I don't think it's strange at all that Portia objects to Spencer/Trina. Most mothers would. I do think it's strange she cares more about Sprina than her own failing marriage though. All the handwringing and guilt she had before the wedding has seem to disappear and I don't think Portia even cares about Curtis anymore lol.

Yes! Stephanie is older than Brady in chronological real time. I think the best correlation to Brady is Abby being about 5 months younger than him or maybe the fact Theresa and Andrew are both older than him as well.

Probably. 😂 Kristen and little Brady didn't have a ton of scenes, but I will never forget this set. Kristen has Marlena locked in the Secret Room and tells Brady since she's marrying John she will be his new mommy. More should be made of this on the show, but Days has clearly shied away from the whole John/Kristen romance over the last decade. Kristen/Brady will never not be super creepy even if they aged Brady 2 decades along the way.

I think this is where Kristen says she will be his new mommy too. Seriously.

That's all I have on the casting lol. I feel like she has story with her position as Chief of Police or whatever she is and Tj's mom. But I'd be fine with bringing back a Ward. She could have been Maya. More appropriate for her age and look.

Probably. I don't disagree Jordan deserves story, but unfortunately this actress just isn't cutting it. She's too young (I could buy her as TJ's love interest tbh), she too wooden, and she has no charisma or spark. Give Jordan a rest and bring her back later with an appropriate actress.

Did she audition? Was she the only one who went to the call? Or was Mark Teschner on vacation that day and some assistant just looked at her picture and was like that's the one? I am sure Tanisha Harper is a lovely person, but there are at least 20 soap actresses I can think of off the top of my head that could do a better job than her.

Donnell only seems to like his scenes with Genie lol. I don't know if he thinks he's above the story he's getting or just doesn't care. Seriously, Taggert seems more engaged in this story than anyone besides Trina. I agree on TH being almost robotic lol. She's so pretty, but she has zero emotional depth when she acts or talks or interacts with other humans.

I haven't seen Jordan have chemistry with anyone. TH has anti-chemistry with everyone and Donell isn't exactly a chemistry machine either lol.

I sort of see Talia falling for Chanel unfortunately, but your idea sounds better.

Seriously. Talia would have had to put in months of time for this plan to work and if killing Paulina was the idea that's a lot of elaborate extra work. If Colin was able to easily pose as a health inspector, he could have gotten into the Sweet Bits kitchen himself under the guise of an inspection and planted the drug himself. I can't believe Colin and supposedly smart Talia spent months planning this.

To give Sloan a good edit. She went about things a legal way and was falsely accused for months. It's just to make Sloan sympathetic because Ron wants to keep her. Well, from what I gathered it was to make Chanel feel the pain he did with his mother dying. Tbh, Talia was completely unnecessary in all this. Colin could have came to town and killed Paulina on his own.

The Talia twist did interest me at first. Even if I strongly disliked her seducing Chanel. The whole story just went from drugging some biscuits to actual murder at lightning speed. If Colin was willing to kill Paulina, why not just start with that? Why waste time on these petty things lol?

I feel like this Colin story moved really fast. I thought it would play out a little longer than this, but I guess that's how Ron rolls. I think it was pretty good today though. Everything else (EJ, Nicole, Gabi, Stefan) was filler.

I didn't get the vibe that Marlena actually hates Sloan. Just weary of her. I know she said she disliked her, but it seemed like she was willing to go to dinner with her. The fact that Marlena likes Nicole so much better is a stretch considering everything ever including stealing Sami's child, so I am sure she can come around to Sloan. As far as Belle, she's seen so infrequently we actually don't get clear view points from her. I kind of chock it up to Belle always being judgey.

I completely disagree. 🤷‍♀️ People have different takes. I don't think it's "Bull" at all lol. Marci Miller is dull to me.

Sloan said her parents moved to London and Colin grew up in the England. She stayed in the states to go to college. I would guess she's supposed to be about 15 years older than Colin. Idk, that puts her in her late 30's, which she doesn't look, but that's how I took it from the story.

NLG is of course entitled to her opinions, and she knows HP very well. We, obviously, don't and the optics here aren't great. Tying a DUI to politics in this case is a real stretch and obnoxious. Even if she said I am supporting Haley during this trying time or something more blunt I would be less annoyed by it. Agreed.

I'd prefer if NLG said nothing at all. But she'll never do that. lol I can understand her feeling one type of way about Haley and supporting her in private, but this is typical NLG.

This is exactly how I feel. I don't know about Molly/TJ. I still feel like I know so little about them as a couple outside the surface anti-marriage stuff. Perhaps they could be more compelling.

It actually seemed like finally Molly was going to get some material with TJ and possibly with whatever they are doing with Kristina. I do agree that HP seemed capable but she's definitely C-list. I don't dislike Molly, but I don't miss her when she's gone either.
