Doug have in common so far is Randy and Vanessa. And I'm sure Joey would have said his name. So the plot thickens. So far (cuz I'm rewatching), I would say no. But it seems like it's doing quick primetime cuts for the breaks. And I did feel the ending was awkward when I watched earlier. But I know I'm in the minority when it comes to the cuts.

Very. Crossed with Blair Waldorf. So ready. That feud continues to give. And Tomas SHOULD know better.

That was a pretty good performance. Wait. Does that mean that Joey is working for someone else that is trying to get to Doug? Eva continues to give SMG Kendall Hart and I love every minute of it. Same. Can't wait to watch it later.

Ooooo not Anita throwing that other side of her at Vernon like that. How unexpectedly vicious. And @ReddFoxx I think you were right last week because it ain't the case today with what's under the hood and it shows. In more ways than one.

DAYS: Cwikly/Ford (the new writing team) interviews with spoilers
Thank you for this. I figured that they would want to repair the damage RC did to Bo/Hope so I'm all for that.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
To be fair...judging from the scene in the trailer...they did. That's why I was pointed in mentioning that the scene appeared to be cut if they are moving past Kenya. I even think they pulled a S5 RHOP Cha Cha at Wendy's event on Kenya because I want to say the scene did appear last week with the same outfits but no Kenya in sight though she was there. Which might explain why that episode last week was so disjointed.

Walking into the episode and the first thing I see is karaoke. And thought about all the people here that don't like singing episodes. And myself like liking karaoke for the most person for personal reasons and only to support my friends who have karaoke nights. Though I loved seeing Anita's reaction at Naomi and Dani calling her out. Such a black mama look. lol. And oooooooooo the HAVE-NOTS!!!! And awww hell no...not Eva with Tomas when Kat is not around. uh oh now.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RHOA All this talk about Kenya and I still haven't even talked about last episode and its aftermath. LOL. I agree with the majority. It was a pretty good episode, but it was also disjointed at the same time. All the stuff having to do with the aftermath fell flat for me. Why? Because it was Production selling Brit the Victim...which does not fly for me because I'm Team Kenya and saw what went down. And Brit did not help her case at all by episode's end when she did exactly what she did before...just on another cast member. Victim...WHERE?? Not to mention not having Kenya's point of view. Outside of that, the episode got going. I enjoyed seeing the individual scenes...some more than others. And then we had Kelli's Peace Brunch which was anything, but. And Brit vs Angela...Lord. Ms. Angela...had me hollering. And the ending with the dancing just left a sour taste in my mouth. So it's case by case for me going forward. PORSHA. She should be worried. She did not do anything worthwhile this episode. And then she bowed out of the Peach Brunch. And the audience got to see what the show would be like without her...and...it was GOOD. And this was all newbies and two vets doing great without the 'star.' Again, she should be worried. DREW. Yeah, her dress at the Peach Brunch was a NO. But I loved that she got her little digs in on Brit. Cuz Brit stayed using Kenya's phrases rather than make her own 'moments.' Just saying. Meanwhile, we got a little bit of drama with her and Tampa Ralph. And nice to see her sister. SHAMEA. Hehe...not her and Angela tag-teaming Brit. I did love that. But while I felt the dancing at the end fell flat, I did love that Shamea was trying to be peacemaker. KELLI. I loved her Peace Brunch. She had it so organized. And she had SECURITY! Come through, Baby Kenya!! My only sadness for her was the fact she was being a good friend to a bad person. And her storyline with her ex-husband. Poor Chloe. I was just sad for her that that 'man' is such a dead-beat to treat a child like that. ANGELA. OMG!!! I knew she was going to be a dark horse, but WOOOOOW. She was EVERYTHING this episode. Her poking holes in Brit's attempts to smear Kenya's name more was superb. And then she started to gather her with the insurance tea. And then her 'thought so' took me out. She was so enjoyable. BRIT. Outside of her admitting to the scrubbing...which is just common sense frankly...I was not here for her and Production damage control. Moreso because she's either lying or just doubling down period rather than her taking her own kind of accountability. Not helped by her trying to play victim in order to deflect for the parts of the incident that are HER fault. And to make it worse...she still keeps the name 'Kenya' in her mouth. Usually every other sentence. Everyone else in the cast moved on enough that they can focus on their own stories. Meanwhile...Brit don't have jack other than a 'feud.' I loved Angela calling her out. KENYA. So they cut the rest of her scenes I see. Let's see where tonight goes...

GH: April 2025 Discussion Thread
Very. I always liked Megan Ward as an actress and to see her on a soap...I liked. She was definitely a different kind of woman for Sonny than I was used to. And different from Brenda who, along with Carly, will always reign supreme above all of Sonny's many women. The fact that the writers finally created a woman who stood out for those two was a marvel. And then it went to Hades.

B&B: April 2025 Discussion Thread
4-15 Lord...the dialogue on this show. For all the good dialogue in the Poppy/Sheila catfight, there was the silliness of it in the Will/Luna and Daphne/Carter scenes. And Brooke talking about having class? GIRL, BYE. lol. I don't know. I felt that having Poppy and Sheila getting closer before she found out Finn was Luna's father was obvious set-up for this moment. And what was Poppy thinking? It's SHEILA. LOL. And she gave fair warning and Poppy had to slap her twice. smh. And other than the ending with a cake fight, it was giving. So sad it went silly at the end. Ugh. Shut up, Taylee. It almost makes me want Brooke to take Ridge back out of spite. That said...I didn't like Brooke eavesdropping and then thought she was going to confront Daphne. GIRL, BYE. Will/Electra was just typical B&B silliness. And all I could think was that either Will is going to get drugged. Or he will fall for Luna's wiles. But...so far, so good.

4-14 I thought it was decent. What continues to fascinate me is the growing friendship with Sharon and Phyllis. I shouldn't even be interested, but yet I find myself in spite of it. And their thing with the hug was funny. Again, if they keep going in new directions I will probably keep me hooked. I did like the coda with Traci and the two of them. It was nice to get some aftermath. That said, I don't like that Traci is leaving home to recover. I would rather see her recover in town. SHUT UP, VICTORIA. Let Nick and Sharon be.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I listened last night and I felt she addressed everything (to date) that needed to be addressed because quite a few people are running around like Chicken Little just speaking to speak and it was getting highly annoying to watch such misinformation out and about and people being willingly obtuse just because they hate Kenya. I liked being vindicated in the fact that YES she did go to Production. I don't even see why anyone would be surprised...especially people who have always watched RHOA...since Kenya does have a history of doing the legal/professional thing behind the scenes first. Because these shows do have an HR department. Interesting and also not surprising at the same time, Production DID edit down the scene at the Bank dinner. I felt she did everything right even if it means she is NEVER coming back to RHOA. And she might have a future as a show host because I found her very entertaining.

Well I know the running theory is that what if the ex-wife is Jan, Ashley's mother. lol. But I would rather the 2nd family be Jacob's since we already have backstory (and potential chemistry) already established. I also think the show has done a good job of establishing Joey's reputation outside of the gambling storyline for the mentions you just mention as well. Jacob's side plot with his partner and his father. Other characters not even in that storyline like Ted (and the mom reveal was so well-done). So again...the cliffhanger works for me. I mean...I'm not even sure if there IS an ex-wife given Joey has already lied about his mother. Look forward to finding out. Ha

Well I did tune in to see the Willow vs Carly catfight. And yeeeah that was good. I've been wanting Carly to slap the taste out of her mouth since Michael got burned. YES, CARLY please GET...ON...THE...LOOSE. I did like seeing Diane give Alexis the hard truth that Kristina should have been committed ages ago. Still running around town calling that baby by the wrong name. Also good to see Liz and Ric are okay. While I'm here I do hate that it seems like Michael is quickly recovering off-screen. I would have had him in a coma off-screen so that when the inevitable recast happen, he could just shock/surprise folk after six months of pulling manipulate strings behind the scenes. And I do find it funny that NOW the New/Old writers want to poke at Sonny's friendship with Laura and Anna given that PM did a better job of that very thing by dissolving the friendships in his run because he saw the illogicalness of it in the first place. So...the side-eye.

BTG: April 2025 Discussion Thread
Yeah, I am going to disagree. Doug being cornered by Joey is a good cliffhanger. Now as good as the cliffhangers of the first two weeks of the show? Nope. But for me, it is good because anyone who has watched GH knows how dangerous an evil character played by Jon Lindstorm can be. And we already know Joey ain't a good character. Of course, that does play on if you have a history with GH (and I don't recall if his version of Craig on ATWT was written as evil). I know JL can bring the menace so seeing him was an uh oh for me. It was a play on perspective which I don't mind. If the A story of this week was supposed to be the gambling tale...well...I didn't mind. We got Doug's POV and Vanessa's POV. And I do feel the writing did a good job of getting me at least somewhat invested. So the cliffhanger works. That said...I do wish they had stronger A stories for each week like they had in their beginning weeks. But...I understand. We would all be tired (and some already are) if the focus was kept on Dani/Bill/Hayley (A Story 1). It is clear that Nicole/Ted/SilkPress Sheila is being set to climax/turn at May Sweeps (A Story 2). And then Martin's secret (A Story 3) has been a VERY slow burn that it is literally about to fall off the backburner...which is disappointing. But the why might be that it will be THE story that will start to develop once Nicole/Ted/SilkPressSheila (which IMO has been well paced out and layered-pun unintended hehe) climaxs/turns. I think it's clear that I like the B and C plots and the characters as well. We have gotten the time to get to know characters which is great. But I kinda wish that while we were getting all of these developments that they had kept a central focus on one of the above 3 A stories within all the weeks to hold intrigue and interest. The fact that we have a great rivalry between Kat and Eva...which is an offshoot of the Nicole/Ted/SilkPress story...showed how well done that story is and it's not even the main story in that plot. But outside of a story for Anita (and I love slow burns), I can be patient. I know they are still finding their rhythm. Now I might change my tone by the end of May Sweeps and eat crow, but that's just how I feel and where the direction of the stories appear to be going from interviews and comments. And I will be shocked if their May Sweeps is not a great one. I agree. My favorite scenes from yesterday. I have been enjoying all the Anita/Naomi scenes. And like I just said...I can't wait for her story to start. I like that idea. Hahaha. Oh, you.
