After the recasting of Gia, Nik/Gia were severely backburned and did a whole lot of nothing. Gia started helping Alexis with law stuff pretty randomly and dropped modeling. I think Nik/Gia broke up over Zander though. Nothing romantic was happening with Gia/Zander, but I think Nik was just jealous Zander was spending time with Gia. In the end Nik tried to get Zander to leave town by blackmailing or paying him or something and Gia found out and broke up with Nik. It was very anticlimactic.

Days- Good- Bo being Victor's son. That was reveal created long lasting drama for Bo and the Bradys. Mickey/Laura/Bill/Mike Sami/Austin/Lucas/Will I assume @ironlion is referring to paternity reveals that lasted longer or happened while the child was older, but John/Roman/Marlena/Belle. I actually though everything about that story was done really well including the reveal. Bad- Most of them lol. Any Stefano kid revealed after 1992. Carly/Daniel/Maggie/Melanie-ugh. GH Good Laura is Nik's mom. I really love that story and the re-introduction of the Cassadines This is an unpopular opinion probably, but I liked the Alexis/Kristina paternity secret until it devolved into that mess with Dobson. It was all very soapy Bad So, so many here Ethan is Luke/Holly's All of Lulu's children somehow not being born to her lol Karen is Scott's daughter. She left like 5 min later. The idea was fine, but it was pointless with the actress leaving. And the one we just talked about recently, Who fathered Skye?

You are correct. Marlena was in the townhouse bedroom after John "died" looking at his coffee mug and crying, so it was around before. I honestly don't remember Sami living there at all, but I am sure you are right about that too. I think I just associate the townhouse with J/M's return even though it existed previously. It had quite a large bedroom in 2011 as well. I don't think the living room set changed much except for some redecorating, but it seemed to make more logistical sense back then just based on how they walked in and out of rooms. I always liked Kim's pop ins. I liked her and Eric's relationship. I wish they could have found something more permanent for PP/Kim.

I liked that Bo/Hope story. It was quite good. I think Bo/Hope stuff in the JER era gets overshadowed because the John/Marlena stuff was just so much more of the focus. It's weird Belle/Sami hate each other now (and I don't mind it) because they historically always got along. I actually don't mind John/Sami being slightly antagonistic because John is one of the only people that calls Sami out on her sh*t. Roman/Marlena just coddle her. I just want the show to pick a lane on this. Sami looks completely unreasonable for hating him for the affair still but if she was mad because he actually tells her she's being ridiculous that's fine.

I can't imagine spending my hard earned money to buy fictional characters bedding, but I may be persuaded to buy a comforter for Sonny and Brenda if FV would hire Vanessa back🤣 Anyhow, if I had to rank JER stories it would be 1. Aremid 2. Maison Blanche 3. Paris 4. Kristen/Susan/Marlena/John 5. The Possession I'd put the Affair at 2 personally, but I know that wasn't all JER.

Oh who can forget that tumble down the steps? To be fair, I think Marlena was only about 55 because she celebrated her 50th birthday in 1999 or 2000. I am sure she had a very viable womb in 2005🤣 I remember the bed spread stuff because the show used in for Steve/Kayla and some J&M fans paid like serious money to send a bedspread to Days. I. Don't. Even. Know. However, I don't remember this cabin they moved into. I admit I went in and out with Days back then. John was in a coma forever and Marlena was doing silly things like feeling John's presence on her penthouse balcony Lol! Sami's wishy washy hate for John annoys me so much. They get over it and then it reappears for no rhyme or reason. I know it was quite traumatic to see your faux dad banging your mom on a conference table, but it was 30 years ago Sami! Aremid is probably my favorite JER story. It's really perfect.

She can keep the charm bracelet, but John would regularly get her ugly necklaces all the time she could pawn. I am still not sure how I feel about both Carrie and Belle being lawyers, but it worked for this story.

They had a week's worth of discussions about budget and then it disappeared. Realistically, Marlena could have sold some of that ugly ass jewelry John used to give her all the time lol. I longed for the Paris Underground and Cages. They are already ridiculous in the best way don't give them the world's most boring, yet also weirdly complicated story. I did like Carrie in the story though.

Yeah, I think I would swap out Robin's paternity reveal or whatever they were referencing in 1985 and put Robin's return on there. I would have had Sonny shooting Dante on there too, but I guess that was a little over a decade ago.

The fraud story was really stupid. I still don't know if John got his money back lol. It was just not a J&M bread and butter story and it was very boring.

The townhouse sucks! I sort of got it when it first appeared because John/Marlena had to downsize because of that whole fraud situation when they first came back and John lost all his money. But now we are supposed to believe it is a huge place with multiple bedrooms and space. My living room in my 2 bedroom house is larger than that!

I have a lot of thoughts of Peter being anywhere near a GH top 10 list (unless it's a top 10 worst list), but I guess his death was to be celebrated. There are a few moments I would take out, but it's an overall solid list.

The layout of J&M's house seriously confounds me as well. At least have a doorway where the kitchen would be. It's like the living room just leads to a hallway of endless bedrooms. Do they have a den? Kitchen? Bathrooms? Is that tiny living room the only common space in the house? I appreciate the fact Days kept the Horton house, but I really wish they kept the Penthouse set. I didn't even get to say goodbye to it. One day John's in a coma and Marlena just explains she sold the Penthouse!!! off screen while he was ill which is kind of a major change to make without talking to your partner lol.

Yeah, the character is a mess. I wouldn't say it's the actor's fault. Nina's backstory is banana's lol. I don't think MS brought anything special to the table as Nina, but I don't think she was bad. I can't see her in a pairing with MB at all though lol.

I liked MS better than CW as Nina, but it's two different characters at this point. I thought MS had good chemistry with Ingo and RH. In general I despise Nina, but I didn't think MS was that bad. The character just was awful.

You aren't wrong. I think it's just in my perception of things. I know the K mansion is big because we saw it in the 90's as being big. If Marlena/John still lived in her penthouse and it was a different set my mind would know it was quite large even if it didn't look that way. I believe they do mirror John/Marlena's house with Patch/Kayla's. They just have a kitchen, but it's the same bones of a set.

At least the Dimera and Kiriakis mansion seem big. John/Marlena's house doesn't even have a visible kitchen or bathroom. Just a hallway that leads to 75 rooms🤣

From what we were told Wendy is good at her job or at IT/hacking and shouldn't be fired. If everyone was fired for having relatives that suck at Dimera no one would be left employed there 🤣. I generally assume Sarah/Wendy are too lazy to go house hunting these days because they have to be able to afford at least a small place.

I am still stuck as to why Wendy has to sleep on the couch in the middle of the living room when there is apparently a perfectly fine couch in an office that has some privacy.

Correct lol. It was stupid as was the fake acting by Allie/Alex. Just make up a dumb story about why you are together. It's not like they were naked lol. Allie left her wallet at the bar and Alex dropped it off. Good cover. I know that's not very soapy, but it really wasn't that soapy of a situation. Have Chanel juggle her keys while they were in bed or waking up. Not an hour later.

I was laughing at Chanel trying to find her keys in that tiny ass purse. Like her keys are all that purse would fit. I may be on an island alone here, but I actually like Allie/Alex together. Not as a couple and they both still suck, but I enjoy their scenes together. I don't know what's wrong with me.🤣

Okay? But I don't see how that would be much harder. I don't think production is making anything unavailable for People. Anyway, it doesn't matter. I just don't think a 15 dollar magazine was slapped together without thought or at least a mild barometer of popularity of it's subject. Feel free to move on from the subject....

I don't imagine it would be hard to find available photos of anyone on GH past or present unless we are going back to the 60s or early 70s so I don't think People just looked at around for a bunch of stock photos they had on hand lol and went from there. I think there was a rhyme and reason and a bit of a gauge of popularity. I don't think People would just randomly dig up a photo of Trina/Spencer (a non-couple) without a bit of research. Anyhow, we have talked about a lot of other sillier things for much longer as well.

Obviously, I was not arguing with SnB on the cover. I would put them on every cover anytime even non-GH ones lol. The S/B/J triangle was my first real taste of the soap internet fandom and it was very passionate and intense. I am surprised it still holds up because the show certainly never references Sonny/Brenda. I do personally feel they were the last GH supercouple, but everyone's mileage varies on that and I think there are a few GH couples that have strong arguments.

Lol! I think whoever People's photo editor(s) is for this is a secret Sonny and Brenda shipper. They were on the 50th too and Carly and Jason aren't in sight. At least Becky/Liz deserves to be on the cover. On the 50th there was a big random pic of ASJ/Jagger shirtless for no apparent reason lol.
