Whoa.....Jill and Michael were walking fire hazards with the amount of mousse in their hair and Brittany sporting the 1989 Texas Beauty Queen look. Speaking of hair LOL at Jack's comment about Lisa (That pile of hair).
I always wondered why Colby Chester (Michael Crawford) was written out. He was on till about 1991.

Those late 60's/early 70's hairstyles on Peter Link and C.C. Courtney are horrible. The clothes are terrible too.

Wow Pat Sajak on Days.

LOL....they do similar dance moves in the Get Up An Boogie clip too.

A classic Y&R compilation I ran across.

Jane was excellent as Angela. It's hard to think of anyone else playing that role.

I wish some more early Y&R stuff like that would show up. I wonder if Janice Lynde has complete episodes of her Y&R work or if those were clips she had used for an emmy or demo reel ?
There seems to be lots of late 70's/early 80's GH available, but no Y&R. Somebody had to be taping in those days.

I wonder why TV Guide bought it just to take it down ? Maybe because a lot of celebs were pissed about being trashed on a forum that popular ?

Thanks for answering my question about the Jennifer/Wanda switch. I remember being surprised when that happened onscreen.
That Janice Lynde special screams 1976 bicentennial disco fever......those dancers are just too much for words. Only in the 70's could you get away with wearing a white polyester jump suit shirtless with a scarf.
John McCook looks like a flamboyant Evel Knievel with some Donny Osmond tossed in.

I stumbled across this youtube post for Janice Lynde. There are scenes from around 1974 of Janice as Leslie in the mental hospital.

A few years back on Dateline NBC, Ted was shown the Jump The Shark web site with his listing . You could tell he was hurt even though he put up a front.
I miss that web site so bad. Those message boards gave me hours upon hours of joy reading all the outrageous and nasty comments about shows and actors. One of the funniest and most active was the My Three Sons board where they trashed Dawn Lyn who played Dodie. Dawn got wind of it and she got into some serious brawls with other posters. The site owner highlighted Dawns comments in red to confirm that it really was her.......LOL

I always wondered why they replaced the original actress Wanda Acuna with Jennifer Gatti as Keesha ? Wanda I think is Puerto Rican and Jennifer I assume is Italian.
I googled Jennifer and found her facebook page. She recently married another woman.

Yes, I remember that about Gregory and Randi being married. The dunk tank was my favorite too along with the swimming and kayak race. So many great stars and series back in those days.

I love those Battle Of The Network Stars. Speaking of Mark Harmon, Mark is Tracy's Uncle. He is the brother to Tracy Nelson's mother Kris.

Love the pics of Sherry Mathis. They are so of the era (circa 1981/82)

Yes Billy did favor Dean. They should have been cast as brothers in something. Billy was married to Tracy Nelson (Rick's daughter) for many years. I think they met while Tracy was doing Square Pegs. Billy went on to do the Perry Mason TV film series after William Katt decided to leave.

Thanks for the article. She looks nothing like the red haired Pamela Peters Solow version of Peggy. Patricia didn't last too long since Pam returned to the show by 1980.
Peggy Brooks is one of those characters that Bill Bell didn't quite know what to do with.

Love Paul Davis songs. I have Sweet Life and I Go Crazy on my ipod, but for some reason Cool Night from 1981 is not available for download.

If anyone ever asks you why disco is and was such a vital genre of music...
It's funny that you brought up this song. I was watching this clip from a Disco Dance show and that is the song they were playing. Great tune.

Lindsay Frost reminds me of Lindsay Wagner......LOL

Here is a 1984 Taco Bell commercial featuring Margaret Colin and William H. Macy. Fred Gwynne (Herman Munster) is doing the voice over.

Really ? That's weird. Eric Braeden always looked like an old catchers mitt and they let him stay. I think they should have kept Brittany on.
