You make some really good points here. I think Abigail Klein is quite likeable she's just been written as very wishy washy and cookie cutter. There is nothing that makes her stand out as Patch/Kayla's daughter like you stated. Ron never seemed to have a clear idea what to do with Stephanie or who to pair her with. I do think it's a fixable problem, but she needs to get away from Alex, IMO.

Probably. Stephanie is still so underdeveloped as a character to me. She jumps from romance to romance and I feel like she takes on the persona and interests of the man she is with at the moment. I don't really know her interests or personality. And Stephanie certainly gets enough airtime to explore more than sex with Alex. I know she was interacting with Kayla today, but a lot of the dialogue was "Alex asked", "Alex thinks..", "Alex is now free so I have to go" lol. What do you think about anything, Stephanie?

I honestly felt like Gabi/Alex had a deeper conversation on their short date than Stephanie and Alex have had in their entire relationship. Didn't Alex try to reboot Titan Publishing with Theresa, and it flopped? So Sophia and Rachel have the same birthday? Lol. It was strange Tate got sick at the party and I have no clue what Sophia's about. I really don't think she's scheming, but I do think she'll ending wanting to keep the baby. I'll be brief with this response because it is veering into Classic thread territory, but I agree about the Taggert writing especially when the show revealed he worked with/was mentored by Deke and knew Sonny killed him. It gave Taggert a bias that was unnecessary and made it seem like he was a poor judge of character, so the audience was already primed to dislike him even if Taggert was right. Plus, Garcia and Taggert were pretty obnoxious, especially early on lol.

Hmmm... I don't know if I agree the show has been doing this with Sonny since the mid-90's. He was more anti-hero than hero back then and had a whole lot of baggage. He also had some very decent qualities. This was long before his bipolar diagnosis. I have said this so many times on this board, but the true ending for the Sonny character was leaving Brenda at the altar. Not because I wanted that or anything. I was upset for days and might still be 25 years later. It was just Sonny finally doing something very unselfish and leaving Brenda for her own good and well-being. The family and life he craved he realized he couldn't achieve because of the business. That to me was the end of Sonny's arc. It's unfortunate MB didn't make it primetime and came back a year later lol.

It seems like Steve actually enjoys scenes with Jane. I really think Steve has just mellowed out in general and is more open to doing what is asked. He's not 30 anymore so he's probably just happy to keep getting work especially after the whole Covid situation. If he ended up with Brenda I wouldn't complain either lol. You probably won't get that 10% out of me, but I may consider if you drop the Jordan love haha!

Makes sense. I was thinking Kate might have started on the board when Victor was in a coma and just continued to be on it. I know there was a Toscano foundation for Isabella, so you would assume John and Victor were on the board and perhaps let Brady take over? I can't remember if Stefano/Andre/Tony were ever interested in the hospital, but I would bet they were at some point. I don't know why EJ thinks Brady OR Kate would vote in his favor, especially after he threatened Kate and her sons.

I thought it might be either a Victor or Dimera thing. Both seem plausible. I just don't know why Kate would care about the hospital much lol. It would obviously be a conflict of interest for her to vote either way, but so would Brady's vote. I am overthinking it lol.

I actually like Alex/Gabi. I didn't mind JJ/Gabi, but I agree JJ is a bore. I am confused as to why Brady is on the hospital board? Something to do with Isabella, I assume? If Rachel is the shooter the recast makes a bit more sense.

I tend to ignore the fact you like Tanisha Harper. She just blends in. When she comes on screen I literally mind drift and think what I want for lunch. Melgar's Lily at least iconically blew up!!! And once you know she's going to explode LM is tolerable in rewatch. It's coming!! Half the young people in town call him "Uncle Sonny" or, well, "Dad" lol. You know Emma's going to be on that bandwagon.

Lily (the character) had 0 charisma and when you are working with 90's Mo and Vanessa, and, uh...Ricky Martin you need some spark. People can have friends of all ages and I am not age shaming Anna or Finola, but Jason/Sonny are your daughter's friends. My mother isn't friends with my friends or at least doesn't actively hang out with them lol. Yeah, I don't really care if Emma has scenes with Sonny. After playing Lily Rivera with the personality of a wet dishrag, the bar was low for Melgar lol. Anna/Sonny is even stranger to me. Sure, he helped Robin out a lot 30 years ago, but Anna and Sonny don't have any real history. Anna can tolerate both Sonny/Jason for her daughter's sake. She does not need to be friendly with either. Anna's character has taken a real hit with all the Valentin things as well. Have Emma and Sonny interacted yet? I can't remember.

Oh, I didn't know that about Melgar. She's not a GH alum I particularly follow obviously lol. I remember she had a brief period of relevance when she did that web soap and people were saying she was a good actress. Not on GH lol, but that's for the classic thread. It's just too much of a friendship. They can be pals or co-grandparents or whatever, but Laura should not like Sonny THAT much. And who in life blathers on about how much they enjoy one another's friendship for multiple days/episodes? Lol. The part of the audience that likes Sonny (myself included) should know Sonny sucks and just accept it. He's an awful human and I hate him 90% of the time but I like him 10% more than anyone on this board lol. I don't need Laura or anyone in town to prop him up to me and I doubt people that dislike Sonny would be convinced to like him just because Laura apparently has horrible taste in friends and husbands, but I digress.
