  1. I can't stand Diane in general, so I hate the idea of her getting a high-profile romance. I was fine with her dating dayplayer Max for years. There is something so self-righteous and smug about Diane and her disdain for the mob while dating a mobster and making her living off of defending them. UGH! I don't know what Robert likes about her and her ugly Talbots suits. I do think Anna/Robert is the way to go. Even if it's not TR and FH's favorite, the pairing seems to make the most sense for the characters. Plus, they have had lovely moments together. I adored the material they got on Nightshift (season 2?) when Robert thought he was dying. Lol! I should probably clarify that I don't care if Ethan is recast as he is actually important for this story. I just think Ethan is an overall ill-defined character and Nathan Parsons was the best part about Ethan. I always really wanted a Kristina/Ethan friendship that turned to romance once Lexi looked a little older.
  2. I advocate Robert/Anna just to end Diane/Robert and Valentin/Anna. Two birds with one stone. Or we can reunite him with Holly and JPS can book a primetime role and have to leave the show. I actually didn't mind the Olivia/Robert flirtation awhile back though. I honestly can't believe I remembered 3 actresses. I certainly do not remember a COVID pinch hitter. Unless it was the delightful Lindsay Hartley filling in for KeMo as Sam.
  3. Oh, NP has some major hair issues throughout his time in PC. There was a lot of greasy ponytails, but I thought NP was fairly charming. I find Ethan in general to be useless (although he obviously is needed in this story), but I thought NP elevated a character that was trash to begin with. I mean, they could give KM some makeup under her eyes or something to make her look sick. She literally just only wears concealer and foundation instead of a full face. Throw some dark circles in there at least. Interesting group of choices. I am honestly not familiar with them all, but I will take your word. If you could throw together a competent list of ladies as quickly as that I am not sure why GH didn't cast a wider net looking for the 3rd Jordan.
  4. Why was Chase's dad yapping with Alexis instead of supporting his son at his hearing? Where was Finn? Dante? Why is his singing partner coming to his defense? I don't know why I am even asking these questions as I don't care at all about the story lol Nice to see Holly. ES looks great. Did we know Ethan was being recast? I think the only likable thing about the character was Nathan Parsons. I don't know if I am feeling Diane/Robert. They are okay, but I think I might agree with those that said just reunite him with Anna. Sonny/Nina are terminally boring. Luckily for them Willow was in the episode to be more boring and whiny.
  5. Yeah, I obviously know beautiful people are a dime a dozen in soaps and gorgeous people are capable of doing any job, but the way TH is put together and carries herself screams Face of Deception more than Police Commish. I am certain GH could have found a more believable actress to play Jordan.
  6. Got it. I didn't read the whole twitter thread, so that makes more sense as far as Shawn, but I don't know what the excuse is not to use Shawn the other 250 episodes a year. I took it in the context of the single tweet and felt like Ron was saying this story had other beats, but JA was too ill to complete them so things overall had to be cut. That being said, I would be interested in seeing the script lol. I haven't watched the episode yet, but Ben/RSW's fans seemed to love the Marlena/Ben relationship. I think Ron is trying to recreate that with Alex because he thinks that's a popular draw. As a Marlena stan I would like to say that's my least favorite thing about her. Well, next to her ugly suits. That might be my least favorite thing about her lol.
  7. With the risk of sounding insensitive (and I don't mean to), was it that out of Ron's control? I don't think Ron was prepared for JA to pass away mid story, but this wasn't a Victor tribute arc. This is Bo's return. I wonder if Ron went so heavy on Victor in this story to cover his own butt. If the story goes over well Ron gets praise for using an ailing vet. If it goes over poorly it was out of his control-John was sick and unable to work. Perhaps I am being overly cynical, but JA's health has been declining for years. Was Ron expecting him to film a large part of this story? If Ron had added Victor's influence into this after JA passed it would be one thing, but it seems he had the full intention of using Victor in scenes. It almost seems like Ron wanted an excuse for this Bo story in case it failed. Again, I don't want to come off as a jerk and I don't think Ron wished ill will on anyone, but I am curious as to how he really thought this was going to be executed. All of the players in Bo's parentage have passed away in real life. There was no way to make the return of a character that's been around for 40 years about anything else?
  8. I like the 2nd picture of KS. That hair color looks really nice. The brown is okay. It's not a bad color to compliment KS features and coloring. I just think that dark of a color without any contrasting highlights tends to look drab and without depth especially since she has relatively thin hair. When you combine that with the way Maxie dresses, it makes her seem even more matronly. But, like I said, she has done much worse to her hair in the past. As far as Jordan, I didn't realize she was that close in age with VA. Like @Vee said, Jordan is a pretty thankless role and at least VA had some charisma. I don't find TH to have much, but the writing is very up and down with her Jordan. I don't know if Jordan is the villian or the root for half the time. I also think TH's look is too pretty and delicate for the role of Police Commissioner. Obviously both previous Jordans were pretty as well, but I could possibly imagine them as cops. I have a hard time imagining this Jordan in jeans and t-shirt let alone as a tough DEA agent.
  9. Same. I don't know why the Days thread always has the drama, but the show doesn't 😂
  10. Wow, well I guess Curtis must have done some things on the show then. There are certain characters on GH that I watch their scenes and immediately forget what happened afterward. He falls into that category.
  11. He's been on the show since 2016? Never noticed. That's a long time to be around and I can think of anything he's done that I remember lol.
  12. Both recast Jordans looked really young, but TH looks noticeably too young to be TJ's mom. I think she probably has improved a bit, but she feels very miscast to me. Perhaps in a different role Tanisha Harper would be fine? I just don't think she has the fire or gravitas for being the Police Commissioner. Donnell Turner falls into the acceptable/fine category for me. He doesn't wow me, but I am not actively noticing he's awful or anything. He's just mostly boring.
  13. It's too bad because if the show played it less campy and less quickly (I know impossible for Ron), the stakes could have been much higher and it could have put a wrench in a lot of current stories, but now everyone knows they were drugged I assume it's basically over. That begs the question as to why it happened in the first place.
  14. I think NLG looks good, but maybe it's just because KeMo looks old and tired or something lol. Curtis doesn't bother me that much, but the Jordan actress is so young and so miscast she just takes me right out of character. I think the acting is more stiff depending on the scene. I think everyone was really awkward standing around the cell phone listening to Trina talk and that was probably a hard scene to play without rehearsal if that's the case since I assume they are just reacting to without the benefit of hearing what Trina is saying.
  15. So funny. I was actually thinking the same thing. She looked the same age as Sam today lol.
  16. Agreed. I actually don't mind this new hair color. At least it looks like a color that occurs in nature while some of her previous hair did not. I think it makes her look a little more matronly, but I don't ever remember KS being a brunette so I guess it's something different at least?
  17. Has anyone been a fan of Maxie's stylistic choices over the last decade and a half. Outside of her awful wardrobe, she has made some horrible hair choices over the years. See circa 2010
  18. I actually will compliment Days and say I did not see the Talia twist coming. Esme was a walking red flag the moment she entered the scene and for some reason I found Talia instantly more likeable.
  19. Unless Sloan's mom is a doctor, but I don't think they said? I was thinking Talia was maybe involved with Sloan's brother and they aren't trying to frame Sloan, but destroy Chanel. Or the brother is blackmailing her over a medical mistake or something? Talia has already become 100% more interesting than Jada IMO.
  20. Agreed. The actual idea isn't horrible. I am interested as to why Talia is doing this. The extra goofiness involved was ridiculous and the fallout is pretty easy to explain unless Nicole gets pregnant or something here. And, yes, Sloan being the only one to realize people weren't acting normal was bizarre. I guess Li wasn't far behind, but Wendy and Jada aren't dumb and they just didn't think anything was amiss? I honestly didn't hate it as much as everyone else on here. It was very silly and poorly executed as well as moving super quickly, but it was mildly entertaining.
  21. Yes! I agree. I think Brooklyn is good with Ned as well. Sonny/Brook do have a nice relationship and chemistry-and not in a creepy way. A family or old friend way. That's why I think Brook needs to bounce off characters with more edge. Hulu is super unreliable on when they post GH. I am on the West Coast and never know when it will be up. Last week a day wasn't even up by midnight my time.
  22. I 100% agree with you especially about Brooklyn. AS is capable, but they give Brook the lamest screen partners. Chase is adorable, but he's pretty dull and the Linc story has gone on for at least a year too long.
  23. I don't love Brenda being a global celebrity. It's fine, but the way it was played wasn't my favorite. While I don't think it's ridiculous that someone that beautiful would become a famous model and advocate, I did enjoy Brenda in a business role for L&B and would have also enjoyed her running Deception or Crimson as well. If modeling was something Brenda enjoyed it would have been fine, but her depression about modeling and doing it only for her charities was a bit annoying. She was effectively going to give it all up for Sonny anyhow. I would be all for Sonny transitioning out of the mob starting now (and yes we've discussed this). I don't see what Sonny being in the mob brings to the table at this point. Sonny distancing himself from another love interest due to danger? We have literally seen this story 20 times. All Sonny has been doing for awhile is follow Nina around. He might as well take a back seat to someone I actually like. Brenda has inherently much more story to tell just because she's been offscreen for so long. I do feel like Guza was going for Sonny at rock bottom the last time he hooked back up with Brenda, but he didn't take any real losses or change at all. Sure, a lovelorn DA was trying to prosecute him and his kids were a little mad at him, but Brenda spent a ton of time expositing how Sonny wasn't bad at all. Instead of Brenda getting a story truly about her or even S/B getting a story about their love, most of her return was to cheerlead Sonny and to make Brenda/Dante the potential bad guys. Anyhow, I am seriously digressing, but if Brenda were to come back a year or two down the line, Sonny would need to be done with the mob truly. Otherwise, we are watching the same old story with them. As far as Lily/Miguel, there was a really big set up for them. When I watch edits Miguel is literally looking out windows and singing about unknown Lily for about 9 months (in my mind). They also set up the fact that still unseen Lily resembles Brenda quite a few times, so I am always curious if Sonny was always supposed to be involved with Lily. I think everything with Miguel/Lily/Brenda/Sonny did get cut short because Ricky Martin asked to be let out of his contract pretty early to do Les Miz on Broadway and Wendy let him. I know nothing, but I would assume the story would stay pretty much as planned but with Brenda/Miguel instead of Brenda/Jax and, you know what, thank you Ricky for leaving when you did because you and Vanessa had anti chemistry.
  24. LOL! I think Brenda was really unwittingly bullied into keeping Ned's bigamy a secret. It's on Ned. Ned was so mean to her even when she wanted to come clean and she knew way before she was friends with Lois and dating Sonny. I actually don't think she was pushed as the MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL IN THE WORLD until Jax. She was pretty much a spoiled brat with Sonny a lot of the time. They did have great stuff, but I don't think they made her every man's desire until her later returns. Because in the 90's only Sonny/Jax were obsessed with her, every other man was like she's A LOT lol. I also semi-judge you for liking Lily/Miguel. Two pretty people with a lot of good hair do not make exciting story. Although Lily was actually underrated in her manipulating skills. The altars she was given after her death do not really tell the full story of her buying herself a husband. The story for Sonny and Brenda will always be him finally giving up the mob for her and it's basically unrealistic unless Mo leaves or the show is canceled.
  25. It's too bad Vanessa didn't stay and all that so Sonny/Brenda could have tried to be adults in an actual marriage. I can see how Ned/Lois and Jax/Brenda were appealing to people and they were to me too. Sonny/Brenda were a lot especially as a kid. I, of course, loved it even as a youngster, but there is a lot of darkness in that relationship that I see now. It's almost strange how GH focuses on so many leading men with such troubling pasts (Jason, Sonny, Luke).
