  1. This John story is difficult to get through even as a huge John fan. I know it's inevitable with the taping schedule, but I just want it to end. I want a great celebration of John's life as soon as possible-not months of Marlena/Steve/everyone wondering where he is. I understand the show was in a hard place with the entire situation, but, man it's depressing watching knowing how it ends.
  2. I don't remember them being together either, but apparently they were married (later annulled) in 2015. It was Stafford's Nina and Ric wanted her fortune. At least that's what the internet tells me. It does sound vaguely familiar to me. I am notorious for mixing up almost all of Nina's backstory though. Obviously, bringing back Brenda would be the better solution. I am just resigned to it not happening. Nina seems like the only real option currently on the show for Sonny and that's still a reach for me.
  3. As much as this pains me to say, I think Nina's future on the show might hinge on Sonny. I wouldn't mind if Nina had a breakdown and was shipped off for awhile. I just don't know how long this little Eva La Rue experiment will last. Natalia doesn't have a fanbase and Sonny needs a love interest. While they have completely dropped Nina/Sonny at this point she's more likely to repaired with Sonny than Carly, IMO.
  4. I agree. I don't know where you go with either character now. They've alienated themselves from the entire canvas basically. Sure, the fallout can go on for awhile, but I don't know where you take them next. I'd give both characters a nice long break in Washington.
  5. I felt it was a really weak attempt not to go and she wanted Drew to convince her otherwise. This story really had the potential to be so good with the addition of Nina. It just hasn't been executed well. The build up to Willow/Drew wasn't good enough, the reveal of the affair was mistimed, making it a love match was a silly choice too. Drew should be still seeing Nina on the side. Willow should lose everything and find out Drew was just two timing and deceiving her. Now, I am sure the Nina/Drew reveal will be okay, but it could have been so much better. Obviously losing Chad isn't ideal either so I have a feeling this story will kind of just fizzle out and not have a great conclusion. I think KM is mostly adequate. I agree I don't know if she has the range. She really hasn't been given the material to try though. I honestly have no problem with the show ditching Willow all together. There isn't much tying her to the canvas anymore.
  6. Oh, I am sure you are right. I just really thought Willow wasn't stupid enough to leave her young son alone in a hotel room for half the night. I was wondering the same about everyone thinking they hooked up in DC. I guess everyone just assumed that's what happened and Willow/Drew didn't really deny it. If you didn't plan to continue the affair Willow would have canceled the trip to try to save her marriage or at least play it cool for a custody case. Honestly, if Wiley really had to go I am sure Willow could have arranged for Nina to take him and possibly actually got Michael's permission. It's unlikely Michael would have said yes. It just would have been the best way to go about it. Willow's intentions were clear once she decided she had to attend. I am just counting down the days until she finds out about Nina/Drew, has no lover, no friends, no husband, and no kids. I hope Willow turns evil.
  7. Good question. I have a tendency to fill in gaps on small things in my own head when watching GH or Days so I just assumed someone was watching Wiley. I suppose there could have been adjoining rooms. I think I am giving Willow/Drew way too much credit. They did have sex in a playroom with a nanny cam so they really don't care about anyone else. Everyone keeps harping on Willow bringing Wiley over state lines, but no character has really asked where Scout or Wiley were while Willow/Drew were hooking up.
  8. I could be wrong but I thought Willow left Wiley with a nanny or a sitter not unattended for hours lol. All she said was that she wanted to be there when Wiley woke up. I didn't think that meant he was alone in the hotel room. That's kind of hilariously negligent if he was.
  9. Good way to describe her. She's likeable, mostly nice, and is just the kind of supporting character you need. Sasha is never going to be a breakout star, but she's pleasant enough. The character has also gone through an insane amount of tragedy year after year so you do just kind of root for her happiness.
  10. To be honest, my endorsement of Sasha was more "she's better than Willow" than an actual like of the character. I just thought she had more potential. I was ready to write her off when she became the Q cook, but it seems like she has a bit more story now. And, no, I don't agree with the Robert/Holly kid nonsense still. Glad to hear your apartment is still safe. I haven't lived in LA for awhile now, but it sounds absolutely terrible.
  11. @DRW50 you are a miracle worker. I've been trying to tell @Vee Sasha wasn't that bad for months!!! Hope your home is okay Vee!
  12. Maybe with a friend, acquaintance, family, etc. Not with the sister of the guy she cheated on that's very seriously injured right now. That's not even realistic in a real life situation. Maybe down the line Joss may have some sympathy and understand (doubtful), but I think everything is too fresh for Willow to find an ally today. Willow should probably understand the emotions of Joss's boyfriend just being killed and her brother being near death-not trying to excuse the need to "follow her heart".
  13. Yes! The way Willow said it was worse than Joss's response. Willow seemed delusional, not like she was striking a low blow to Joss. It was more like we are the same, right? If Willow had some bite defending her actions it's would be better. She's just so teary and sad wondering how it all got to this point.
  14. I agree that Caterina story was a horrible re-write. I don't mind they are tying it up just to make it clear John did nothing wrong. I do blame Ron for A LOT, but I assume he was buying time hoping Drake's health would improve and wanted to wait to make any decisions on new story for John. Considering the private nature of his illness, I am willing to cut the show some slack as we really don't know how long Drake was dealing with this and how the show had to write around it. It's very difficult to watch without John/Drake, but I assume we are moving into the final arc for John soon.😭 From what I read Drake was aware they were going to kill John off before he passed and agreed to it.
  15. Honestly, it's karma for cheating with Sasha first too lol. I think if the dialogue was a bit better and Joss acted remorseful about her cheating on Cameron and expressed desire to not repeat that mistake again it would have helped. I'll also give Joss a slight pass because her boyfriend literally just died. 😂 Like I said, if Joss admitted it was a huge mistake to cheat on Cameron and she learned from it that would have made it slightly better. She was out there sort of defending her cheating as opposed to Willow's. Willow's audacity just beat Joss's smugness yesterday. She really thought Joss would be sympathetic to her? Willow comes waltzing into the hospital expecting people to understand or side with her when Michael's near death? She was out of town with her boyfriend!!! Willow is delusional if she thinks anyone in Michael's family is going to be nice to her. She's met his family, right? Anyway, even if those harsh words were delivered by the wrong person it was well deserved.
  16. I don't mind Doug 3 in theory and am liking him so far. I think his introduction was very clunky. The way they explained Robert, Dougie, Doug III was just confusing. Like @Khan replied the show covered most of the bases, but it wasn't terribly clear. I consider myself pretty knowledgeable about Days history and I still had to check some sites to get more details. I think it may have been easier if Hope/Julie/Doug had some contact with Dougie throughout the years to at least bridge the gap for viewers and make it easier to believe Julie would take his son in so readily. And honestly it's just very confusing to hear Doug/Dougie/Doug III all in the same episode.
  17. I am really sorry @AbcNbc247 in advance, but I didn't mind Joss today. Yes, she's a hypocrite and yes, she had to have sex with Dex instead of helping Brit (no real loss to me), but...her cheating was pretty low stakes compared to Willow's. Cam deserved better and moved on. It was a teenage romance that fizzled out. It happens. Young people are stupid sometimes. Willow is a fully grown woman that destroyed her marriage to sleep with her husband's uncle with two young children at home. Not to mention everything else Willow has done like lie to Chase, lie about cancer, complain about Nina and her schemes, and is still our heroine. It's Joss's brother that's in critical condition. Did she really expect sympathy from Joss who has a long history of just being smug in general lol?
  18. I think it's Joss's Christening. It definitely was a Christening because I thought about that one when someone brought up the Christmas shooting. That was pretty good. I am going to embarrass myself here, but I liked the James Franco one to Mad World when he falls of the MoMA? balcony. It's hilarious. Obviously, I agree about Guza's reliance on these montages. They were always trying to one up Clink Boom. A lot of them were entertaining though.
  19. The only montages that touch "Clink Boom" are the "Lullaby Massacre" when Laura is singing to baby lulu and shots ring out at the club, Luke's house, and Sonny's apartment. That was obviously before Clink/Boom and the Amazing Grace montage when Brenda returns. You might all be thinking I said that because Brenda is in all three-and that is true. They still are the top 3 IMO. The Metro Court Hostage situation one was pretty cool too.
  20. It's in 2000. Emily/Zander and Alexis are with Sonny. It's on you tube, but the song has been taken out. I can't remember what song it was either.
  21. I'll be honest, I can hardly remember anything BW did as AJ besides the obvious Michael stuff. He romanced Hannah for a bit I think and worked with Skye to cause trouble. The Courtney romance was the most memorable thing he did that didn't involve Michael. To think how much story could have been played out if AJ/Courtney were really given a shot. Instead, we got Sonny being mad at Jason for about 10 mins because he was dating his sister.
  22. Yeah. I think cast changes (outside of SK's firing) affected where the story was supposed to go as well. KMc left, Steve left, Hannah flopped, so the show pivoted to Sonny/Carly. I think the original intention was probably always AJ vs. Jason over Michael, but it ended up being Sonny/Jason/Carly vs. AJ over Michael and there was no chance AJ was winning against that. Anyhow, AJ became the designated loser. I will say that I actually liked AJ/Courtney and thought that story had more potential, but AJ was quickly moved aside for Jason/Courtney.
  23. Exactly. What a waste of a character that could have had years and years of story. I don't blame SK. After enduring insulting fat jokes and being unceremoniously killed off I would stay far away from GH too.
  24. I was going to say it's going into KS territory too. AS seems to be picking things that she is comfortable in, but don't look the best on camera. AL's styling as Brook Lynn was the polar opposite and looked cheap too. There has to be a happy medium between covering it all up like Setton and doing whatever Leon was doing. BLQ doesn't have to wear the wild things Lois sometimes wears, but you think she'd at least take some inspiration from her mom and upbringing and be more adventurous.
  25. I am not aware of Sofia Mattson or Amanda Setton making any announcements about being pregnant so we probably shouldn't speculate. I think the boxy blazers AS wears are just unflattering. She generally looks the same as she has for years to me.
